When I came in I saw it was a pretty tiny place with a tiny buffet and I did not except much of it. But the food was mostly pretty good especially the cheese bread, the pizza was solid but I got a slice and the crust was all burnt. They also had a salad bar and pasta. Also dessert options. You all have to try the cinnamon rolls so yummy. I give it 3 stars everything was just solid some pros and some cons. And solid prices.

I’ve been here a couple times since it changed names. Very similar to Tazino’s. Pizza and Salad buffet. Nice place to stop if you want to eat fast and get consistent food. I love the salad bar… pretty standard offerings with a few choices of greens and always 4 choices of cold pasta salad. Nice selection of salad dressings. The have a hot pasta choice too. With the pizza there are always multiple options and they will even make ones on request. I like the free flavored water option… so you don’t have to pay for a drink if you don’t drink soda. Saw a reviewer comment on the quality of the food but I feel the taste is there, Its just that I don’t have huge expectations with a pizza buffet. Bathroom also was very clean. Lastly I liked the flat screens and wifi. No complaints s from me here today.

I was OK with Tazinos, which once occupied this space. I would rather go to the chain place and I do not like going there.
Asked for coffee at lunch time, they said they needed to make coffee. The coffee finished just as I was leaving. I had a to go cup, so I took a cup to go, but that was a bad idea. Very watered down coffee. The soups were super salted and also watered down. In fact most of the food lacked flavor. The only pizza that seemed to have any flavor was the BBQ Hawaiian. The regular pizza sauce, the pastas, even the salad items all seem to lack any real flavor.
The real issue was the bathroom smells in the dining area. How can anyone eat decently with that smell wafting through when they eat?
We do not plan to return.

This is a very nice pizza buffet. If given the choice between here and a national chain, choose here!
They carry some choices that are atypical for a buffet pizza rolls, personal calzones, etc.
The staff is on the small side. 4 peaple on a family nite. But they do a great job of tending to everything. You buss your own tables, a small draw back.
For the price it is a must try for any family. And with kids eat free Tuesdays it is a great deal too!

Was really excited to hear they were opening, and was hoping that it would be much better than Tazinos. Only went there once during the first week they were open, but found it to be pretty much the same as it was when it was Tazinos. If you loved Tazinos, you’ll love Wisconsin Pizza Works.
