Amazing! I went today to the grand opening in tinley park and it was nothing but amazing! They were giving free pizzas out so we stopped in. Everyone asked how we were doing and the owner said hi to everyone. The food was amazing. I would so go again!

Delicious pizza made fast. Love their thin chewy crust with fire-browned edges. Of all the wood-fired pizzas places popping up recently, this is my fave. This location has good, fast service, and they’ve never messed my order up – always comes out delish. Extra bonus is they serve wine, beer, and some yummy unique salads. For fast food that is healthier and fresher than most, this is the place. Unlimited topping pizza for $ 8 is something you can’t beat. Dozens of ingredients to choose from– actually more than most pizza joints! Gotta try it! Good for a quick grab — in and out in 5−8mins. And they never seem to have a line out the door & things move quickly. So glad this place is right in my neighborhood ;)

Really simple yet genius idea! Blaze is a chipotle style pizzeria. You get to customize your pizza the way you want. They do the customizing right in front of you which is pretty neat. After the customizing you just wait a good 5 minutes for your personalized pizza. I got the one topping and it was only around $ 6. Portion is HUGE and its a great price. Definitely beats a place like little Caesars.

We tried this place coming home from a road long trip. I had read the reviews and wasn’t sure what to expect. The pizza by far was awesome. You can choose as much or as little toppings as you want. Even though it is a personal pizza, it was big enough for two people to eat. As far as the staff, they were great. Nothing like I read in any of the negative reviews. People react to how you are treating them. If you come off as a friendly person and have some respect to put down your cellphone to place your order correctly, you too can have a happy experience.

Its not the best and its not the worst if you want a quick bite this is a good place the pizza was good size. I wouldn’t go out my way to come here, but it has good beer selection and the place is clean the employees were nice not expensive i guess its better than little ceaser pizza so there is that.

So Blaze was nice enough to let me give it a second chance. So in fairness I am updating my review. This time I was not disappointed. We enjoyed our pizza, the staff were wonderful, placw was clean & I would definitely go back. Oh and the pizza was not burnt !

Let me preface this otherwise perfect review with a complaint– next time PLEASE actually cut my pizza. I have no respect for my vehicle so I HAD intended to eat this while on the run — so to speak — and I could not pull the pieces apart. The old-fashioned rotary pizza cutters really do not work. Especially when you’re cutting it on a pizza pan with a lifted edge. I know this from too many years of preparing pizza — as a gig, as well as at home. Use a pizza knife or at least put the pizza on a different surface so you can slam that rotary cutter down into the pizza and put some weight into it! OK — glad I got that out of my system! Because once I picked my wife up from work and she was able to tear the pieces apart I was able to seriously enjoy one of the best pizzas I’ve tasted in a very long time. I would have to say in the beginning I was a bit wary because their set up so closely resembles that of pie five. I know that incubation periods for foodborne illness pretty much assures that the violent intestinal disturbances I had the day after eating at pie five were probably just a coincidence. But pie five also sucks because of the texture of their crust –and toppings for that matter… It’s one thing to claim a pizza that cooks in five minutes or less, but it’s a much better thing when the pizza comes out looking and tasting the way it did at Blaze. I would have to say 99.9% of my pizza consumption over the last 50 years or so has been from local family owned pizzerias. I don’t need to name any other chain pizzerias in order to state the obvious that we all are aware of — namely that chain pizza usually sucks. But along came Jets to break that curse with a pizza that’s so delicious and ingenuitive that Little Caesars is spending a lot of time and marketing money trying to cash in on the Jets phenomenon with their very poor imitation. And now comes Blaze totally kicking ass with a New York style pizza that’s not only hotter and fresher than Sbaros but 100 times more delicious. And kudos to the staff as well at the 95th St. location for their charm and professionalism.

Ahhh i dont know which way to go, havent really experienced a pizza place like such. Hmm building my own pizza with my own toppings? I think yes. friendly staff. They did a good job at explaining the process. I dig the hipster feel to this place. Oh yeah the pizza, got a variety of toppings ranging from bacon to pineapple. Definitely coming back. !!!

