I have not done business with these folks but I just went to their Oakdale location and they have moved their office to somewhere in Wisconsin. I expect their phone number has also changed.

My wife and I had Ron repair our dishwasher, our dryer and our washing machine. In all three cases, Ron was the best! Not only did he explain, in detail, what was wrong in each case, but he gave us his opinion as to whether it would be better to have him fix them or not waste the money on fixing(money out of his pocket) and just buy a new appliance. We bought a new washer. And he gave us his opinion on which appliance he felt was the best one for us. No, Ron was nothing but VERY professional in all our dealings with him. My neighbor feels the same way!!! I can tell you with all the confidence in the world, if you want a repairman who is professional, honest and fair, you need not go any farther. He’s the best!

Service took place on 3÷26÷15. Called and talked to Ron about my fridge not working, he came out promptly and was able to diagnose the problem. He had the parts on the truck, and had it fixed in a hour. The fridge has been working great since.

3−26−15 I had Ron, owner of Mr. Appliance of Washington County, to my house to repair my freezer on my GE refrigerator. It turns out the freezer element went bad. Ron replaced the element and the freezer was repaired that day. Good job on the freezer repair. However, I then talked to Ron about my ice maker. It was not crushing ice. I explained I had replaced the rotor in the ice maker and it still would not work. I thought I needed a new ice maker. Ron said he could order me one for $ 115. Total cost for today’s visit — $ 375 which included the ice maker. He said if it wasn’t the ice maker than it might be the motor. After receiving the ice maker in the mail I reassessed the situation and realized I might not need the expensive ice maker. I asked my neighbor to use their ice maker — I live in a townhouse where all the appliances are the same throughout the neighborhood. I assessed the situation with their ice maker and determined that once the ice maker was full the rotor would not turn. So indeed it was not the ice maker but something else. I called Mr. Appliance and set up another appointment with Ron. I explained to the person on the phone that I had an ice maker that I wanted to return and I wanted to make sure I make the appointment within 30 days. The receipt on the ice maker states that there are no returns after 30 days. The person said that a return would be charged a 20 percent restocking fee, but now that they were aware of the return scheduling the appointment after the 30 days was not a problem with the return. Ron showed up today and right away found in a minute that it wasn’t the ice tray but the drive fork that turns the rotor. It was stripped from motor and not turning. Don’t you think a professional would have taken the time to assess the ice maker before agreeing to place such an expensive order for a customer? Ron explained I needed a new drive fork and motor at a cost of $ 246.31. Parts would be about $ 75 and the rest was labor and taxes. I had him confirm that the $ 89 fee for today’s visit was rolled into the labor cost. He said today’s fee is in addition to any labor for the second visit. That was not the information I received when scheduling the appointment — the $ 89 fee is charged only if there are no repairs, if so that fee is rolled into the overall cost. I then reminded Ron I wanted to return the ice maker. That is when Ron became very unreasonable saying he would not return the ice maker as it was special order and over 30 days. I reminded him that his staff said the 30 day time limit was not an issue when I made the appointment. Ron refused to take back the ice maker and basically ran out the door. He was in such a hurry he didn’t leave me a bill for the $ 89, I guess he thought he had already taken me for enough money! Now I have an extra GE ice maker — If interested it is model number WR17X12090 — $ 115. Ron was very unreasonable. He would have received additional business for the drive fork and motor repair if he would had taken back the ice maker. What a stupid situation.
