I think this is the best location for Pier 1. The manager is always VERY friendly and eager to help. The store is nicely decorated, spacious, and has free parking. Highly recommend!

I love this place! The people here are extremely nice. They politely ask if you need help, but are also happy to let you browse at my own pace. I really dislike it when you go to a store and you feel you are constantly being pressured into buying more things. So I really liked their nice but relaxed attitude. They also packed my stuff extremely carefully, and were very careful about gift receipts. Not to mention, I am SOHAPPY with all the things that I have bought from this store! If you haven’t been there yet, please visit! You will definitely find something worth keeping for a long time. :)

I love pier1 and 90% of my house is decorated from there, but I hate this location. Most locations have employees that are so helpful that you spend twice as much as you planned to but not here. The employees ignore you even when your hands are full of merchandise to purchase. Last time I was here I walked out I was so annoyed with the rude employees and went to the oak brook location!

I really dislike leaving a store and having a feeling that I’ve just been had. Perhaps it was just the mix of folks working this Saturday after Christmas that left such a bad taste in my mouth. Were they friendly? Somewhat. Were they helpful? Yes. But, it felt like I wasn’t their idea of a regular shopper. I was in their store just the week before and saw entirely different employees. The week before they were personable — this week — they just wanted to make a sale. There was no eye contact. They were onto the next thing. Funny they weren’t that busy and there was plenty of staff about so why not relax and enjoy your shoppers like guest. I know I’m dreaming. Not really because I’ve experienced that guest like feeling at other stores and that’s why I choose to return. Perhaps, it was just a bad day… we shall see.

As any other Pier 1 store, it has a lot of stuff crammed in on shelves. Very tight, very crowded. Some of the merchandise seems overpriced and some are nicely discounted. Don’t recommend buying furniture from this chain. Very cheaply made and very expensive. On the positive, the staff/service is nice. However, we won’t shop here again(at any P1I for that matter).

I really love coming here for their scents, especially to try each new scent of the month. Pier 1 is truly my go to spot for all things eccentric, bohemian and eclectic. I’ve bought the Rocksan, couch pillows, a bedroom lamp and so much more. I highly recommend this location because the staff really helps you in every possible way they can. Another great part is Pier 1 sends out awesome coupons to help you save even more without sacrificing design and style for your home.

As far as Pier 1 goes, I suppose this one is decent. My most favorite memory is when an employee called another store to check if they had a picnic basket in stock(they did!). Besides that, there’s nothing to set this store apart from others. Shelves are kept tidy(although crowded). There are always sales. Some merchandise seems overpriced and some are steals! My mom loves their knick knacks. I love their candles. The employees never seem to be the same from visit to visit(or maybe I just don’t remember properly). Sometimes they offer help and are actually useful. Sometimes they ignore me as I walk around the store and need to be called upon when I want to check out. Eh. The quality of customer service varies, but it’s never offensive.

I come here occasionally to see if there’s any sales. The employees are always friendly and helpful. Great location, too. Parking lot in the back is almost always full, but the lot adjacent to it(to the east) have metered spots. I bought my lovely gateleg dining table there. It was a display unit but in excellent conditions. It’s about half off! I did have to transport it myself, and this baby’s pretty heavy. They gave me a giant sheet of bubble wrap and helped me haul it to my car. I’ve also bought dining dishes and silverware from them. Pretty good quality and unique design, but a bit pricy without sales. That’s also true for pretty much everything else in the store. If you’re tired of IKEA and are willing to pay more for really good quality products, this is the place.
