Knowledgeable but not pretentious people. Great selection of juices, smoothies and shots. I have my faves everyone I visit — shot of Wheatgrass, bust a move(tumeric, lemon, ginger) and Kokomo smoothie. Open every day except sunday. It’s the boost I need when in that in between stage– when not feeling well but not feeling sick. Great clean place. Made to order so have a little patience. Glad they are here. They are the only juice place I can find in the area that has wheatgrass. Don’t ever change or move.

A juicery attached to a plant nursery. Cool. Awesome freshness. Awesome selection. Awesome service. Juices and smoothies only. They give these cool and handy plastic bottles if u want it in a bottle too. I like this place a lot and will frequent often now that I have to lose some belly fat. One juice or smoothie and a shot of wheatgrass… Perfect combo for a nice lunch replacement for my new dieting system plan.

I was visiting Chicago and happened yo be in the Forest Park vicinity. I was looking for an off beat coffee place or juice bar and The Juice Joint popped up on Unilocal! The reviews and photos drew me in and am VERY glad. Very inviting place with a great menu selection. VERY reasonable prices and cheerful owners and staff :) Its new so I encourage EVERYONE in the neighborhood to support their endeavor and enjoy some amazing, healthy juices and smoothies. I tried the«addicted to love» juice and the«wild thing» smoothie. Both of them were perfect. This may sound like a patronizing review but trust me I did not know these people prior to stumbling upon this gem. I live in DC area and if and when I visit Chicago again I shall be sure to stop by! Try it for yourself once and you will be hooked or like their menu — addicted to love!

Very nice, clean, peaceful place(no blaring music). I got a green juice, think it was called Forever Young — extremely good with a little kick to it. Very pleasant people to chat with while they are making your fresh juice. I am on day 3 of their juice cleanse. All the juices are tasty especially the cashew milk I normally make my own juices at home, but sometimes I just don’t have the time or inclination to do so, it is a lot of work(cleaning up is the worst). I will probably become a regular oh you also get a punch card too. If you are looking for a good juice place be sure to stop in here, you won’t be sorry — they also make smoothies.

Such a hidden gem!!! I drive past this nursery everyday but just discovered the juice bar inside last week! I Unilocaled juice bars figuring I would only finds the few in oak park and this one came up. We tried it out and have been back several times since!!! I wish their menu was a little larger, but the juice is fresh and delicious. Price is right in line with other juice bars $ 7 – 9 a juice. Will definitely be back often.

This is a great place — definitely good to stop in, grab a smoothie and then head out for errands, etc. I love«hungry like the wolf» — but others are tasty, too! Staff is always nice and come find you to hand you your drink if you are browsing at nearby greenhouse. Try it! Ask for a punch card…

If you live anywhere near River Forest and you’ve never been to The Juice Joint, then you need to rectify that mistake immediately and pay a trip there ASAP. This lovely little smoothie/juice place is rather small and unassuming. In fact, it’s connected to a greenhouse(which I believe is called Good Earth). The times that I’ve been here, I’ve enjoyed exploring the different flowers and plants for sale while sipping on my fresh, healthy smoothie. The drink menu is basically divided into juices and smoothies. I haven’t tried any of the juices yet because that’s not necessarily my thing, but I probably should because if anything could change my mind on that, it would be Juice Joint. The smoothies, which come in either a small or large size, have plenty of different combinations. I like that there are different types of milks, you can add kale or spinach or protein powder to any smoothie for an extra cost to give an additional boost. My favorite so far has been the Brass Monkey, which is almond butter, dates, cocoa nibs, and a few more delicious ingredients that are slipping my mind at the moment. All I know is it’s perfection. I haven’t tried a single smoothie here I didn’t fall in love with. One of these smoothies will let you go many hours without having to eat and they’re healthy to boot. So, what are you waiting for? Go.

Love starting the day with a fun named juice in a gorgeous greenhouse. Jenny makes a delicious cappuccino too. Really like when there’s outdoor seating too.

