Arte Verissima Studio and Gallery

Finally this place is on Unilocal!Well, in that case i must write a review.
A first too — yay!
I’ve been going here for a while and attended several workshops and gallery openings, and every time it’s been a blast. The art classes have great instructors, the uninstructed classes and sessions are fun as well and actually quite affordable. the figure in costume painting sessions are something different, most other places i’ve gone to draw or paint the figure its usually a nude so its a nice change.
Note: none of the workshops ive gone to provide materials so its good if you have your own plein air easel or pochade box as well as all materials needed.
As far the gallery shows go, they usually exhibit realist work, classical figurative and traditional but sometimes also with a modern twist. I am a fan of realist work so finding this gallery was quite refreshing. The staff is friendly and welcoming and they are very knowledgeable about the work and the artists.
A hidden gem on piedmont ave. Worth checking out. I’ll be back.
