Wonderful food, wonderful service. This place is run by a nice couple who always remembers their regulars and greet new people in a very welcoming manner. 5⁄5 would eat again.

Sandwich tasted funny. Fish? Sliced my turkey after slicing fish sandwich? Gave it 2 because I didn’t get sick.

Oh Giant Burger, how I miss you. Best place to go on a late night after knockin’ back a couple brews.

i use to LOVE giant burger. I had heard that there was new owners at this location, but I haven’t been here for about 6 months or so. I stopped going due to the horrible service I received about a year ago, but I decided to give it another try and crossing my fingers that the new owners got rid of the rude old workers. The moment I walked in, I noticed a completely new staff who greeted me the moment I walked in. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger meal. They allowed me to replace the fries with some curly fries from my meal for no extra cost so that was defiantly a plus in my book. As I waited for my burger to be made, the waitress causally strikes a conversation with me, which was completely unexpected considering my experience last time. The waitress turns out to be one of the owner’s daughters. She gave me my order once my food was ready, and checked up on me to make sure everything was okay. The burger was perfectly cooked, and the curly fries were too addictive. Great food, topped with good service in Oakland? You can’t beat that

I don’t like bad food and I don’t want to have give a bad review but hey, I tried twice to love you. The first time you served me lunch I was very surprised to see grilled salmon with a green salad on the lunch menu at a greasy spoon burger joint, but you teased me and flirted your way into my wallet and I shelled out the nine bucks, and waited for the love to start. Dirty girl that you are… you gave me my salmon perfectly done and the sauce was really good. You gave me a ton of rice why I don’t know I guess to fill my plate. Ever hear of «Presentation»? The«Green Salad» was all lettuce knuckles; those yellowish middle parts that aren’t leafs and are impossible to separate to look like leafs so you cut them up in chunks… not cool and the wrong color to be seated next to my salmon. Bad — very bad. Today I again wanted to love you and your flirty ways once again, this time you teased me into a Cheese steak sandwich. Another extraction of my wallet… another 9 bucks. OK, love me with your Giant Sandwich YOUBADGIRL! The bread was wonderful but like the jeans on a fat girl it only hid the truth… The sandwich had waaaay too much cheese, there were bits o’steak — but seriously I’ve given bigger scraps of meat to pet lizards. This sandwich looked like like it was assembled by the kids from the Special Ed Department. The onions and green peppers were chunks not thin slices. Geez ever seen Food Network? No …you shall not tempt me further. Eating here is like taking your cousin to Prom, it isn’t exactly wrong, but it sure isn’t right — and you know what will happen later, you’ll be disappointed(unless you’re from the south).

It’s okay. Been going here for as long as I remember. Everytime we were in the area, my dad would take me there. One time the lady who worked there yelled at me dad to «Get out of my window».I guess he stuck his head to far in to order LOL. As for the food… once every 5 years or so is enough for me. I’d rather waste my money and raise my cholesterol by going to Nations on the daily.

Love Giant Burger! Yesterdays special: Philly Cheesesteak and fries — $ 5.99. Not bad. The bacon cheeseburger– YUM! The bun is even grilled, love that slightly greasy crunch on the edges of the bun! and a way better than burger than I’d ever hope for at McD’s or BK! I like these burgers alot more that Chubby Freeze(although those are better than the chains also!). Fries are good, not fabulous, thicker than the chains, but otherwise just the frozen sticks. They have a parking lot, the staff is friendly, although understandalbly wary of the riff raff in the neighborhood. There’s a counter to eat at inside, just a few(5 or 6 seats) They also have a few Chinese menu items, I haven’t tried any of these yet.

For how small Oakland Airport is it’s actually remarkable how much value you get from one of the few establishments there. Breakfast wasn’t cheap but it was plentiful and the bacon, eggs, potatoes and wheat toast were solid. Enough food for me to split with Natalie N. and kept me sated on the flight(foodless) from Oakland to Honolulu. I noticed they also have some Hawaiian like food on the menu(hamburger and gravy) which was pretty cool. I wouldn’t seek this place out but if I were at Oakland Airport again I wouldn’t hesitate to hit it up.
