Nothing wrong with this place but odd location. It is in a old office building that is run down and has a different spa name on the door. The massage was nice not the best I ever had but not bad in anyway. The girl was nice and it was a groupon so I am happy. I am just used to a relaxing area after a massage to drink water and chill in. They have none, nor do they offer water or tea. If I am in the area I would be back but I would not drive out of my way for it. I will stick to Birmingham and get a little more pampered.

I bought a Groupon for this place a couple of weeks ago and scheduled my boyfriend and I a couples massage this past Saturday. It was a little rough getting an appointment time that was convenient for the two of us, but once we did, we were pleasantly surprised. I have to admit, it was a little rough around the edges. We were nervous walking in the building because it was a little run-down. But once we got in, everything went uphill from there. The therapists were well-versed in knowledge about what would be good for the body. I was completely at-ease the entire time. This was my boyfriend’s first professional massage, so he had a great time too. Overall, I would definitely recommend this place for first-timers, or those that are not looking to spend too much but get what your money is worth. There are nicer places out there, for sure. But if you’re looking for something low-key and affordable, this is your spot.

I bought my girlfriend and I vouchers for Le Serenity through living-social and we thought it would be an awesome relaxing couples day. We were wrong. First they told us we couldn’t do a couples massage, one of us would get a pedicure while the other got their massage and then we’d switch. While we weren’t psyched about it we were willing to go with the flow. The night before our appointments the spa called to say that we had to schedule our pedicures separately… Then when I asked about doing a couples massage(since we were being inconvenienced by each of us having to wait an hour and then have to come back later to get the pedicures) the receptionist rudely said she’d she if there was another massage therapist available then hung up on me. We ended up canceling our appointments and refunding our vouchers. Without even stepping foot through the door, our experience was a nightmare and I would never recommend a spa that is not concerned with the happiness of their guests.
