I had the local(corn beef, lettuce tomato triple decker) with Swiss cheese and Onion rings. Man was it Good. Hot and fresh, just wish I ate it their instead of driving 10min home, Onion rings got cold but the sandwich was worth it and Good.

We eat here(delivery) weekly… I don’t get where these other people are coming from?! The owners and staff are so friendly and they have a quick delivery service with tons of options for great sandwiches, lots of salads, soups chicken tenders, shrimp, hotdogs and even burgers. Honestly, everything I’ve had is great, and I have tried most all on the menu. I love my Reuben, the BLT, and best chicken fingers ever.

This place had a lot of hype from my friends and co workers, but now I just know that they’re idiots. Also, I’m an idiot for going here. The place was lacking in space, really cramped walkway with small tables. Ordered the #1 with fries and a drink. Cost me 16 $. WHAT? I said to myself to just give it a go and that it probably comes with a pot of gold for 16 $. Nope, no pot of gold, no leprechaun to slap the sense into me, and no flavor in the sandwich at all. I mean it tasted like a dry cardboard sandwich if that’s what you call flavor. But for 16 bucks, it should be freaking delicious. All that happened was that I paid 16 bucks and drove from afar to eat a dry crappy sandwich and walk out with disappointment. If this place is serious about being a good deli, change your prices. That sandwich was worth maybe a third the price and they know it. Thanks for taking my hard earned money for cheap overpriced food.

Not even 5 days ago I picked up a menu for this place at the local party store. I love delivery so it made me happy for some place new. It said it was open on Sunday, but when I called it wasn’t open. So, I finally ordered food this afternoon from them and when was told my total I was kinda shocked. I ordered a salad, a sandwich, soup, and a drink and it was $ 30. So, it got here and I checked my receipt and the prices didn’t match up. The prices on my menu were not the prices they charged me plus, there was a $ 5 delivery fee, which I find insane for a place that is seriously a little over 3 miles away. No one told me about the price change that had«apparently happened over the weekend» or the extreme delivery charge. Hey, if you tell me then I’m okay with it. So, after I got my order and called to complain about the price difference and the fact I didn’t get my side of tarter sauce or chips that were suppose to come with my sandwich the lady told me next time I would order the delivery would be free. She was nice and understanding. I wasn’t calling to yell or anything just to let her know this was happening and other people probably wouldn’t be so nice. She was nice and told me that next time the delivery would be on them. That made me happy. I ate my lunch and was undecided about it. Yes, it was good, but was my sandwich worth $ 10??? No, I think not. I ordered their fish sandwich and it was apparent that it was just a frozen piece of fish. It was nothing special for sure not worth being charged $ 9.99 and I only got a pickle with it. My boyfriend had decided he wanted one of the sandwiches for dinner and we ordered from there again. I called back and placed my order, then told the man that the woman said my delivery charge would be waved, he asked why, i tried to explain, he said ok next time no, then i tried to explain more since he cut me off, and he said ok well I’m busy cutting me off while I was talking. Seriously? Rude? Come to find out he is the owner. The delivery guy said he was rude and he doesn’t know how to talk to people. So, we got our food and ended up finding a huge hair in our Russian dressing. I finally decided to call back and complain about it basically saying we will not be returning costumers and it was bad!!! The owner answered and was even rougher than the first time! He repeatedly cut me off, yelled at me, wouldn’t let me finish talking, and basically didn’t care about my complaint. This is not a place I would like to give my money and neither should you. Business owners should never talk to customers the way that i got talked to especially when I wasn’t yelling or raising my voice. Customer service is key. To tell the customer I’m sorry, but you can’t please everyone is not a good thing to say. So, believe me I will not tell anyone to eat your food, maybe as an owner learn how to talk to customers or just people in general!

Not sure if the people who have provided bad service are gone now but the service was impeccable. Everyone greeted me from the owner to the cashier & even the cook. I’m rating them a 3 because I hate inconsistency in franchises & The Press I ordered at this location was nothing compared to the 7 mile location(weird, I know). It lacked seasoning. I may give them another shot but who knows.

