Absolutely disgusting. Forget the food — the mens room was unsanitary and disgusting. I told the manager, and he was dismissive and insulting. If this is how they treat the rest room, I can only imagine how they treat the kitchen. Never again.

Went two nights ago, bartender with an accent didn’t even know what nitro was when we asked what beer they had on nitro. Then while we’re still eating she allowed the bar back to continuously overspray chemicals to start cleaning the draft beer grates?! This was at 10:30, they close at midnight. We were instantly overwhelmed with fumes and couldn’t even finish our food plus I wanted another beer and dessert. My girlfriend literally downed her entire beer she had just ordered just so we could get out of there while the bartender just stood there?? I said sarcastically out loud well I guess we’re done! The bartender obliviously says ok, processed our payment and tells us to have a good night. As a bartender that is unacceptable behavior and terrible customer service! Probably won’t be back even though the daytime bartender is very nice and personable and the food is good!

I really liked this place. The staff was great and I loved the ambiance. Lilia, our waitress, was awesome. Very attentive. My boyfriend and I tried the Irish Sausage and Mash, Shepherds Pie, and the Corned beef and Cabbage. We liked them all. The Shepherds Pie was probably my favorite. The people at my table had Cheesesteaks and they said that they were amazing. The cheese was different(?) and that apparently made it so good. Wings were really good too.

GREAT burgers, period! I ordered from this place via GrubHub and they came hot, and actually cooked a true medium rather than overdone. My boyfriend even liked his medium-well burger ;-)

We were invited by my son-in-law and his wonderful family for lunch after my baby grandson’s Baptismal worship service. They, being of Irish descent, and me suspecting I am as well(I pull red LOL), thought an Irish Pub would be an apropos place for a family gathering; but forgot to give Stout a heads up that we were coming! Wow… from the onset of pulling up to park, we were greeted by the manager as though we were family and they had been preparing for us! You’re going to love the private, cozy décor with tucked seating, yet ample and cushiony. Accommodating for big groups of 12+. The bar is lengthy and well stocked with a jolly mixer/tender who appeared to be genuinely enjoying the art of serving and visiting with his guests. The restrooms were tidy and yes! they have a changing table mommies. See the photos attached. :) There is also outside seating and plenty of flat screens, even in the private booths! Now for the food; which if the pub wasn’t inviting enough, put a stamp on the entire experience! Large, varied, fresh, hot, like home-made and utterly delicious. The menu has plenty of prerogative. We had several appetizers, Blackened Shrimp salad, Corn Beef sliders, the Mile-high Turkey Club, Bangers and Mash, Pasta Primavera and Mac ‘n Cheese for the wee one. The Stout Brownie a la Mode was creamy and orgasmic. Our 3Ms(Bloody Mary, Mimosas, and Margaritas) were repeat worthy! And the coffees and Expresso were perfect! If you are fortunate to get Erika as your server, you will be quite pampered! She is the server that everyone desires. Even at the end, she took the initiative to stand on a chair(don’t try this at home and please don’t reprimand her – give her a promotion!) to take our group photo! What a sweetheart! If there was an extra star, Stout Bar & Grill in Oakland Park well earned it! Thank you for such a great establishment and a memorable experience for our family — can’t wait to go back!

Cheap, chain food, and really what kind of self respecting Irish bar uses all CO2 and not Nitro/CO2 mix to pour a Guinness??? Like we are idiots and can’t see the bubbles rising instead of falling. There was no milky, creaminess. Down right wrong. Sure they«pour» it right letting it rest a bit after pouring at an angle and then finally topping it off. But don’t be fooled, it’s all smoke in mirrors. They should have their Irishness stripped away. No Irish eyes are smiling in this place.

This place is very good for watching any sports games. They have a good selection of beers and the food is great as well. This place is great for watching a soccer game since they are soccer friendly. Many bars in the area will not even have soccer channels on. I’ll be sure to stop by again, I highly recommend this place.

Rock solid bigger than expected Irish/Sports/American Bar with humongous dining areas and new accoutrements done correctly, which lends you the idea this place will be around for a long time. I had a burger that may have been slightly overlooked, but seriously wonderful ingredients picked up any slack. You can overcook a burger a little bit if the chopped meat is high quality. Shrooms, provolone and bun worked wonderfully and I like their fries. Great big bar with a unique copper top. Lots of ground to cover but some guy named Tim made it look easy. I’ll come back.

I liked the giant beers this place has and the server was very nice. The food was ok. Not too many vegetarian options but there is a veggie burger and a few other things. I’d give the place another try.

Me likey. I went in to watch some playoff baseball and got bangers and mash with a pint of Guiness. Good service, good food, good brew. It was louder than I expected from reading other reviews, but you could still hold a conversation. Friendly, upscaler crowd than your average sports bar, so if you’re looking to get away from the loudmouth Yankees fan this would be a good alternative. Stout might have to supplant my go-to sports bar. Hmmm.

This is our 3rd visit to Stout! The food quality has improved greatly. The Reuben sandwich, lamb stew, and lamb burger were ordered and shared by the three of us — and all was quite the taste treat. The house Cabernet was perfect pairing with our meal. The server(we are at the bar) was friendly and attentive.

Had Fish and Chips. Awful Fish likely a pre-frozen Sysco entrée. Tasted like a fish corn dog. My companion had a pricey hambuger. Mediocre at best. Fish Dip was good. Over priced unimaginative food. For good fish go up the street to Catfish Deweys.

