Denny’s

This was our first visit here and my husband and I were very impressed with everything, from the hand sanitizer at the entrance to the cleanliness of the restaurant. We had prompt service from our waitress (Linda V). Our food was hot and delicious. We both had skillets. I noticed a sink station behind the serving counter and the mgr said they had several of them. This is at a Loves truck stop so was nice to browse thru all the guy stuff. Would make a great place to go for that «different» gift for the guys on your gift list. I read some of the negative reports on here and it is hard to imagine. Just goes to show you how valuable a good employee is!

Usually good service and friendly. Prices are reasonable and clean atmosphere. Lots of truckers stop here.

90% of the time this place has great service and hot delicious food. Once again it was great. Spaghetti and meatballs for me. Chicken salad for my KiKi. And shared half order nachos. All good. Q

My girlfriend and I sometimes come here for fourth meal. Food is Dennys; it’s the same everywhere. However the service here is what sets it apart from all the other Dennys. Sometimes you get a great server, and sometimes you get a terrible server. I regret not getting his name, but we once had a nice young man who busted his hump to make sure we had a pleasant time. Fast, courteous, attentive, but not over-​bearing. Just perfect. However, for all the good servers out there, there are bad ones.
We had a waitress — let’s call her Suzi, since that is her name — that had a terrible «I wish you weren’t here» attitude and wasn’t attentive at all (My drink sat empty ever since my entrée was brought out — even after asking). And unfortunately it only takes one bad apple to spoil a bunch.

When you go to Denny’s you know whAt to expect, consistency. I live so close that we go here at least once a month purely out of convenience. We used to not have to think twice about stopping in, but now it’s such a toss up. About two months ago we had a server and the service was unbelievably poor. We went back had our favorite male server and the service was impeccable (certainly better than you’d expect at a low cost chain). Decided to go back tonight and our service was slow, rude, and unfriendly with yet another new server. Maybe this is the world telling me to stop eating pancake puppies: /

Waitress was unfriendly, but who knows, maybe she was having a bad day. I don’t expect much from Denny’s but this location is the worst I’ve visited.