This place has good food, but shitty service. My mom’s boyfriend ordered from here, and he did not hear his phone go off when they got to our apartment. Apparently, the guy had been waiting for 10 minutes. He insisted that he had to go into our apartment and check my mom’s bfs phone. I don’t even think that’s legal! Anyways, the food is good though.

Excellent food and service from the owner himself. I ordered the Front Page Special(#1 Ruben with coleslaw) it was juicy, stacked with corned beef, and overall delicious!!! I will definitely be back.

We walk in to an employee sitting on the food counter– on her phone. When I go up to the counter, I have to wait for her to stop texting to place my order. Then she calls her friend and puts her phone on SPEAKER. While my delicious sandwich was being made I also had the delight to listen to her conversation about her rich, rachet friend. Why was their no management to stop this?! Awful.

We’ve ordered from Front Page Deli a couple times lately. I’ve tried the #9 Detroiter(grilled chicken with lettuce, tomato, melted cheddar cheese, and ranch on an onion roll) and the #10 Business(turkey-pastrami, lettuce, tomato, Swiss cheese, and mustard on rye bread). They were both delicious! I got #10 in a «you pick 2» deal, where you get the option of ¼ lb sandwich(Junior), side salad, or soup. I ordered the chicken noodle soup with the #10, which was great. The Junior size was plenty as it was still a hearty deli sandwich. The only downfall about this place for us is that our office is relatively close by, but they still charge $ 5 to deliver. If we could leave the office during work, I’d just go get it. But if we want to eat here, we have to pay and extra $ 5 to get it delivered.

Kinda rude to people of another race, went in a while ago got two sandwiches asked for extras on one was charged almost 30+ bucks. Then a couple kids who happened to be same race as people working there place an order for one sandwich no extras, they got their made first didn’t their be a sigh and glare while ordering and didn’t get charged. Then when another man same race as me came in and ordered she sighed as glared it took 5 mins to make that boys sandwich that had cooked items on it min took 25 mins it was cold with cold meats on it and they put two tiny sliced pieces of meat on my sandwich when I ordered and paid for heavy meat of three different types of meat… And this isn’t the worst part not the price or the racist treatment but she ha the nerv to ask me what did I mean I want turkey on it.

Too expensive. Cole slaw tastes like nothing. Meat is sliced WAY too thick, and barely any dressing is used(asking for more costs extra). I won’t be back.

Not the worst place I’ve ever been but they screwed up our order twice. I didn’t get sport peppers on my Chicago dog but ate it anyway, no big deal. But my co-worker ordered a #4 no cheese. Right on the menu it says sandwiches come with chips and a pickle. She did not receive either and her sandwich arrived with cheese on it. When she called back the woman said«oh, I know we didn’t put chips in there.» Ok? Then they deliver the order again and this time there’s no cheese AND no mustard. She had to use some yellow mustard out of the fridge. Still no pickle. I also ordered a Greek salad and when I just opened it, realized there were no Garbanzo beans. This experience keeps getting worse and worse.

I’m surprised the ratings are so low for this place. I stopped to grab a sandwich from here on my way home from work this past Monday. I got the pastrami reuben. It tasted outstanding. Half pound of meat on buttered toasted rye, cole slaw and 1000 island/russian dressing. I’ll definitely be back. They serve the sandwiches with homemade potato chips which were decent. However, the portion size was tiny.

Excellent food and service. Not sure why there are so many haters out there. They are nice, fast, and super friendly. They took the time to know our names and get to know us. Yes, they aren’t a traditional Jewish deli(like Bread Basket or Star Deli) so I really don’t think there is a direct logical comparison between the two deli types. They have a lot of unique sandwiches and options for cole slaw versus sauerkraut(which many don’t care for). The option of having sweet potato sides is great alternative when trying to cut down on starches. In short, they are awesome.

