Rachelle is a power house of creative energy and free flowing passion. As someone who has been a guest teacher at her paint nights I can say that everyone leaves happy and joyous with what they created. Art as a form of fun expression and healing from daily life tasks is definitely what happens after leaving with your canvas. Though multiple paint party companies exist this one is special because Rachelle chooses to use local artist to conduct the class, local small artist who have a passion for art and a natural creative eye which allows for a easy going no pressure for ‘perfection’ when painting the demo, in fact we encourage you to be different and make it your own!

I love painting with Rachelle! She really encourages aspiring artists to get creative and she provides gentle direction along the way. I have attended a few events at SoMar Bar in Oakland and love the venue and the overall vibe. Rachelle has great taste in music and really knows how to put it all together for the most fun and creative experience. If you’ve been thinking about trying painting, give this artist a shot — it’ll be well worth it!

I’ve been to several Art Beat paint parties since they started and I think they’re an amazing, creative, fun activity for virtually anyone or any any group, for any size of people. Whether you’re looking for a group activity for your co-workers, your friends, a birthday party, with your parents, or even on a date, these are the best. Put down your phone, grab a drink and a paint brush, and have a great time creating while getting to know your neighbors. Rachelle, the instructor (and founder I believe) is energetic, encouraging and eager to help and guide anyone looking for guidance during the process. They always play some super cool music which makes the entire process flow naturally. The space is dope and centrally located in Jack London. Normally pretty easy to find parking. High recommended!

I love attending Art Beat Events paint nights, I usually bring my uncle with Down syndrome along, and Rachelle and her artists are always loving and encouraging towards him as well as the other patrons. it’s always a good time, and I’m definitely getting better with practice. I can’t wait for the next one.

Art Beat Paint Parties are the best way to de-stress and unwind! I love coming here after a work, knowing I get to be creative and escape the craziness of the day. Rachelle is super laid back, encouraging, and has an amazing way of guiding you through the piece. Her energy is so positive and makes you feel great as soon as you walk through the door. I highly recommend you grab a few friends and hit up her next event!

I usually go to the monthly event at Somar Bar in Oakland. It’s during Happy Hour every first Tuesday of the month. I highly recommend it. The vibe is great, especially after work when you just need to unwind. The painting experience is unforgettable, the instructors prepare everything for you (canvas, paint brushes, all the colors, an apron). They are very helpful and give great advice on different techniques. I am proud to say I am a bettering artist because of Art Beats Events! For my next birthday I will definitely book them for a private event, I know my friends would love it!
