Supreme Cleaners

My family has been going here since we moved to Oak Park 2 years ago. At the end of October, we took our winter coats here to be cleaned before the weather got cold. We picked them up and put them in the coat closet. Due to the warm weather, we did not need to wear a winter coat until the very end of December.
Upon pulling the coats out of the bags, we noticed that the coats did not appear to be cleaned at all. There was pilling on the coats still. debris in the pockets. and just did not look or smell as if anything at all had been done. It literally looks like they just took the coats from us, hung them up, and put the plastic sleeve over them.
So we went back to see if they could actually clean our coats for real this time. Nope. They say it had been too long since we brought them in… Like my goal in life is to rip off a dry cleaner for $ 20. Despite the fact that it was in the 50s through December.
Great business decision Supreme Cleaners. you don’t make it right for me. so save the $ 5 or whatever it costs you to clean a coat. Meanwhile we will no longer ever use your services, so your giving up potentially 20 years of our business. You’re walking over dollars to pick up pennies. A good business decision indeed!

Awesome place. The owners are really nice and they give you 10% discount when you pay more than 50 I think. They close at 7, but wait for you for 10 to 20 mins if you call before. I have no doubt that this place is the best in the area.

Been using this cleaners exclusively for 12+ years. Owners are super friendly and have watched my kids grown up! They always give me a little discount and they have called to remind me about being closed when they know I needed something and haven’t picked it up. We used to live down the street and moved to RF a few years ago. Still drive back over to use them and don’t plan to stop.

I’ve been going to Supreme Cleaners since I moved to Oak Park three years ago. The owners are SUPER nice and go out of their way to make sure my clothes are perfectly dry cleaned each time. At the very beginning there was an instance where they could not find my shirts but it showed up later… simple human error anyone could have made. The owner did not charge me for my cleaning and I haven’t had a problem since. I totally recommend «Supreme Cleaners».

I absolutely LOVE the owners here. They are extremely friendly and know me by name — I feel so special. :-) The beautiful wife was even thoughtful enough to call me one Saturday near closing time to remind me about picking up my dry cleaning, knowing I had an event the next day, when they would be closed. I’ve had minor alterations done and they were done well. Best dry cleaning establishment in Oak Park as far as I’m concerned!

Supreme Cleaners has been taking care my dry cleaning needs for nearly a decade with nary a button lost nor a crease unpressed! The business is run by an industrious married couple. The friendly proprietress always greets you with a chirpy «telephone number» in her lilting Korean accent. She speedily looks up your account — then, your perfectly cleaned & pressed clothes are presented to you. If you’re a regular, she’ll give you discounts and the occasional token holiday gift. Her husband, who usually works behind the scenes, is relatively quiet — but, he always smiles warmly and waves a friendly hello. If a hem is loose or a button dangling, she’ll point it out to you & suggest an inexpensive repair. She’ll never bat an eyelash at your cat hair covered suits or partied out dresses — so, don’t be shy about dumping your rumpled heap of threadbare unmentionables & discolored frumpsterwear right out onto the counter! She’ll quickly scoop them up into a laundry bag to be freshened & fixed at their onsite factory.
By the way, if you’re rude or otherwise self-​important, she’ll probably just say «next week» and give you the stink-​eye, but your clothes will still end up looking great!

I’ve been using this cleaner for about 5 years now, back when they were on Lake Street in downtown oak park. The owners are extremely friendly and the prices seem fair. I’ve had basic shirts cleaned as well as suits and have never had an issue. I’ve used them for basic button work, but not for any serious alteration work so I can’t comment completely on that other than to know it’s availability.

I have been a regular customer at Supreme for the last 2 years and have nothing but great things to say about them. Owned by a very friendly married couple, I use them for dry cleaning my dress shirts and for occasional tailoring and have been very satisfied. In two years they’ve only lost one of my shirts and they were sincerely apologetic and reimbursed me in full for it.
I also appreciate that they are right next to the Oak Park stop on the green line, which makes drop off and pick up easy for us el commuters.
I used to use Bright Cleaners on South blvd and they were not as friendly or accommodating.

I have been meaning to write a review of this establishment since late February when I stuck the receipt in my wallet which is considered my reminder to immortalize an experience on Unilocal.I took in three pairs of jeans to be altered here since there is only so much of my pants that I can stand dragging on the sidewalk everyday (ever notice how some unidentified force in the universe has tagged on an additional two inches on to every pair of pants in the world, and yet has not account for it in the measurements?).
In my past experiences getting jeans tailored I have had places that will save the cuff and re-​attach it so the bottom part looks as weathered as the rest of the jean (since that is the look nowadays). The lady here strongly discouraged me from doing this, quoting me some outrageous price per leg to do it. Fine, whatever… –1 star. I tell them specifically the amount in inches that I want off of each pair of jeans, and then they proceed to measure the inseam. Not necessary… I don’t care what the inseam measurement is, I want a certain amount off. –1 star. They tell me when the jeans will be ready. We stop by the day they told us to pick them up and the Jeans are not ready (no call either). –1 star. When I finally do pick up the jeans I discover they did not alter one of the pairs of jeans because it matched the inseam length of the other pairs. I didn’t request that, I wanted them to take an inch off damnit. –1 star. I don’t live in Oak Park so I wouldn’t need to have anything altered in that area anymore, but I definitely wouldn’t go back to Supreme Cleaners if I did.
