The seating at this Red Mango is not as good as others. Its a small red mango, it feels like they terribly misused the space provided them. Other than that its an average red mango

This review seriously gets to me since I come to this location religiously once a week! Sunday afternoon and after dinner we usually go to Red Mango for froyo. Well today we can in and employees talking among themselves, froyo toppings all scattered and floors super sticky! Stop talking and get to cleaning! They have had the same flavors for weeks. Came to the register and the young man didn’t even ask if I had a red mango card. We checked out and sat by the bar area. From there I saw the employees texting on their phones on the job and one of the employees placed spoons next to the register where it is dirty full of bacteria and next to money and he proceeded to put them out to the spoon holder. Being in the health care field this is a huge no no! People can seriously get sick from this! They need to seriously have a talk with these employees!

Every red mango has a sugar free option that I’ve ever gone to, that’s why I came here. This one did not have any sugar free froyo. Disappointing. I just ended up getting a iced coffee which was watered down coffee with a bunch of creamer. I asked the girl over the counter to add a bit more coffee and she went to the back and added some more but the color didn’t become darker or anything, still came out really watery… Ugh

What got me, was the 10% off your order with a movie ticket. I went in… I’ve been wanting something frozen, like ice cream, but not. This would be my first time getting Red Mango’s frozen yogurt. I usually stop in at the Red Mango on Dempster in Skokie on my way home. I was expecting the same service. The juices and smoothies are reasonable for what you pay, but I must admit I was taken aback with the $ 2.22 after the 10% off for about ¾ cup of yogurt. I didn’t put any sprinkles or syrups, so I was even more saddened. As for the service, it was after the movie had just let out, so they were busy and there was a new cashier on the counter. She was confident, but a bit stiff. Her trainer was nearby and was«hyped» and set for happy I guess I should know what I’m getting myself into before I step out there.

I love that Red Mango is right next to Lou Malnati’s! I always get the vanilla bean froyo with caramel sauce, chocolate chips, peanuts and strawberries. So delicious! I’ll need to try their juices and smoothies soon one of these days.

I would actually give Red Mango an extra half star. The specialty flavors of frozen yogurt here are very good, but there isn’t as much variety in flavors or toppings as I’ve seen at other frozen yogurt places. However, they also have baked goods and wraps that I haven’t tried yet. It’s a bit on the pricey side, but I’m sure I’ll be back this summer for treats!

Would love this place if only they had a regular dairy free sorbet for my allergic child. Most of the top places in the area consistently have an option for these kids, as there are so many of them with milk allergy. I will continue to go to brown cow or oberweis until they get a machine for a sorbet!

Oak Park is lucky to have gotten this Red Mango, with offerings beyond the brand’s usual frozen yogurts. Their smoothies, beverages, and baked goods are also nice. And it’s a good dining space and convenient location. Friendly counter staff as well.

Good hot chocolate on a cold day, sevice was a little slow the day i went but the upgraded my drink to a bigger size to make up for the wait. Friendly staff. Decent prices for smoothies, teas, and coffees.

Very fun atmosphere right in downtown Oak Park! Great for a last minute frozen yogurt trip, but if you’re looking for reasonable prices and have the time — go somewhere else. The frozen yogurt here isn’t any better than anywhere else. It’s simply more expensive.

Food was fine. Not the issue. The issue was that the young man making my wrap, who was wearing protective plastic gloves, made my wrap, put it in to warm, CHANGEDTHEGARBAGE bag, and removed my wrap. All without changing his gloves. Although my shout of displeasure led the cashier to then handle my food, I fail to see how that helps. The cashier certainly didn’t put on clean gloves, and who knows how many other disgusting things the cook had touched prior to making my sandwich?!? Highly UN recommended. Really really gross.

So good! I can only speak to the frozen yogurt cause that is what I get. Good variety of flavors… some strange ones done time but good variety. Best is white peach!

Red Mango is a good place to go with your family. There is an outside seating area with beautiful plants. The frozen yogurt is delicious, and you can swirl two flavors together. One of us mixed mango and coconut. The other mixed white chocolate and chocolate. Once you get your yogurt(self-serve, so you end up with only how much you want) there are toppings galore. Weigh it and pay it. For two yogurts — one loaded with toppings — we paid about $ 10. Not cheap — but an immensely enjoyable afternoon treat.

We love Red Mango. Very freshly made juice, great smoothies, and an amazing froyo bar. Even when it is busy things move fast and the staff is very friendly. Cannot wait to try their flatbreads.

I was really excited for this place to open! I went there once, and was pretty disappointed though. Their prices are higher than Forever Yogurt or Yogen Fruz. I ended up paying $ 7 for what could’ve been $ 5.50 at one of the other stores. There’s not a very big choice of toppings, which was a let down. One of the best parts is getting to load up on fruit. My friend decided to get a smoothie, which was kind of expensive, and overall not that great. The staff was friendly though, and there was a decent amount of yogurt to choose from. The location was pretty clean– but it is fairly new. Overall, I won’t go out of my way to get Red Mango. I’d probably still go elsewhere, unless friends wanted to come here or something.

I cannot begin to describe how excited I was when I first heard that a frozen yogurt place was coming in. It’s a perfect location, right by places like the movie theater and Lou Malnati’s. Their selection of yogurt is not as extensive as other froyo places I have been to, but the quality of these is wonderful. The toppings bar is great; very clean and fresh. It has anything from cookie dough to raspberries. The place is very clean and bright. Definitely welcoming… the staff are all super friendly. When I was there tonight, a guy who appeared to be the manager was walking around to the parties in the place and asking how their food was, etc. The menu is fairly extensive beyond just yogurt and smoothies. I am very interested in trying the food too.

I was lucky to get a sample out on the street on my way in to work. So I went over for their first day open. Frozen yogurt and topping stations. Also, Fresh squeezed juicing options. John and Tracy are very nice and welcoming. Juice is great and comes in a handy bottle. Décor is really upscale and there is a lot of room to sit both inside and outside. It’s a great addition to Lake Street, especially next to Lou Malnati’s.

A legit fro yo place finally opens its door in oak park, and it happens to be red mango! While I do enjoy other froyo places like forever yogurt and yogurt land, I just seem to enjoy Red Mango more. This place is self-serve like most other fro-yo places, and it seems like they only had about 8 flavors. I tried out the Strawberry and Mango Greek Frozen yogurt and it was heavenly on this warm spring day. Judging by the amount of new trainees running around here, I think this place just opened up yesterday. There were a bunch of kids(employees???)running around in red mango aprons which gave the store a cute, family-friendly vibe. I also noticed Red Mango trying to expand their menu by offering actual meal options. I didn’t really give it too hard of a look considering I’m all about the fro-yo, but maybe I’ll try it sometime.
