These people are great. I have 10 PC’s and they keep all of them operating. If I have a problem with one of them, they get it up and running quickly and at a reasonable price.

Help! I’m melting. The light bulb that illuminates my lap top burned up and overheated. I asked around for some suggestions and Atomic City Computers was mentioned repeatedly. Beyond supporting a local business it is wonderful to not have to drive into Knoxville for this fix. Atomic City was very friendly and affordable however I felt the labor for my computer took too long to complete. Understandably they are in high demand and have larger problems then my light. Their small team creates limits on their turn around but their efficiency for ordering parts is fantastic. Their prices are very competitive and real to rate. After two weeks (ordering the part and labor) I finally received my laptop back. For around a hundred dollars it will well worth the wait, just have a backup plan if the time expected sets you back.

I am not quite as eloquent as others, but when I found ACC last year, I was more than pleased to have such good, competent and committed service in «my back yard». The experience was made even better when I discovered Samuel was the son of an old customer of MINE. Highly recommended for good & FAIR service.

first, acc has moved. they are in the same area, but if you are facing their old door and look to your left 45 degrees, you will see their new, bigger location.
i’m obviously back in oak ridge building fences for mom’s dog rescue. last night i smelled something on fire. it was my laptop!
long story short, i shut it down and went to acc before noon the next day (monday). the owner, samuel was there and remembered me from last year. we talked about my issue and he knows i make a living with my machine, so he put it behind another rush, and told me it would be done by six.
i walked in at 4:30 to check up as he we helping a woman he’d helped before, saying «well, obviously we were unable to properly locate the root cause of your problem, but if you can leave it with us for a two days, we will repair it at no charge.»
he looks over at me and tells me he’ll be with me in a minute. i reply that he should take all the time he needs, i’m early and in no hurry.
that’s the kind of place atomic city is. they deserve your respect because they give it.
as for my laptop, it seems my version has a recorded history of over heating and they were glad i brought it to them at the first sign. i said «burning smells from my laptop? yeah. you mean to say people keep working on theirs after they discover this?»
«yes. here is one that burnt out,» and sam goes back to bring a wasted motherboard to show me.
this is a nerd paradise.
plus, when i go off about the corrupt political system, bankers, and more, it seems that the owner and i ought o hang for a night and drink a beer at a bowling alley.
they fixed my financial lifeline when they said they would and, as always, for a price i know nobody in the entire usa would beat. add in their great attitude and care for each customer and i’ll wager anybody that atomic city computers is the best place to have your machine repaired at a fair and warrantied price.
and they make their own killer gaming desktops. again, you won’t find a better price, warranty, or customer service.

I took my computer in for a repair recently and was pleasantly surprised by the two guys that own and operate the store! They were very knowledgable about the problem I was having and happily explained how to avoid in the future. They had a very fast turnaround for their service and, in my opinion, are underpriced for their fantastic service! They will do great in our area.