I was on this side of town for work, and I was STARVING. Not wanting to hit up the local drive thru, I saw this place and figured I would give it a shot. Place is VERY clean!!! Very nice to see. Huge drink selection. Lots of bottled faygo and snapple! When you walk in, there is a HUGE picture board with all of the sandwiches. Very nice. I ordered a «Front Page». Corned Beef, cole slaw, russian dressing and swiss cheese. I got a Junior and it was more than enough! I actually asked if I was give a regular by mistake. Corned Beef was nice and tender. Grilled bread was good too. Nice touch to the sandwhich was the side of homemade kettle chips. They could use some salt or seasoning, but they are still very nice. If I am in the area again I will check it out. I’d like to try a pastrami next time!

Average food, terrible customer service. They made an honest mistake with our order. I called to inform them of their error and the owner argued with me about whose mistake it was. I know what we ordered and I know I didn’t get it. Even if you think I was mistaken, you should adhere to the«The customer is always right» motto instead of risking losing a customer. I hope it was worth it for him to win the argument.

Worth driving by. Had a 6; Pastrami, Swiss, coleslaw, Russian dressing. It cost a cold hard $ 9, and that was 5 dollars too many. It wasn’t unbearable or disgusting but just… perfectly average. The pastrami was tough, and for $ 9 not nearly the quality you would expect. The coleslaw lacked all flavor and the dressing was too ketchupy. Not a fan and I will not be returning. I’ll stick to Als/Bread Basket.

Here is the short version: go somewhere else. The details: Have you ever sat and stared in disbelief at the lackluster execution of a seemingly simple task. When it happens to me my mouth hangs open and I drool-looking, I’m sure, like a troglodyte. Thankfully this is a rarely used mask in my box of expressions. But I managed to wear it twice today. ATTHESAMERESTAURANT!!! How did this happen? Well, I just left an overpriced barber shop(that I’ll be reviewing later) in Oak Park with a monster hunger. And being the stereotyping a$$ that I can be, I think of grabbing a corned beef sandwich. It is Oak Park for Christ’s sake(wait, can I say that?) Anyway, the Front Page Deli is in the same strip mall as overpriced black-rics. It was a home run I thought. A high and tight fade and a sandwich-all with the same parking space! I should have drove over to Bread Basket or Star Deli. The trivial amount of gas my CRV uses would have been a worthy investment. Alas, my cheap side won and my mouth and stomach lost. What a bummer. Front page offers a neutral décor of plastic and wallpaper. Nothing fancy, but it was clean, cool and quiet. We(«Toofastfordadtounderstand» and«Mr. Handsome») had a conversation without competing with the television or radio. Nice. Ordering was easy. The menu boards are large and well laid out. So despite their use of unique sandwich names, reading the descriptions went quickly. It only took a few moments for me to land at the Classified-corned beef, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing, served hot on rye. «One Classified for here please», I firmly state(sure in my decision). Miss«Toofastfordadtounderstand» and Mr. «Handsome» both ordered the Metro-rare roast beast(a plug for the Grinch) with Swiss, veggies, and Italian dressing, served cold on an onion roll. The sandwiches came with chips and a «new» pickle. I could go on and on about about the Classified but my face is still frozen into a drool spewing blank sheet. Kidding. Almost. The meat was fatty and tasteless. The bread? Just not Star Deli-ish. Likewise, the kids thought their Metro’s were«okay». Good for them. I think they tasted like«shaved» roast beef lunch meat subs from Wal-Mart. I wore the mask for the again when I tasted the«new» pickle. I refused to eat it. The sandwich was bad. The pickle just plain sucked. Bad! Funny, because the kids loved the pickles. Must be like«new math». Kids get it, grownups don’t. Was their a bright spot? There were a few. The service and the soda selection were good. In addition to the usual Pepsi products by fountain, they offered BOTTLED Pepsi and Faygo. And lastly, the chips. Wow! Thick cut crispy pieces of fried love. The chips made me take off the mask and find a couple of stars to give Front Page Deli.
