The food presentation for dinner was lovely, but tasted like it had sat warming all day. It is a small place with tables in the front, and a tiny stage and sofas in the back. This seems more a neighborhood stop for drinks and appetizers.

Excellent food BUT poor service. Good hospitality is key at places like these which is why its sad that its as bad as it is. For example, the other day when I went in, it took them 5 minutes to welcome me because the young person, who was working behind the counter, decided that cleaning the coffee machine was more important than saying a general greeting. It would be one thing if he didn’t know I was there but he definitely did. AWKWARD. However, when the owner is around, this doesn’t happen at all. He is always so friendly and always tries to start a conversation so obviously he needs to fix some of his staffing issues. Despite some poor staff, their food is scrumptious. Their Oreo pie, tomato soup, and scones are just a few of my favorites. I only wish that some of their staff acted like they wanted customers, otherwise I would go there more often!

We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed, and tonight was no exception. Here you choose your own table, or couch, and order at the counter and they deliver to your table. We got here a little after six on a Wednesday and it was not busy. Mary ordered the Garlic, Olive Oil, Parmesan Veggie Pasta and I ordered the Grilled Chicken Breast. After a short wait the meals were delivered and the presentation was perfect, see attached pictures. The grilled chicken was done to perfection and very moist and the taste… Oh, the taste was as good as I have had anywhere. The mixed veggies were steamed perfectly and seasoned to perfection as well. The roasted red potatoes were cooked just right and again flavored properly. Mary’s pasta dish was excellent as well. The pasta was a perfect al dente and again the garden vegetables were cooked perfectly. The garlic bread was toasted a deep brown on both sides and not overwhelmed by the garlic. The only thing that was not perfect is that I had to ask for a large spoon so Mary could spin her pasta! And the serving sizes were large and filling. An excellent meal. While waiting for dinner I read some of the other reviews, the ones three or below, and must say the only explanation I would have is maybe consistency to explain the difference between what I read and this review. While we don’t come here very often, every four or five months, I do recognize the staff especially the chef. So maybe we just happen to hit it on his days and we have always had great food. Now this is not an upscale, fancy restaurant, just locally owned and operated, but the food, the service and the prices we have consistently had justifies the rating. And I don’t think it will be so long before we go back

Billed as a «neighborhood gathering place», Bistro 150 is a delightful oasis in the middle of a suburban shopping center. My first trip was for lunch on a cold January day. On a recent Friday night, I had an experience that was memorable for all the right reasons. You order at the counter, and then they deliver the food to your table. Seating is first-come first-served, so prepare to wait for the table you want or just take what’s available. I enjoy sitting where I can see the kitchen, and watch the care taken in preparation of all the dishes. On this occasion I ordered an herbed chicken dish that was out of this world. Savory comfort food is how I’d describe it. The flavors were extraordinary — and I ate every bite! Unusual for me. I’m craving it again right now just thinking about it! The wines offered are a good selection of quality balanced with decent prices. Next I want to go back on a nice evening to sit out on the patio!

We came for lunch. The sandwiches were seriously the best I have ever had. The soup, salad, and roasted potatoes were great, too. I’m really glad I tried this place out.

Visited last night as a family group with my bf’s family. We all really enjoyed our food and had a wonderful time. The surprise was that the Asian lady came out from behind the counter, took our drink and dinner orders, then brought the food to the table. My bf’s Mom had the salmon, she thoroughly enjoyed it, even scraping up the last couple of bites of potato to take home with her hubby’s leftover veggies. I had a chicken salad which was gorgeous and very fresh. Everyone really enjoyed our visit and we’ll definitely be back.

I really enjoyed the food. I came in for breakfast and got the breakfast omelet. It was really good. I loved the fried potatoes, as well. I would recommend.

I visited for breakfast, and went pretty simple — the Bistro Breakfast with two eggs(over medium), sausage, potatoes, and toast. I was also tempted by perhaps the most gorgeous croissants I’ve ever seen in a basket on the counter, so I got one of them as well. The eggs, while nothing fancy, were very well executed. I was pleasantly surprised by the potatoes. I might have expected home fries or hash browns, but these were roasted potatoes, the kind one might serve with dinner. It was different but welcome. And the croissant? it tasted every bit as good as it looked, and I’ve daydreamed on more than one occasion about making a slight trip out of my way for that reason alone. The décor and seating options come in three phases: There’s outside seating, and the patio seemed nice enough, even if your vista would be the shopping center parking lot. Indoors, there are reasonably few restaurant style tables, and the rest of the place could very well be a study, with leather couches and low tables. While my meal was a pretty quick in-and-out, I could see spending some time there, sipping and reading or perhaps taking a meeting or catching up with friends.

Great place! Seating could be better, but food is a great value and beverage selection is great. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are great!

Very surprising to find this in An Oak Ridge shopping center(Hwy 150&68, by Lowes Food) order at the counter in this small space with 3 seating areas, one being outdoors. Food is quite good and includes breakfast ., til 2pm, lunch and dinner. This would be a very good place to take your Mom or meet clients and prospects. Soup and sandwich was fresh and flavorful. I will have to return for a giant burger as they look really good. Wifi is strong and appreciated.

Bistro 150 is amazing! Great food. One of the best burgers I have ever had. The staff is incredibly welcoming and helpful. The atmosphere is extremely relaxed and laid back. Great coffee and dessert too! Check it out!

As stated below in the review section this place is inconsistent and I believe the reviewers are employees and owners of this business. I have been contacted several times regarding my post by people who are rude and bullies who I have reported to Unilocal.I have posted positive reviews in the past of places my husband and I enjoy. I would recommend finding another resturant to frequent due to the lack in consistent quailty and disregard for others.

Unbelievable food! The half chicken was out of this world! Everything was cooked just right. Too bad I don’t live in the area. I would be coming here every few days to eat. The prices are extremely reasonable and the staff is very friendly. :0)

The food is good and the coffee is good but what really makes this place is the atmosphere. Big chairs with tiny tables and live music! I love it. It’s the kind of coffee shop that people idealize — where the people behind the counter know your order and name.

Bistro 150 is a quaint eating establishment in the middle of Oak Ridge. My brother had been there several times before me and raved about the food there, so I knew that I had to stop by and try it out. Bistro 150 is not a big place, but I mean that in the best way. It is very intimate, and comparable to something like a coffee shop. The difference here is, they have really exquisite food! I have had both a steak sandwich from there and a shrimp and spinach wrap from Bistro and both have been incredible. The service is also very good, and it is a place that I frequent often. For anyone who lives around the Oak Ridge area or is just passing through, be sure to stop by Bistro 150, it definitely won’t disappoint!

Very good food, especially the breakfast and brunch. The service is good but the place is very dark and small. I think the whole dark/small place is part of the French style but I would love to see more light there. On summer/spring you can seat outside, which is very nice. It is probably the best good quality food option in the area(all the other restaurants in the area are a disaster). They have very good coffee, European strong one. It is a great option for a Sunday summer brunch!!!

Stopped in for lunch today. I had the z-bird which was a good grilled chicken sandwich with avocado, bacon, and cheese. I ordered the Cesar salad as my side and the romaine was a bit limp and past its prime. There are not many options in the oak ridge area and this place is my favorite. On prior visit I had a pork chop cooked in a red wine sauce with apples, onions and dried cranberries. It was very good.
