Ive always been a little wary because the place is filled with flies, but I let it go. The thing that threw me off is that the chickpea salad that I bought was very dry and old. When I asked an employee if it was fresh, he told me yes, but it was clearly not fresh. Just be careful

Spring Valley, NY
We stayed overnight at Ocean Place resort in Long Branch. We were just looking for a kosher place to grab a hot cup of coffee (we only drink Cholov Yisroel) and a simple decent breakfast.
Slices provided just what we were looking for. I got a slice of vegetable pizza and had a large chickpea salad (chickpeas, red, green and yellow finely chopped peppers, purple onion, spices and oil). My wife had a large tuna and vegetable platter.
The food was fresh and the service fast. Nothing fancy. Just a simple and good pizza and dairy restaurant.
I disagree with Israel H. from Brooklyn who wrote «mediocre at best». What do you expect from a pizza place? This is not 656 Ocean and they don’t charge like it…
