So since last visit, I have talked to mcds corporate office and received a call from the general manager of the location. Both were apologetic and seemed sincere. General manager sent two coupons each good for a medium sized value meal as a gesture to make amends. Not sure when will go back to use them, they expire sept. 2015, so may give them another shot. We’ll see.

My elderly mother has always said this location has panhandlers and other weirdos that sometimes come in and bother patrons. Sure enough, I was with her one day at this location and some creepy guy that must have been high or drunk approached my mother as she was coming out of the restroom. He approached her and mumbled something, but as soon as he saw me and realized I was with her, he swore under his breath and walked out and continued mumbling to himself in the parking lot. He was even trying to come towards our car as we were pulling away. Now that is just too creepy! What if I hadn’t been with my mom that day? They need to monitor the dining area better for these drunks/panhandlers approaching patrons!

I can’t justify giving a McDonald’s five stars under any circumstances since, you know, it’s a McDonald’s. I personally think that 99.9% of fast food is pretty gross, but I have kids who would probably eat happy meals every day if I let them. Thankfully, they’re «special treats»(usually from Grandma – hi mom!) so they relish these little, over-priced box meals as if they were gold. Yep. That said, the McD is fairly clean, service is efficient(if lacking a bit of friendliness at times), and the food is(usually) pretty hot. Yep. It’s a McDonald’s.
