With a toddler and a baby at home, this place is a huge help and time saver. It takes most of the work out of meal planning, shopping and preparation.

My husband and I came in yesterday to try this place out. I am going to be out of town for the next week and I wanted to be sure he doesn’t starve while I am away. It was a really fun date night to put all the food together while wearing a goofy apron and bandana. All the dishes look so good I made him promise to save me at least one bite of all the ones he makes. The meat portions were huge and ingredients they provide are top quality!!! The workers were really friendly and eager to answer any questions we had, and we were greeted right away when we came in. I feel bad for the previous reviewer who was not greeted when he walked in. I know they have specific hours that you can come in to make the dishes yourself. Maybe he didn’t come in during one of those times? I don’t think this place deserved a 1 star rating for that, especially after tasting some of the dishes. After two years of marriage I still haven’t totally got the whole cooking thing down, but this place makes me feel empowered to be a top chef. He and I can’t wait to come back again!

Wouldve loved to try this place, but stood at the door for quite awhile and was never greeted. Normally, Im the kind of guy that doesnt like to be bothered while I shop. But, when the place i am visiting virtually demands help from the counter staff and you are not assisted within 5 minutes of browsing around, it would be safe to say that person will not be coming back. Unfortunately, I was that person this time around.

We were gifted a large supply of Let’s Dish entrees when my mom went into the hospital.(Apparently some of my Dad’s colleagues were concerned about his ability to feed himself :)) The entrees arrived in ziploc bags with stickers on each bag, indicating what was inside and the preparation instructions. We also received a separate card with a list of all the entrees we’d received and the approximate preparation time to help us plan which entrée to prepare. Overall the food was pretty tasty and there was a wide variety of flavors — soups, pot pies, chicken dishes, rice dishes, etc. It was not as good as a freshly cooked meal(although I suppose that depends on who the chef is!) but definitely better than a frozen meal from the supermarket. What initially surprised me was how labor-intensive some of the dishes were. None of our dishes required fewer than 30 minutes prep time. Some required overnight defrosting. Some required multiple steps and/or multiple pots and pans. Some of it was understandable, but I was especially surprised that we were required to cook our own rice(from scratch). Cooked rice is easy to freeze and defrost, so I would expect the dish to include cooked rice. PS: frozen prepared entrees are brilliant if you are offering food during a tragedy. It’s so much more versatile than fresh food. Plus, a group of you can go in together and make it a social event.
