Live Fresko

After Caribou Coffee moved from the corner where Live Fresko is, it seemed that corner was cursed. If my mind serves me correct, there was another establishment that moved in and then closed its doors. Maybe I’m recalling a dream. But Live Fresko is definitely a plus.
I had a cappuccino and Greek yogurt with orange slices and chocolate chips. The cappuccino was very much like any cappuccino you get at any brand name coffeehouse. The yogurt was a delight. The orange slices, chocolate chips, and drizzle of honey were all that were needed to balance out the yogurt.
Next time I am in Oak Park, I shall have to return and sample some of the fruit juices, smoothies, and other yogurts. I hope this establishment stays on the landscape for a long time.

The words cool hip fresh healthy come to mind…
Stopped in here in between errands, STARVING… Usually I make poor choices when I’m hungry :/​. Although they had cookies (Hubby got one) Live Fresko didn’t allow me to do that!
I had a wonderful beet kale smoothie, and a quinoa bowl, which didn’t disappoint!
I only wish I lived closer to this spot.

Great fresh juices I love the combo with beet juice it give me lots of mommy energy… Recently moved from the neighborhood and I honestly miss this place… The owners are really nice and down to earth guys too very friendly.

Great ambiance and cool café. The music is great and I enjoyed my organic coffee!

I’ve been coming here since the day they opened and every time I receive great service and amazing products. I started coming here for their juices but ever since I have tried most of their menu Items (Smoothies, Greek Yogurt, Quinoa bowls, Salads, Soups, organic coffee) and I haven’t found something that I didn’t like. I love this place I’m hooked and every time I walk out of there I feel better and healthier. I highly recommend it to everyone that is looking for a healthier alternative in the junk food corporate word.

I’ve been coming to Live Fresko since it first opened and I am never disappointed. So many yummy healthy options as well as indulgences from friendly and knowledgeable staff. My favorites include the dark chocolate, mint, and orange yogurt, the Detox smoothie, the spinach and feta tart, and the decadent Nutella hot chocolate.
Recently a group that I’m part of had an event and Live Fresco set us up with an amazing juice tasting of two of their most popular juices. It was a guilt-​free and tasty treat and everyone was eager to have more than a tasting. I would highly recommend them for catered events.

Just like the name states, this place is all about fresh. From the deliciously thick yogurt to the amazing coffee and ham and cheese pies, I loved this place. It is a little bit on the more expensive side of things, but when the food is good and the staff friendly, a dollar or two won’t really bother someone. We’ve become regulars and look forward to going each time.

I’ve been to Live Fresko a few times so I consider myself a regular. I have tried pretty much everything on the menu. My favorite is the Cacao smoothie and the Go Bananas Greek yogurt. The owner Telly is knowledgeable about his products and he is a hands on business operator which makes the service great. I am glad this place is in Oak Park and I hope they stay around for a long time!

Great smoothies and Greek yogurt!!!

My name is Patricia and i just wanted to say that E-​3Live is so amazing and their soups and the customer service is awesome also the E3Live has given me energy and clear mind and all around great feeling.

Wonderful place, the smoothies are fantastic and refreshing, especially loved the Goji smoothie. They have a great selection of juices and fresh salads and Greek yoghurt. And def try the spinach pie and cinnamon buns, it will make your day!!! The interior is amazing as well, modern and relaxed. Great place to get good food and drinks before exploring Oak Park’s wonders.

I’m a big fan of Fresko! I’ve tried their Excel and Detox juice. I drank the Detox juice before bed and felt greatly refreshed the next day. I’ve also had their Flax and Chia smoothies, and just yesterday tried their Hemp smoothie. Again, I was not let down! As a Dietetics student and college athlete I’m always looking for something that is tasty yet healthy, which is usually hard to find nowadays. However, Fresko is exactly that! It’s great knowing what I’m consuming is not only satisfying to the taste buds, but good for my body and free of any non-​natural substances.
Alongside that, workers are very friendly and helpful in regards to how each drink tastes and works. This makes it easier to decide because they help you find what you are looking for.
I took someone with me yesterday to try it for the first time and whole ride back he would not stop talking about how good the Cacao smoothie was. He tried my Hemp smoothie and said he was definitely going to come back for that, soon! You can’t not love it your first time!
Ultimately, Fresko is a place I’d love to see expand! I hope to see more locations in the future!

Love everything about Fresko! I have tried almost everything on the menu. Everything is so delicious! The raw juices and smoothies are all made with natural ingredients. I add wellness shots for an extra boost!
Their greek yogurt tastes just like it does in Greece… you can’t get better than that! So many different toppings to choose from… what a great way to get your probiotics in!
The coffee is the best! My favorite is the Freddo fresco and my sons is the Nutella hot chocolate… and yes it’s amazing!
The owners and the staff are so nice and pleasant! They treat you like family and that has me going back!

