I was skeptical about the location, so I asked my husband to go with me. I was right, the spa is not at the best location (8 Mile and Greenfield). I must say besides the location, I am very satisfy with the front desk person — Mimi and my massage therapists — Juanita. they are both super nice! I had a good massage. There was no sales pitch afterwards as well. That — I really like. If this spas is at a better location, it would have been a 5 stars.

Scheduling with this spa is insane. I had scheduled an appointment and when I called back to confirm, they said it was not in their schedule book. They also call you from a 248 number but have you call them back at a 313 number that they never pick up. The massage was ok, one lady I had was coughing and had a runny nose and sneezing. You can imagine how «hygienic» I thought that to be. I don’t recommend this spa for a romantic couples massage. Good thing I had a groupon for it, as I would not have spent full price for a massage there.

I agree with the other reviews, the location isn’t the most inspiring. The building is the furthest south on the west side of Greenfield just north of 8 Mile. When you see the guard desk in the building you do have some reservations. However, I have to say my massage therapist, named Alyssia, was very good. She was skilled and really focused on what areas I told her were hurting. I use both exercise & massage as my form of stress relief, if I’m lucky it’s in that order. But I’m currently under a lot of stress and so I’ve had 2 massages with Alyssia in the past 2 months and I have already scheduled a 3^rd.
My experiences have been better than the other reviewers, but it seems that it depends entirely on who you schedule to do the massage.

I made the huge mistake of buying a Groupon on impulse and made an even bigger mistake by giving it as a gift. The spa is actually at a slightly different address than the one listed on Unilocal — it is on the sixth floor of 20 755 Greenfield in an old, creepy office building close to 8 Mile (in Southfield, not Oak Park). My husband said this was the worst massage he’s ever gotten. He couldn’t believe how amateur is was; it was as if the massage therapist (still unsure what gender s/​he was) made it up as s/​he was going along. At least the staff was pleasant.

I don’t like to leave bad reviews for anyone, but the massage I received here was so terrible, I felt I had to say something! I have never been so tense through a massage ever — but it got to the point that I was afraid of what she was going to do to me next! I would have loved to have seen my face during the massage, because all I kept thinking was Good God, when is this going to be over with?!? I became so tense throughout the massage that it has a reverse-​effect on me, I didn’t leave relaxed at all! I was waiting for someone to say «Surprise your on Candid-​Camera»! because I honestly couldn’t beleive how bad it was (and I get massages on a monthly basis, so I think I am a pretty good gauge of what a good massage SHOULD be like). Stay away — the massage is terrible and the neighborhood is just as bad!