Overall good experience, love the free pizza coupons they send me! It’s a great way to get something quick & hot to eat without overfilling your stomach. They’ve got the classic crust also available«gluten free» as well as vegan cheese they cater to you nutrition wise. Personalize your pizza or choose from their signature pizzas on the menu(which is conveniently placed at the beginning of this line). it’s simple and delicious. Oh and if you don’t like pizza get yourself a salad :) Cons: Cooking area(floor) is dirty sometimes, it’s pretty visible to those waiting for their pizzas after they’ve paid. Probably has nothing to do with the quality of the pizza but it’s nice to see a clean floor.

The place has a nice atmosphere, however I didnt care for the seats. Same quick service deal as most places you go to the register order pay and wait. The add on drinks un the cooler were a little pricer than most but not to obnoxious. The pizza is a step up from pizza hut, not a huge step. It was greasy and the dough was floppy almost under cooked, i will not be back. The food is not as good as the appearance of the place.

I absolutely love this place… the service was excellent and the pizza is just as good!!! I love the fact that even on my cheat day I can still be within limits. You get to choose all your toppings with the«Build-Your-Own» pizza which is great. The crust is a little heavier then a flatbread but that didn’t stop me with the toppings. Lol

Updating my review… I will chalk up the bad service we received at first to «new store jitters» or training or whatever because I have not had any issues in the last month at all. Food still delicious and the price is not too bad.

This place is pretty cool. I did the build your own, which was $ 8.45 for an 11 inch that is sliced in 6 pieces. I chosen the gluten-free dough(additional $ 3). They had a nice selection of veggies, meats and cheeses. Sauce selection was average. They even had vegan cheese. Tossed it in the fire oven, done within minutes. Dough wasn’t very gooey. Pretty tasty than most gluten free pizza doughs out there. Very thin, like NY style, fold it up and eat. Love it!

5 stars due to the really great customer service! The staff here was friendly, attentive, engaged, and just all around great. I’ve been to Blaze before, so I knew what I was getting. This isn’t going to be the best pizza you ever had in your life, probably not even in the top 20. However, for what it is, it is really good. It is the chipotle of pizza, at a good price. I got my pizza to go, the bbq chicken. I was in and out in under 5 minutes. The pizza was really great, overall and I would get it again, and it was around $ 9.00. I would highly recommend!

Enjoyed dinner here tonight for the first time. My pizza was delicious. I ordered the«create your own» style personal pizza and tried the white sauce, which was fantastic! No leftovers here!

So we’ve eaten here a few different times now and it’s always been consistent. If you’ve never been to a Blaze before it’s well worth checking out. I would compare it to a Chipotle as they build your pizza as you go down the line prior to putting it into the brick oven. In about 3 minutes your pizza is done. Tons of toppings to chose from and you can get as many as your heart desires for no extra charge. Be sure to get a s’more for dessert.

I’ve never even heard of Blaze pizza until it opened here in Oak Lawn. I came here during dinner time and had a pretty good experience. I thought the food was good, the service was quick, and the workers were nice. The only thing was that it was SOLOUD! Does that make me sound old? Whatever, I felt like I was in a bar! The girl working could barely hear me when I was ordering and I had to shout to talk to my boyfriend while we ate. Can’t they just turn it down?!

I love this idea. The concept of making your own pizza and adding it the way you want it, it’s great. The price, isn’t too bad imo. I came during lunch and it wasn’t too busy. I ordered the White Top Pizza and chicken, and garlic cloves(also added extra bacon). There was no cost for the extra ingredients. It was made within 3 minutes. I ate the whole pizza! The dough isn’t really thick, so each slice isn’t super filling. The best part is the employees here. Everyone was very friendly and were accommodating. I’ll be back again because I want to try the BBQ chicken pizza which looks delicious.

I’m INLOVE with BLAZEPIZZA. I’ve eaten at Blaze in Miami and I know there are some in the Northside so imagine how I reacted when I saw Blaze Pizza in Oak Lawn… F*** you Northsiders… you can’t keep everything to yourselves! Anyway, I love their pizza because it is «make it your own» pizza for a fixed price. It’s like Subway or Chipotle which you’ll walk past the ingredients and choose as you go. You can make your own or choose a «Signature» pizza. The dough is thin and tasty… not like the thin crust you’ve had at other pizza joints. The pizza is fast-fired. And they’ll top the pizza with olive oil. This is my kind of pizza.

Wow! I’ve been to another location before but this one had the best service! Managers were friendly and attentive. I built my own«Za» and I enjoyed the amount of flavors it had! All around great service even for a «soft opening»
