I started with Adrienne simply because I wanted to improve my singing. I quickly realized that she was diversely talented in the music world. I now don’t consider her my signing teacher but my music coach. We work on all things music business from singing, songwriting, website development, arrangement, instrumentation, mixing and much more.
She blows the instructors out of the water that I had as a kid. I think I am a handful with my craziness and she adapted to my style very well!

:). I have been taking vocal lessons with Adrienne for two years. Doing that, has changed my life. She has taught me that singing goes way deeper than just pretty sounds coming out of my mouth. Lessons with Adrienne are nothing short of therapeutic. Most have focused on singing, while some have been focused on breathing and yoga moves, and some have been straight up piano and theory lessons. What I appreciate is that she tailors the lesson to my needs and really pays attention to what my needs are. We set goals together and we work towards them. At this current point in time, I am working on a demo and Adrienne is helping me reach the notes and develop better breathing technique. Even after two years, my voice changes for the better every week that I go. Taking lessons with Adrienne is a very wise idea for someone who is serious about transforming their voice and really getting in touch with singing as more than just belting out a throaty tune. After seeing Adrienne Shamszad play her guitar and sing at an event I had the thought «Wow…I would love to play and sing like that!» I used to play guitar and sing when I was younger but I lost motivation and confidence for a long time and just kind of stopped. I found out that Adrienne offered lessons and signed up. Lessons with Adrienne are so much fun and in no time I gained my ‘olé confidence back and started learning new songs and techniques. Adrienne is patient, encouraging and funny — a truly wonderful teacher. I still can’t play or sing like her but I’m getting better all the time … and I’m enjoying playing music and singing again after a long dry period.

In the last six months Adrienne has managed to help me improve my voice and confidence more than I have been able to on my own in 25 years! With her encouragement, I have actually done my first open mic successfully. My voice is much stronger, I have greater range, I now know how to properly sing into a mic, and I know when to add extra oomph. She’s also helped me to understand when to use my head voice, and just how far I can stretch the range of my chest voice. Plus, she’s patient and fun. Look no further.
