I was very impressed with Edwardos and feel like they’re underrated and don’t get the attention they deserve. Like always I ordered the stuffed with sausage. Since it’s a «stuffed» and not a deep dish, it won’t have as much tomato sauce. But that’s ok because it wasn’t under sauced either. The pizza had a more than perfect amount of sausage(they were stingy at all) and it was like a crumbled type of sausage. Pieces of sausage kept falling out when I would bite. Now tell me the last time that has ever happened in other joints? Never! It also had the perfect of amount of cheese. The crust wasn’t the greatest, probably the reason for the 4 stars and not 5. They have a pretty big dining area and when I went it was rather lonely. We were the only ones dining in. They had a few carry out customers and I hope they had a lot of deliveries because seeing a place so lonely scares me at times, for fear of closing. Customer service was great and will definitely be coming back to try their lunch buffet!

My boss brought me here for the lunch buffet. The pasta was not all that. Their prize is their stuffed pizza. Delicious. Even their regular thin or pan crust is really good. Good price for the lunch buffet.

The person who took my order was rude and unprofessional. She acted as if she was doing me a favor by taking my order. Then she lied about a manager/supervisor not being present. And to top it off she overcharged me for my food. She finally transferred me to George who said was a night manager and he said he didn’t know how the prices were«updated» on their web… What??? I’ve ordered from them before but will never again. We spent at least $ 50 every time we get food from them and I don’t appreciate snotty wanna be Britney Spears to treat me this way.

Mm mm, stuffed deep dish pizza. Edwardo’s always hits their mark, it’s the perfect combination of great rich crust and amazing fresh cheese and tomato sauce. Service is good and the pizza is even better!

Was excited to finally try out this place. Wish I never came. Terrible service. We had to wait an hour to eat because they accidentally made us the wrong pizza and had to make us another one. They never apologized for the mistake. They never checked on us or asked us if we wanted or needed anything, except one time within the hour and a half that we were there. The place was dead with only one other family there. Then they tried charging me $ 9 something for some tea and didn’t offer to give us a discount or an apology for their mistakes. Seriously disappointed.

Do not go to this location unless you want terrible customer service! I went there today with my husband and two children. We decided to do the pizza buffet and the manager told us we had ten minutes to eat and then leave. What kind of customer service is that? Then she had the audacity to scold my three year old for picking up the oregano. Seriously. And on top of everything the food was cold, the pasta salad was disgusting and the server dropped the check right after bringing our drinks never even asking how we were doing. If you want to eat nasty food with some nasty lady yelling at your kids this is the place for you, otherwise avoid like the plague!

Favorite Deep Dish pizza in the area. Nice that they have their own parking lot too.

New Year’s Day this hungover girl was needing carbs, cheese, and grease A.S.A.P! I did a Unilocal search for nearby deep dish and this place came up. Very, very hesitant to order from here because of the purported moldy pasta, but at that point, I was like F it! I will eat mold if it saves me. LoL. I ordered a small deep dish with pepperoni and sausage and was quoted one hour for delivery. True to their delivery time, the dude shows up with a piping hot delicious piece of… hey boy, heyyy! My first impression was… wow, lots of cheese and enough sauce, yay! Usually a deep dish pizza joint lacks one or the other. The ratio was on point. I took a bite and was seriously surprised. Just as good and Giardano’s, a stuffed pie, just like them. Different than Lou’s, and definitely better, I have to give it to Edwardo’s. I’m in love. This just goes to show me… give a place a chance even though they may have a terrible review that stands out. I’ve had a few boyfriends that were awarded chances even though their exes hated their guts. Same concept. Go!

I am a big fan of Edwardo’s. In fact I used to work at the Oak Park location when I was 16 years old! It’s a very cozy, family, friend environment. I love their bbq chicken pizza and the chicken pesto salad. I also know from working there that it is a very clean orginazed business!

Pizza is delicious! The crust is slightly thinner than Giordano’s but still great. We ordered the deep dish with spinach and onion. These pies are huge. Whenever we have guests from out-of-state we always get deep dish pizza. Everyone that has tried it loves it!

Here is the breakdown: 1. Gluten free pizza 2. Delivery is available 3. Dessert is OK 4. Staff are friendly 5. Parking available 6. Food is always piping warm/hot when arrives from delivery 7. Prices are reasonable other than the gluten free pizza 8. Gluten free pizza is one size only 9. I would definitely come back and eat here 10. This mode of review is easier on my brain and easier for you to read. It saves you my attempt at humor ;) That is all.

