took the lady here to eat, it was ok, very nice staff, think we bought the dinner for 2 its $ 11.95 per person, and I got full, wish they had more selection, but what they did have got the job done, think we went on a tuesday so there were not very many people there, but common its oakdale, I will be back.

I heard they had New owners so I came in with my mother in law to give them a try today. The food is much better then the old owners! We will definitely be back! Great prices: D

This place was okay. Customer service was great. They are friendly, have great smiles and alot of patience. It was very clean here. I saw a wizard drive by on a bike. The sushi here was huge and this is a great place to watch soccer.

Love it, love it, love it! For $ 6.95 you get a great lunch, including hot tea. There are 4 kinds of soup, a full array of sushi, a well-​stocked salad bar, and at least 20 Chinese dishes to enjoy. They keep the food hot and fresh, and offer a great variety of items to choose from. For dessert, they have the usual jello, macaroons, pudding, and fresh fruit. But they also offer 4 kinds of scoop-​it-​yourself ice cream, which is very good quality. You can’t beat the price and the quality is definitely above average!

I liked it when it was the Grand Buffet, but the Palm Tree which has been here for about 4 months is quite good for a buffet. A wide selection of traditional favorites even at lunch. Panko fried shrimp, egg foo yung, shrimp and veggies, generals chicken and foil wrapped chicken. Great selection of fresh sushi and they’re pretty good on keeping the pans of food full and fresh.

I honestly don’t get the reviews on the Palm Tree Buffet. Either we visited on an off-​day or there are some very gracious patrons writing reviews on Unilocal.If you’ve had a good chinese buffet, you know what you’re in for: a variety of food, some healthy, some not so much. But you know what to expect.
If you’ve had a really bad chinese buffet, you know what to expect. Flavorless fried foods, dried out meat, chow mein and rice that make you long for cup o’ noodles and a lifetime of regrets five minutes after you make your exit.
For us, it was the latter. I can’t think of a reason to go back and give it a try. It’s just not good.

Asian buffet that is as good as I have had! Great sushi choices and really fresh and good dishes. I don’t get to Oakdale often, but I have a new stop here. I hope they support it and keep it here for a long while.

I don’t typically go for buffets, but this place was great. Clean, friendly and the food was good. Very tasty sushi rolls, and plenty of options for all types of diets. My Love and I will definitely be back.

This place is to die for best chinese buffet in this area the price is only $ 8.50 a person children eat free 3 and under only before 3pm after it is 12.50 just the sushi rolls are worth the price Osaka has to fear that’s how good it is. Give them a try you will not regret it. Fresh food and great price. If any know the Chinese buffet in valley springs they use to work there.

It is a good Asian buffet, we liked the food, it is clean, and wouldn’t hesitate to take friends. There is now a Japanese family running it: nice service, and re-​arranged cashier area with a screen. We went on a weekend and there were many tourists stopping by on their way to the mountains. I asked a young couple coming out how is it? They smiled and said it’s good. Everything was tasty and there was a selection of 6 to 8 sushi rolls! I tried all and rate them as good as any. The Hot and Sour soup and the kung pao chicken were also fine. I will start going here for the value and variety.