First time here: Quiet Sunday night. Shepherd’s pie, cocktail, music, tv’s all around in a modern, spacious yet cozy bar/restaurant. Plenty of private lot parking. Wings were delicious, hot sauce and blue cheese for dipping. The ambiance is cool in this spacious bar/restaurant w TVs all ’round.

With a name like Patrick Gavin, you might think I would know something about Irish food. And I do. And I love it. We’re very fortunate here in Southern Florida to have a number of really great Irish restaurants. I’m really lucky to have one very close to home. Stout Bar & Grill is phenomenal. We came here on a Thursday night with a baby, which is always an interesting proposal. They had a high chair(plus for them) and they sat us in a quiet booth(another plus) and we ordered. Wow. Huge portions at reasonable prices and the food was delicious. I’ll definitely be coming back to sample more of their menu but this place has it all. A full bar, sports on the televisions and a full restaurant. Everything you need under one roof.

Not great. Very loud. No acoustics to absorb the noise. I have been there twice once for takeout and next for beers and dinner at the bar. For take out I had the Western Burger was really good and I had requested the sweet potato fries which have cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on top. For dinner I had first ordered the flat bread pizza with Basil Pesto only to realize that there is no Pesto. There is a marinara sauce that has pesto in it but that is not what the menu stated so back it went to the kitchen. Next I tried the Fish and Chips. The fish is in this lite tempura batter and is a healthy portion but I don’t think it is freshly made but rather frozen because there was a sogginess to it. And again I had the sweet potato fries sans the topping. The question… would I return. Maybe. The beers on tap are decent even though there are no Amber beers. They need more appetizers for snacking. But that is only my opinion.

One word: Excellent! First off, they’ve probably got something for everybody… Big burgers, seafood, pasta, Irish Classics and more. So far, my wife and I have conquered(on her side) Drunken Chicken, Lamb Stew,(and on my side) Lamb Burger & Philly Cheese Steak… All of which were delicious and prepared perfectly. No complaints about the servers, they were all friendly and did their job without problem or incident. On top of that, Stout is a very cool environment, it’s new and clean with TV’s all over, but doesn’t feel chichy or rundown like some other places with 5 Billion TVs. I would definitely recommend this to just about everybody as I can’t really come up with a negative… PS — If you like soccer like I do, they have a great repertoire of La Liga, EPL and all the major European Leagues you can’t get at normal US bars/restaurants.

The server was super friendly(Danielle), she was very nice and friendly. She really didn’t know anything about beers though. When I asked her to detail certain beers she had no clue the difference between stouts and dark ales. The BBQ chicken flat bread was quite tasty, except there was no BBQ sauce on the flat bread. A little hint of BBQ flavor came off the chicken. I had the mile high turkey club. It was average in taste. Nothing spectacular, not worth $ 13… I might go here again for a UFC fight and some wings, but that’s about it…

The Stout is a great local pub. There are not that many good bar options at commercial and 95 but this is the exception. The apps are great from the mini bangers to the truffle fries. The rest of the menu is pretty good for a bar menu. The bartender girls are sweet and always there for the next round. The interior and ambiance are exceptional, far better than just some local dive for sure Just south is some nice places in Wilton manors, and Bokampers is a couple miles away at the beach, but in this locale it’s tough to beat Stout

Great place to watch a game and to grab a meal. Lots of good things on tap, and it is set up with a big bar, as well as lots of tables for more quiet dining. Everything I have had there is great. Salads, wings, sandwiches, lambbbbb… However – They close the kitchen early, and at times close it even earlier than is posted on the menu. This is a real downer, as I drive an hour to get there. Would it hurt to pay a cook an extra couple hours pay to stay until midnight? Only a couple orders, plus associated beverages and return trips, would more than offset the extra expense. The food and service is great, but the unpredictable kitchen hours kept me from giving Stout five stars instead of four. Inside is smoke-free, which is a BIG plus in my book. Lots of free convenient safe parking too.

I could see returning here quite frequently following a solid first visit. I was in the neighborhood, and was in the mood for a cheeseburger and beer. My fellow Unilocalers had good things to say about this place, which I had bookmarked a week earlier. So, I stopped in, grabbed a seat at the bar, and watched all kinds of sports on the numerous flat-screens. I was attended to very quickly, which I like. I started off with a Tucher, which is one of my favorite German beers, and it was a draught, too, which is hard to find. I tried a host of beers via their four-beer flight package, and finished it off with Funky Buddah Top Gun IPA. I had a simple cheeseburger with fries, which was really good. I always order my burgers medium well, and with everything on the side. The service was very good. Sara attended to me primarily, but there were two other bartenders working hard. Very friendly, and very nice. I was impressed that all of them seemed happy to be there. In my experience, one thing about South Florida is the service is very business-like, and bartenders often work with their heads down. Another pet peeve of mine is when workers talk about the job(or co-workers) to each other, while on the job. I was very impressed with the service here, and at Funky Buddah, Tap 42 and Saltwater in Delray. It seems like they’re really focusing on good service(and the customer), which makes these visits all the more enjoyable. Going to tell the co-workers about this place. We used to visit here a lot when it was Biddy Early’s. This was our place. It will be again, but with a different name — Stout.
