Their Mexican food is really good but their Pineapple burger is disappointing. The atmosphere is nice enough.

Nice atmosphere, clean, prompt service. Excellent food preparation. I had the fish tacos and my son had steak enchiladas. Tried the black beans which was a nice option. We we in and out in 35 minutes. I will go back. $ 33 all in with tip but we didn’t have drinks, just water. Had breakfast my second time… spent the extra $ 2 for the loaded red potatoes… they were amazing. I was able to swap pancakes to French toast… which was tasty… great presentation on everything good coffee but was a bit of pricey in the end. Definitely not a breakfast deal but then again you get what you pay for…

I certainly wished I lived closer to this place. My fiancée and I were desperate to find a decent brunch place before trekking back to Chicago. Trying out the hipster places in Walker’s Point didn’t help, except provide 35 min awkward stances in the limited waiting areas. Unilocal pointed out this place as a possible contender and boy did it deliver. In the sparsely filled diner style restaurant among an unassuming strip mall, we were sat right away and had our mugs filled instantly with premium roasted coffee. Apparently they are a mexican joint, but their huge menu allowed for anything that was simply great breakfast food. The fiancée’s three breakfast tacos were substantial in taste, size and presentation, each with a fresh avocado slice. My turkey sausage skillet with redskin potatoes was certainly delicious and even on this cold winter evening I’m already feeling my mouth start to water. Man I wished I lived closer… would love to try them for dinner!

Beware of old reviews– I’m sure this place has recently either come into new management or has a different chef because the quality of the food has significantly decreased in the past few months. I came here a few times this summer when I moved into the area and the food was good but the there’s a night and day difference now. For example, Denver omelet used to be baked, was very fluffy, and had some nice white cheese in the center. Now it’s a sad thin looking omelet clearly made on a skillet and is filled with what appears to be 2 slices of Kraft American cheese. And those baby reds that were crispy and cut into quarters are now greasy limp thin slices of potato. I also got the«fresh fruit crêpe». The«fresh» fruit were frozen strawberries heated up in a microwave. How do I know? Because they were still frozen in the middle and hot on the outside! That’s what they call«fresh fruit»? Overall, don’t be fooled by old reviews. This place has changed significantly and after two back to back terrible experiences, I’m not coming back.

I have been there for breakfast and it is fantastic. Home made jam is the best. We went there tonight, I had the XXX Nachos and they were great! The staff, all of them, are so friendly and checking to see if anything is needed. Definitely will be going back to try those fajita’s. We saw 3 plates go out to others while we were there.

Fast, Friendly and great food. I had the Macho Burrito with ground Beef, Rice, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream and guacamole. Our server and other staff checked in on us a few times to see how things tasted and if we needed anything, I had a huge Margareta for $ 7.00 and was packed with a least 1⁄3 of my Burrito left to take home.

First off, the bad. AWFUL service. Throughout the meal, we had to request things multiple times(extra salsa, more chips, boxes at the end of the meal, our bill, etc). Strangely, we kept having 2 – 3 different waitresses come to our table. I would say a consistent server would have been helpful. When our food did arrive, it was incorrect. We both got combination platters, and the items were jumbled between our two plates. Not too mention, one taco that was requested as flour, came out on a corn tortilla. No big deal, we just asked to bring out a plain flour tortilla, to transfer the ingredients. This turned out to be rocket science to the server, however, as they ended up taking back the whole(still incorrect) plate. As for the food itself, it was decent, but very bland. Tried several meat options, and all were very dry and lacked flavor and seasoning. Cue the Sriracha. The warms chips and yummy(but very limited quantity) salsas were the saving grace of the meals. We went in on a Groupon, and none of our now three different servers who have been rotating in and out of our table, knew how to redeem it. Despite having these three servers, we went a 20 minute stretch without anyone checking on us. Last straw of the night, was when a family behind us, children in tow that clearly were not behaving, were being extremely loud and screaming, to the point where people in the surrounding in the area were audibly complaining. Management did nothing for over an hour, when I got to the point of a verbal confrontation when I asked for their child to keep it down. This triggered the«father» of this family cussing loudly throughout the restaurant. Only now did the manager come over, with a very stearn(sarcasm) «is there a problem»? At this point we asked for our bill, again, and the boxes, we had already asked for 15 minutes earlier. To cap off the night, the unruly family was seen flipping off my fiancée and I, as we walked out the door, with management still doing nothing at all. We will never be back to this establishment. Unacceptable.

«Come for breakfast, stay for Mexican!» Well, you certainly have my attention. I’ve taken my family here four times in three months or so, and we’ve never been disappointed. Their breakfast is the typical diner fare with some minor Mexican influence(I’d recommend any skillet, really), but we keep coming back for lunch. The Mexican food is great value for your dollar. We’ve enjoyed everything the menu offers with molé sauce and it’s all been perfectly pleasant. The wait staff are a generally cheery bunch, the food is good, and the price is right. It’s on the Oak Creek short list for sure.

Went there for dinner on Monday night. It’s clean. Service was slow. Food was fair. I had chicken tacos. Chips and salsa were good. Prices a bit high for the quality. Might try it again for lunch.

