What’s up with the bad reviews, the staff was super friendly here! The food was consistent. Fries were fresh and hot. $ 1 coffee any size brings me back her twice a day, everyday!

Thank Goodness there are other places to get a burger in Oakhurst… I dropped in to the drive through today at my wife’s request who was home sick… Took 23 minutes(per the receipt) to get my order right even after a reminder on my first run through the Drive Thru. I had to circle back through a second time and by the time I actually received my fries and the sauces I ordered, I ended up at home with stone cold food that I was too angry to eat anyway. I live in Oakhurst and always desire the local businesses to prosper and I admit that my wife and I both get cravings for the yummy salty food at the golden arches. But after today, I can say it will be a long time before I go back to this store.

I live near by in coarsegold. Every time we eat here the food is hot, the order is correct, the place is super clean, and all the staff are super nice. Best mc Donald’s. Tonight is no exception!

The girl didn’t listen to me when I was ordering which cause an insufficient amount of fries for my two person order. After we finished the incomplete meal I went to order my fries(the ones she forgot to add to my original meal) and the same girl is the only cashier and there are LITERALLY10 different groups of people waiting to order.

Decided the ashtray in my truck was way too full. I must have had 20 in change ahaha. 2 choices; pay with the $ 100 bill i had or grab coin roll and git r done. Cashier took apart every roll. Finally when i pulled out the $ 100 bill i had on me he figured out how those things work. Like who hires someone who can’t handle cash? Took him 10 minutes to figure out my change. Can’t count back eh? Asking for salt packets a separate time, cashier actually threw them at me. Both incidents not so big a deal but having been a manager at a small store, it’s those little things. I’d never hire someone who can’t handle cash and basic accounting, and I’d fire immediately an employee whom would throw items at a paying customer while huffing at them.

Maybe the manager called in sick because the whole operation seemed like they weren’t sure what they were doing. Got the order wrong. The place was dirty. Bathroom was really gross. Highchair was extremely dirty and missing a buckle to secure child. Trashy people everywhere. I just wanted to leave as soon as possible. I wish there were more fastfood options in Oakhurst.

We went for the free WIFI and a cup of Joe and left with a pocketful of stories. While quietly trying to get my Unilocal on all of a sudden it sounded as if someone was beating up the bathroom. For what seemed like an eternity but was really only 5 seconds the entire dining area fell silent and the kitchen staff froze, spatulas in air. Screaming, cussing, kicking and banging of metal objects emanated from the mens room. Then five men ran towards the restroom and escorted the angry man out, steam rising from his head and cell phone still stuck to his ear while he continued to spit into it. Next, went up to get my first cup of coffee and am about to pump myself a cup when a non-homeless man(I know because I’m pretty sure he lived in his blue Mazda) crept up next to me and mumbled something incoherent. Startled, I turned around and jumped back a step. Apparently, that was the affect he wanted and he pushed me aside and grabbed himself a cup. I was ok with that would rather have him in front of me than behind me anyway. Mazda man grabbed his coffee and exited the scene in his car but that wasn’t the last of him. Got my coffee sat down and stared out the window thinking about nothing in particular and saw a fairly well dressed woman digging through the garbage can. She pulled out a soda cup and a coffee cup then walked into the restaurant into the woman’s restroom. Thirty seconds later she got her free«refill» at the soda machine then got her coffee as well. Then she stuffed the entire half and half containers into her pocket walked outside back to the garbage can where she dug out half a cigarette and enjoyed it while drinking her coffee and sipping on her soda. Re-enters Mazda man with an older woman. He escorts her to the woman’s rest room where I can only assume she took a bath in the sink because he stood guard outside that door for 20 minutes. She finally exited and they drove off together. The person I was sitting with had many more stories such as these and said that all the people we saw that day were regulars. This McDonald’s appears to have a very liberal policy in dealing with the homeless and less fortunate and I have to give them stars for that. I think it’s a rare day when the police are called.

Coming home from Yosemite, stopped in for a snack. Somehow they forgot to pull the 2 cookies out of the oven. They were busy and just got overwhelmed. After realizing the mistake, they made it up to us. Thanks for correcting what was simply a mistake.

A decent, regular, run-of-the-mill McDonalds. They have their good days, and their bad. I love their fries when they are fresh!

Not all McDonald’s are created equal. This one is middle of the pack. I really liked the high quality photos of Yosemite that they have all around. The guy who took my order was surly and looked like he needed a break. You know all about the food.

It’s a McDonalds so you can’t expect anything exciting about it. The food can range from delicious to meh. I think it depends on who’s working, how fresh the food is, etc. People are friendly. The updated interior is nice. It used to be disgusting but now it’s edible and I go in every couple weeks.

If I would have written this review 5 years ago, this particular Mc Donalds would have gotten a verbal beat-down. I was convinced they were out to screw-up my fast food experience by getting my order wrong. Every single time… something would be wrong. Not only that, the people working were just plain rude. It became a game for the wife and I. «What are they going to screw up this time? «. When the kids want a happy meal, what am I to do? This is the only Mc Donalds for 35 miles. Well, it’s not 5 years ago. I am happy to say that this particular Mc Donalds has gotten their fast food act together. Every single time, in the last year, my order has been correct and fast. Not only that, they are very friendly. Oh, FYI… this particular Mc Donalds has a young lady working drive-thru who won a competition as the best employee for the NorCal stores. You can’t miss her. she is awesome. So, if you find yourself in need of a happy meal… this Mickey D’s is definitely up to task.