Hands down the best juice in the Chicagoland area– and the best, most accommodating staff who really care about quality. Juicing has completely changed my life. After watching«Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead» I was determined to give juicing a shot. At first I was making all my own juices at home. Soon it was taking over all my time – (wash, chop, juice, clean on repeat)– not to mention it was so expensive to purchase so much produce and lots was wasted. Other juice bars and store bought juices did not match the freshness and quality of my homemade juices… enter THEJUICEJOINT! The juice at The Juice Joint surpasses any homemade juice by a long shot. It’s fresh, delicious, and made with the highest quality ingredients. They don’t cut corners by diluting with high-water fruits and veggies. The cleanse is AMAZING and will leave you feeling refreshed and energized– not depleted like other cleanses. Finally, the staff care so much about maintaining the freshness of the juices that they really work with your schedule for pick up times. They don’t want their precious juices sitting in your fridge for days on end! This really shows how passionate and knowledgable they are. I LOVE The Juice Joint and would recommend it to juicing novices and experts, alike.

I love this place. It is a great little spot with hand crafted fresh smoothies and juices with a relaxed and beautiful atmosphere(they are attached to a plant nursery). My favorite is the Wild Thing smoothie with kale added in but I have gotten a number of different drinks here and they never disappoint. They have wheatgrass shots and coffee that are certain to help you get through your Mondays. Also, the morning glory cookies are out of control good. You should definitely try one when you come by. They have free wifi and a nice seating area so you can get some work done if you want. They also have a number of games available for customers to play. I personally prefer to sit with my smoothie and play a nice round of bannagrams with my family when we come in. It’s a great little gem in the area. Absolutely worth a visit.

All types of amazing. I had the Kokomo which hit the spot: not too sweet, full of spinach and delicious mango. I will definitely be back!

I truly don’t know what has taken me so long to write a review. The juice joint is my favorite spot. Due to my schedule I can’t make it in daily but when I can, I’m here. The juices and smoothies all taste so good. My wife and I love the brass monkey. This place is a must.

I adore this place! I typically get the roll with the changes which keeps me full until lunch. Their morning glory cookie with dates is also a delicious snack. There are many smoothie and juice options, plus they typically feature seasonal specials. It’s always a delight to stop by here on my mornings before work!

Several people reconvened this place. It’s inside the good earth business. They have a huge selection of juiced and smoothies. I frankly found it hard to decide which one i wanted. I settled on the ‘rock me Amadeus’ mostly because it has the most green ingredients to include a jalapeño. Plus, for $ 8 i wanted to get as much as possible. The drink was really good. I liked the kick the jalapeño gave to the drink. I’ll be back to try some of the others. I also plan on trying some of the smoothies. This seemed a great way to quickly get in some healthiness.

This place was just what I was searching for! I get smoothie cravings every so often – but fast-food smoothies definitely don’t squash my craving. I definitely needed something fresh and healthy. Luckily I was in River Grove(only 10 minutes away) and found this gem on Unilocal(: You’ll see about 5 or so tables set up in front of the register/smoothie area and a large chalkboard menu. I ordered the Wild Thing(banana, blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, plain organic yogurt) with spinach(you also have the option to add kale) and it was super yummy! Definitely can tell all the ingredients are fresh and I don’t believe any sugar was added. The guy at the counter was extremely friendly and explained that many like me, had stopped by today as a result of Unilocal reviews. It was pretty nifty that they used Square(a simple credit card reader) on their iPad and I got to sign my signature with my finger~ :D I attempted to read my book – but seeing as the blenders/juicers are only a couple feet away, the noise level is pretty high. Luckily I had my headphones! Anyway, while I was reading, another worker walked around the tables offering samples of Brass Monkey(hazelnut milk, banana, almond butter, dates, cinnamon, agave) and it was literally PHENOMENAL. Sooooooooooooooo good: P She also told me that Brass Monkey was their best seller! So I highly recommend!(Although I’m usually a fruit smoothie person) The table next to me was a couple and their child – the workers at the café were so sweet and offered the child markers and crayons to color with! Another interesting thing, you can buy flower bouquets on the opposite wall of the register, and there are also automatic doors that connect the café to the greenhouse. They have wifi, but it was locked unfortunately!