The food was fine, but the service was pretty terrible. We visited in the late afternoon, so it definitely wasn’t busy, but for some reason our service at every stage of the meal was slow. Additionally, I was up-charged without warning for a substitution on my son’s meal(please don’t tell me it’s no problem to substitute and then charge me $ 5 for it), and it took about 15 minutes for the employees to figure out how to refund my card. I can’t recommend Pineapple Café when there are so many Mexican choices with great service available in our city.

It was delicious! Have driven by multiple times, decided to stop in and it was definitely worth it. Great menu, really nice staff. The food was amazing. I had the Mexican skillet; if you like spicy, its perfect. Hubby had the stuffed french toast and it was great too. Overall, it was awesome and we will DEFINITELY be back in the near future!

This isn’t just the«giant» margarita talking… I just ate there for the tenth time! My husband has probably topped that. He has had business lunches there. They have lunch specials designed to accommodate a busy schedule. The whole menu offers an impressive assortment. I am a vegetarian who eats seafood and I still haven’t tried all of my options. Can’t wait for my 11th meal!

This place is fantastic. The menu is simple and dishes are tastefully presented but packed with flavor. I’m not one to love rice and beans as much as my entrée but in this case I equally enjoyed all items on my plate. Since this was a lunch visit I plan to come back for breakfast/brunch.

I have been looking at this new place for weeks and I finally had a free weekend morning to check it out. My biggest pet peeve is when the businesses don’t have the menu on line to look at so I’m posting pictures for all to see. This place is in a strip mall with plenty of parking. The place looks like a Greek restaurant and was probably recycled from the previous one. It doesn’t look like a Mexican restaurant at all. There is big booths with tables and chairs for the seating. I got there just after 7 am and the place was starting to come alive. The service was good and I was seated quickly and given a menu. I was never offered water for some reason maybe because I ordered coffee. I stopped getting coffee with breakfast a long time ago because of poor quality but I had the coffee here because a reviewer said it was good. The coffee was halfway decent and I liked the cup it came in because it was a nice size. The breakfast menu is small with omelets, skillets and Mexican options. The cochinito skillet sounded good. It is baby red potatoes, ham, sausage, bacon, tomatoes, green peppers, onion topped with cheese. Two sunny side up eggs topped the whole thing off and toast. The skillet came in a cast iron pan sitting in a wooden holder. The toast was on a square fancy dish. The skillet looked wonderful, see my pictures. The toast was a hearty wheat that came with two home made jams that I sent back as not to waste them because I don’t like jam on toast only butter. The eggs were perfect with that runny yoke. The skillet was very good and I couldn’t really taste the ham or sausage because the bacon was very flavorful and stole the dish. I was saying to my self that the bacon is really good with each bite. I love the baby red potatoes with all the good fresh ingredients and the melted cheese. The skillet was very tasty and generously portioned and should satisfy big appetites. Round two with the left overs I thought how tasty it was and glad I had left overs because I got to enjoy it gain. Overall this was a great breakfast experience and I must try the Mexican dishes for sure. This is the best breakfast place I have eaten at in oak creek so far and a great addition to oak creek.

Oak Creek is starting to become a city-like suburb! A great addition to the community. Very tasty brunch and I love that they have gluten free options on their menu. All the people I was with loved it too! Can’t wait to come back.

Finally a decent Mexican joint in oak creek! I had been there a couple times myself for standard breakfast fare & was pleased. My wife and I went for dinner on a Friday night. I had steak enchiladas & she chose the vegetarian enchiladas. They were fresh & light, the salsa choices were excellent as well. We will defiantly be back, probably a good weekend spot for crepes too! Also as a side note, all the staff was incredibly polite & helpful!

I stopped in here with Diane and her Dad on Father’s Day. I am ecstatic to see a quality Mexican place open up in Oak Creek. Yes it is in OAKCREEK not Caledonia like Unilocal says. I tried to change it, but it hasn’t been fixed yet. Anyways, on to the Food. I had the Shredded Beef Enchiladas with Tomatillo Sauce. They were fantastic! Filled with tender juicy meat and covered with a slightly spicy green sauce and a ton of melted cheese. These were the best Enchiladas I’ve had in a long time. They were served with Mexican Rice, Refried Beans, Guacamole and Sour Cream. Easily enough for two meals, I brought half of it home for dinner tonight! Diane had a 3 item Sampler plate with a Chicken Tamale, Beef Tostada and Beef Enchilada, Rice and Beans. She loved her food and allowed me to try the Tamale. I am very picky about my Tamales, but this one was very good. Often, The Masa is bland and flavorless. Here, the Masa was seasoned well and had a deep Corn flavor. The filling was quite spicy and packed a good punch. Diane’s Dad had the 3 Taco plate with two Chicken and one Beef. He never says much about his food, but he did say these were, «good!». That’s a Five Star review from him! All Meals come with Chips and Salsa. The Mild is REALLY mild, but the hot is very good! Service was Friendly and Fast. They are easily Wheelchair Accessible. Welcome to the neighborhood, Pineapple Café!!!

A friend and I stopped in on Friday morning for breakfast. This new restaurant has an excellent breakfast menu. Many choices. Some classic and some new ones. The food is fresh and delicious. The owners have many years of restaurant experience, and it shows. The restaurant has undergone a nice remodel. The service is quick, cheery and attentive. I will be going back to try the lunch and dinner menus.