I ordered the ravioli but asked for pesto sauce instead of marinara… it’s like God came down from heaven and spit gold in my mouth. Delicious delicious gold. I love that it also came with a side salad and piece of garlic bread. It was like two meals for the price of one. Also I ordered this from grubhub, and it got to my front door within 20 minutes. Ordered here for the second time. I would have given them 4stars for the stuffed pizza the first time. My mistake was to order something else this time around. I ordered a calzone for my daughter, she dislikes stuffed pizza. The calzone came with a side of pasta salad. Yay my favorite first bite tasted funny but thought I bit into an olive that I don’t like, going for the second bite and I see mold!!! Totally messed up my dinner and couldn’t eat anymore. I called to speak to a manger Mike he was very defensive told me it wasn’t mold and he’s been making the pasta salad himself for 30 years and he’s not just the manger but the owner too. I make pasta salad myself and never tasted like this one and I exclude the mold and I’m not Chef Ramsey. I told him that I wasn’t calling for anything in return that I just wanted him to check and pull the pasta so no one else gets a moldy pasta or gets sick. Unbelievably rude and defensive when I wasn’t asking for anything it’s not like he went to check while I was on the phone he just immediately got defensive. Ughhh never again! Not even if I liked their stuffed pizza. I’ve been in management for 20 years had he been courteous and sympathetic I would have probably not written this review.

Best stuffed pizza, hands down. Never had a problem with service, & the owners are always really friendly. I’ve never had any of the other entrees because I come here just for the pizza. Soups and salads are good, too. Dining room is very clean. Awesome place

Delivery was 45 minutes late and the food was colder than room temperature. I called to complain about the cold food and when the delivery driver found out I complained he called me back and started yelling at me and said it was my fault because my name was not on my buzzer(despite the fact that he had the address and my phone number and apparently rang the doorbell for 45 minutes before thinking to call me). When I called the store at 6831 W North Ave to complain about their delivery driver yelling at me he told me, «sometimes people go crazy.» That was about it, would give it negative stars if possible.

Been driving by this place around 1:45PM for a long time seeing the«Lunch Buffet — $ 6.9511A-2P» sign and thinking«I gotta check that out sometime — but earlier in the day!» Well, my chance finally came and I stopped in shortly after they opened on a Monday. My immediate first impression was«not impressed» — it was kind of a dreary looking place showing its age, though kept up OK. Then Brittany(not sure if the spelling is right — seen that name spelled a 1,000 ways) greeted me with a friendly smile, I picked a spot to sit and headed to get some food. The buffet offered a decent sized salad bar with a number of options, minestrone soup, a pasta(farfalle) which was OK, but somewhat non-descript, garlic bread the way I like it(soft and garlicky) and 4 average sized pizzas — one deep dish and three thin crust. Overall, it’s not a huge buffet — but it IS a nice sized buffet for the size of the restaurant. And what’s more important(albeit I was there on the early side), they kept it stocked proactively — didn’t see anything running out. Bottomless soda also included. The pizza was good. Lots of stretchy cheese. Not a lot of spices, though the tables are filled w/oregano and pepper flakes and Brittany saw to it that I received some grated parmesan which was right out of the fridge. Honestly, there are other varieties of pizza that I prefer a bit more, but pizza is such a matter of taste. The bottomline is that for $ 7.58 with tax plus tip, this is a hard deal to pass up. Plus — Brittany was a pleasure to have as a waitress — she seemed to do everything with a smile, which is so refreshing to see in an industry that needs pleasant people. Her positive attitude and the proactive restocking is what gets this place a solid four stars.

I guess everyone has to try the famed deep dish pizza when in Chicago. There is an abundance of suggested places and establishments all claiming to have the best deep dish pizza. We were in Oak Park and looking for lunch and why pizza seemed like a natural thought process. Edwardo’s had good ratings and we decided to try this chain. The restaurant is typical décor of Italian restaurants pizzeria. Nothing fancy here. The menu had the typical Italian American dishes but we were here to try the deep dish pizza! The waitress was friendly and quick to take our order of Edwardo’s Special stuffed pizza. Now I am use to the thin crust of NYC pizza. This pizza like if thin crust and Neapolitan pizza had a baby. I definitely enjoyed it. The crust was not to bready and the fillings was oozing with cheese, onions, sausage, mushrooms and green peppers. This is one hearty pizza and filling to say the least. I can’t say I’m a deep dish pizza expert. What I can say yes, it was pretty darn good. Won’t have to eat dinner now but I think I’ll stay with the NYC thin crust but I am probably biased.

We had a friend in from out of town who wanted a deep dish pizza. This is our favorite place for getting them so this is the place that we chose. We had our usual pepperoni, onion and black olive and it was wonderful as always! We usually have the mozzarella sticks and we added the bruchetta since there were more of us. The mozzarella sticks there are really good. They aren’t over breaded and they don’t taste frozen. The servers are always very friendly. The pizza is huge, I have never had a dessert due to that fact.