After a few hours in the city, I decided to look at my Unilocal bookmarks and see if there were any new places to check out near 290 on my way home. The Juice Joint popped up and, in the mood for a dose of healthy, I headed there by way of Madison Street from Ashland all the way to River Forest. I beat the stand-still traffic on 290, but it wasn’t really the safest-looking street to drive on. Oops? As I drove through River Forest, I kept my eyes peeled for the Juice Joint, thinking it would be tucked into one of the lovely storefronts. It wasn’t. It was surprisingly inside a building with a greenhouse across the street from a cemetery. I parked and walked in, unsure what to expect. The Juice Joint is a little juice bar inside a building marked«Good Earth Café.» I have no idea if they’re the same thing, or if the juice bar is within the café, or what, but yeah. I quickly scanned the awesome 80’s-song-themed menu, and found that prices were pretty good — lower than most juice places actually, which was nice. The café area itself needed some more work, though. There were a couple small tables and a bar near the window, but it almost felt like the greenhouse came first(which is possible) and the Juice Joint was just an afterthought(also possible): a little juicing bar slapped in the front with a few tables with a gift-wrap station and a glass case of flowers beyond it. I wish that this was more like an actual café and not just a little area connected to a greenhouse. Anyway. I ordered Just Like Heaven — almond milk, bananas, dates, almond butter, cinnamon, and agave. Not really a juice, per se, but more like a healthy dessert smoothie. It was smooth and delicious, but not amazing. The almond butter was a bit strong, too. I was a smidge disappointed as I realized after drinking it that I probably should have ordered something with more vegetables in it. Oh well. That’s my fault. I love what they have: nutritious, organic juices and smoothies. And I love that they’re here. But, I wasn’t in love with the Juice Joint, per se. And honestly, because of its’ location, I’m not even sure if I will venture here again. I’m still glad I stopped by. Thumbs up to River Forest for having a juicing joint!

Electric Avenue Today I tried the Electric Avenue. It was fantabulous!!! If you like spicy(I do mean spicy) you need this drink in your life. I do love this place. I wish I either made more money or their prices were more reasonable. If either was true I’d frequent this place everyday. But as is such I go every other month as a treat to me and my son. But I do love the juice and smoothie combination. I haven’t tried a single one that wasn’t simply delicious!!!

***This review is be read in Valley-Girl Speak*** Like, Oh My God! This place is, like, totally bitchin’. Nothing grodie-like about this place fer sure. It’s totally clean and the ladies that work there are like super sweet and super nice. At first, I thought, «Like Oh My God, it’s in a plant nursery!» Like why would I go to a plant nursery for smoothies or juices? But then I thought, well if it’s good enough for like those people that want to grow flowers and stuff, then it must be good for the rest of us, y’know? I’m sure that if this was out in the Valley, then the hot surfers would be here too y’know? Like totally. I love how the names of the smoothies and juices are like, in MY Language, y”know? 80’s song titles. That’s like totally tubular. I mean, who doesn’t love the 80’s? I tried the Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. I was like, no way was this going to be as good as I’ve had when I lived close to a health food store(like my friend Julie’s parent’s owned? Do you know her? they did a bitchin’ movie about her and her hot Hollywood boyfriend Randy. It would totally freak me out to date a guy that was like NOT from the Valley, but they ended up ok). This juice has carrot, apple and ginger. Sooooper fresh. I know people would say«Like barf me out! Ginger?» It totally works. Totally Tripendicular. Like you can trust me, ok? I had them make the Pretty In Pink to go for later(because Molly Ringwald is like totally cool even though she like was so poor she had to like sew her own clothes, I would be like«gag me with a spoon, I am totally NOT going to prom if I had to sew my own clothes). The juice had like, watermelon juice and lemonade and mint. Super cool and I’m sure totally good for you. Like, so refreshing. My totally rad son had the Smooth Operator Smoothie made with organic vanilla yogurt. Bananas and like, strawberries are his faaaaavorites right now so he totally loved this smoothie. I totally want to keep visiting this place y’know? Like my mom is totally into plants and stuff so I might have to bring her here and we can have a nice smoothie or juice here too fer sure. So very cool. Well have fun everyone, must go to the mall!

Good juice at a fair price. I really liked the variety for the juices. Too bad they’re so far away from where I live.