I frequent this place whenever I’m passing through Oak park or working construction in the area. Cool little spot with unique decore with a solid selection of healthy smoothies and snacks to start your day. I try to sample something new with every visit but I always leave with my strawberry smoothie. Amazing to say the least!
Decore–
Happy colors and positive energy from the artificial grass growing up the counter to the hand drawn chalk artwork on the walls. The lights that hang down are vintage bulbs inside of mason jars. Nerve seen that so I thought that was pretty cool.
Staff–
Very friendly and all smiles. They made some pretty good recommendations when I was a little unsure on what I wanted to try.
Environment–
Very laid back. Plenty of seats available to sit or just play around on a laptop. I believe seating is available outside during nice weather so that nice for spring/​summer.
Worth a visit if in the neighborhood.

We swung by on a hot summer day, in need of a quick refresher or appetizer before our planned dinner spot opened. So we ended up here!
We were stuck between ordering the Dark Orange, versus the Greek yogurt featuring nutella and bananas. I figured… when ever do you see orange in a dessert, right?
OMG! this was mindblowing, and completely took me by surprising. It was heaven topped with dark chocolate morsels/​powder, oranges, and mint, drizzled with honey. It was a perfect combination. So unique, and not one I think I’ve ever found elsewhere. It was definitely a sharing size (about $ 6 for it), but definitely good for two. I can’t rave enough over how amazing this treat was! BTW… you can drizzle yourself more honey.
It’s got itsself an ecclectic little organic vibe in this café, decorated with artificial grass wallpaper. But you know they feature some organic, granola, local, fresh and friendly ingredients here. It’s a definite gem, and I’d so recommend anyone to try! I know I’ve really only had one treat, but it was definitely one I wouldn’t forget, and worth going out of my way for!

Very pricey. So many ingredients in each drink that it kind of tastes like a indescribable generically sweet liquid with some unexpected leafy chewy bits. Only one size available which is too large for me, so I’ll probably end up throwing about half of this out (which sucks since I just paid like $ 7 for it).
The ambiance of this place is weird. It looks like they started with an industrial theme then remembered they had this whole natural thing going on so decided to throw some of that in, with loud music in the background so that it makes it feel like Tesla discovered rave in the middle of his Grateful Dead phase (if you think that analogy makes no sense, then I have perfectly captured the look). There are Edison bulbs covered with Ball jars, metal chairs, wood embellishments painted in an attempt to appear distressed, a green mural that looks like something you’d see at Whole Foods (complete with «our produce is derived from nature… not in a lab» slogan), and the countertops are fronted with AstroTurf. If it weren’t for the out-​of-​place music it might be sort of nice, if not a little cliché.
But ultimately it’s the drink and lack of value that makes me want to rate it as «meh». I might come back for an iced chai sometime but that’s about it.

What’s better than a café? A café that has more than just coffee and tea (and free wifi). Live Fresko has fresh juices, smoothies, and health-​conscious nibbles.
You haven’t had a frappé until you’ve had one from Fresko. It is drinking a cup of heavenly foam.
I love that I can add wheat grass, maca root, and raw cacao to my smoothies and juices. What’s more, I watch them make it fresh in front of me.
When I’m hungry, I grab a quinoa bowl. There are about four different kinds of salads in which the primary ingredient is quinoa.
The service at Fresko is amazing. Telly is there every time I go and he remembers my name and email address for their reward program so that I don’t have to tell him every time. It makes me feel as if he cares and values my business.

Stopped in while on a walk for some Greek Yogurt. I got the «German Engineered» bowl. Raisins, whole Greek yogurt, nuts, honey, orange juice and bananas, It was delicious and filling. Only downside: a bit pricey (yogurt and a shot of espresso was almost $ 10.00), but that’s to be expected when in downtown Oak Park.
I will definitely return.

Got a pretty legit wheatgrass smoothie here at a pretty decent price. They use a lot of organic ingredients which is awesome.

This is a preliminary review. I’ll update it after I try one of the smoothies or fresh juices for which they are most famous. I also need to try more of their food menu, though after my first visit I’m a bit reluctant to.
My experience with Live Fresko so far: one mushroom and swiss savory tart and a hemp blondie. Unfortunately, both of them were dreadfully under-​salted. The tart had so little flavor it was difficult to choke down.
The service was good and friendly, and it’s a comfortable store to sit and relax. The WiFi worked well enough. Good location. I’ll be back for sure.
