To bad we can’t give lower than a 1, as I am so sick of this clinic. When I first moved to town I went there until I got a regular doctor. I have had so many bad experiences with them it is hard to decide which is worst. Maybe the time they couldn’t get me in when I suffered from hyperthermia, so I drove to their Madera Ranchos office, waited 3 hours to see a doctor who didn’t know how to properly write a prescription. Now, our daughter came to visit and went in for a simple test. They took blood and sent results to the lab. A simple test turned into many tests which she didn’t ask for. Our insurance wouldn’t pay the lab or the doctor because they said it was coded wrong. I called and the person who does their billing acknowledged it was coded wrong and said she would take care of it. The doctor would not change the coding. All they had to do was take responsibility for the error, change the code and my insurance would pay. As a result, I have almost $ 700 worth of bills my insurance won’t pay. I heard the clinic was for sale… hope someone good buys it.

NP Pam Rico was the third medical professional I visisited in the Oakhurst area. I had s visibly swollen him and wanted to know why. Camerena, and Adventist both said«physical therapy» to which I replied«diagnosis before treatment». Pam ordered an MRI… Physical therapy would have exacerbated the issue. Pam and her staff have also been the only medical place that my children with autism DON’T freak out with. They GET it. They are patient, kind and understanding. I have no idea what issues people had with the front office, but those ladies ROCK. There’s only two for that entire office!!! I have had zero issues, and I have issues everywhere.

My experience with the NP here could not have been better. This lovely woman was efficient, knowledgeable and caring. The physicians assistant was also a very pleasant kind young lady. However, unfortunately I had to get by the front desk staff to get to them. I have managed dental offices for many years. I am seasoned on both sides of that counter. You are not required by law to Love people if you are forced to work with them, but at the very least do have the common decency to look them in the eye and avoid being terse or sarcastic. I honestly felt sick just sitting in that waiting room in such a dismissive atmosphere. I do hope it is something they will work on for the benefit of all.

Very unprofessional and rude. They want you to come back for everything, all about getting you in there for ANYTHING so they can get money. Please make an appointment to come back for 5 minutes to get results. Also doctor made me have a Pap smear(18) to get birth control for 3 months. She wouldn’t give me a year without making me go back again and again and again. My new actual doctor is very upset she made me have a Pap smear for that, especially at my age.

Very disappointed in watching billing receptionists make rude comments after every call in — almost a hippa violation they were chortling how they left people on hold and openly discussed calling patients to be overheard by waiting room people — also rude«talking down» to patients who were coming in just trying to get service — Please get out of the profession as doctor is great they cast a shadow on you!

Very happy so far. Not sure what happened with that other reviewer. Reception has been friendly(if seeming a little overworked at times). Pam Rico is my NP and is very attentive, patient, happy to give me the level of explanation/consultation I seek(i.e.; I know some people just want to be given a pill and let loose rather than learn about what’s ailing them).

Don’t go!!! Very bad. You would be better going to the internet or a veterinarian then going to Primary Care. The receptionists are very rude, also no privacy your issues are shared with all in waiting room along with phone calls and staffs personal thoughts of patients. HIPA is violated all the time. Doctors are rude especially the owner. I was treated like a child talked down to when you do get treatment it’s is poor if you are referred out it can take months. I know several people that have gone to ER and been told they have been ill for months and needed to get treatment sooner. Have been a client for a long time and they have had issues but not as bad as the last the few months. The Doctor I saw primarily is wonderful, but the other doctors, staff, and owner are incompetent. When a mistake is made by the establishment patients get the blame. The last visit I overheard a receptionist, RN, and doctor call a patient that was waiting in an exam room a «ass» along few other name. Very unprofessional.
