When you go to IHOP, you aren’t expecting anything fancy. We were seated right away. We waited for over 20 min. and no one came to take our drink order. It wasn’t even busy(about 1⁄3) full. We got up and left.

I work right next door and finally tried their breakfast. There was a huge black hair cooked into the egg on my sandwich. Pretty bad… I will not be back to this place ever.

They show crepes being served on tv at ihop, but we know it must be craps with their talent.

(This is just complaining about our waitress that we had.) Okay so me and my buddies are here on the 57th anniversary for the 57¢ pancakes and the service is being so slow. We got here, sat down, and it took them over half an hour to just take our drink orders. Then I didn’t even get my hash browns of eggs and then they charged my friend for the food I didn’t even get. And the waitress never came back to get our bills. Please fix the service, Thanks.

Stopped by tonight for a burger, $ 10.99 for a bacon cheeseburger & onion rings? Burger was ok, onion rings, yuk, Cod, tasted like old grease. Service was good. Should stick with pancakes. The Berry, Berry Brioche French toast is good. $ 27 + tip, way too much for a quick meal, for 2 of us. Not cleanest place either. Noted napkins on the floor under a few booths. Kitchen floor(sat a table close to kitchen), same things food, sugar packet on the floor.

I visit this restaurant now and then when I’m in Mpls/St Paul. Service is always pretty fast and the food is about average for this type of restaurant. Their specialty is pancakes. I must admit ilI think that the pancakes are better at Dennys.

Food in general was really good. We were seated right away. The food was out quickly after ordering, but I find it rather annoying when they bring your food out and you need a refill on your drink, you order it and never get it. Also find it disappointing when the server drops off your check right after dropping off your food and doesn’t bother to check on you again. Being generous I feel obligated to tip even when the server was not doing her job.

Don’t understand all of the negative reviews, me and my family come here once in a while for many years and have never had bad food or service, they make a really good steak and Colorado Omlette, there pancakes are better then Perkins, and they make goods Crepes too. I ate here tonight and ordered the Omlette with a lot of bacon and it was awesome, staff was prompt and courteous as usual.

Service here is horrible. Food didn’t look as appetizing. I’ve had better ihop food elsewhere

We ate there last night and everything was classic IHOP. Good food and good service up until the end. We realized the next day my wife must have left her purse. Went back to get it and everything was just as she left it. The waitress had found it and put it away right away. She called and left a message on the machine which we never check. So nice! So good IHOP food — great people!!!

I don’t why for sure we went back to this place but we did just to get try it one more time. First thing was we had to wait a long time to get seated while waiting we were amused by the Christmas paintings still on the windows in March??? someone had scratched in the paint«I Hop sucks butt!» I’m sure it’s still there and I’m sure most people would agree with who ever scratched it. We were finally seated and received our drinks one hot chocolate that had to go back due to a hair in the whipped cream. Service was sub par and when the food came it was cold. not even enough to melt my butter on the pancake’s NEVER ever again will we go to another I hop NEVER!!!

I tried this IHOP this morning. I was hoping to find a good place to grab breakfast on my way to work when I am in this part of the world. Breakfast has become my favorite meal when home in Texas. This IHOP definitely is not competitive with others I have found in the Twin Cities, let alone my favorites in Austin. I tried the biscuits and gravy combo. The eggs were good and cooked as I ordered them. The sausage links were tasty, but the gravy was a bit runny and rather bland. The hash browns looked nice and browned but were chewy(?!). The coffee was good and service was fine. This IHOP will not join Junior’s Café(in Eagan) and Hell’s Kitchen(in Minneapolis) on my list of favorite breakfast spots in the Twin Cities area.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. I’ve gone here three times total(I normally like IHOP food once in a while, I’m not sure why I was stupid enough to go to this particular one more than once). The first time there were 3 of us and it took 40 min to get our food out and it wasn’t very busy. The second time it was my daughter and I. We waited 30 min for the waiter to come over and when I told him I wanted to order our food he refused to take our order, saying he was too busy and could only take our drink order and we would have to wait to place our food order. We got up and left. It was busy that night, but that is no excuse. The third time we went for breakfast and everything seemed to go fine. The waitress was nice and the food didn’t take too long, but I had TWO hairs in my pancakes. Two hairs that were clearly from two different people! Disgusting.

I gotta say I like IHOP’s lingonberry crepes with lingonberry butter. Much like traditional Swedish(thin) pancakes. There’s also a good whole grain pancake with nuts and bananas — a few things you can’t find on traditional chain 24 hr breakfast place menus.
