I went here recently for my aunt’s art show and the art walk, and got to see and experience some pretty awesome pieces! It was cool to see how different art studios were designed and the variety of art pieces they had on display. I think the layout of the loft and studio was by far the coolest thing to see. It was the kind of place I had only ever seen in a movie, so seeing something like that in person was a super cool. I definitely didn’t expect to have as good of a time as I had, and didn’t think I would consider something like this a bucket list item. I definitely hope to get back here someday and to more awesome art shows and venues!

Like a Mecca I try my best to visit this gallery on Art Murmur night and Saturdays. While on the beaten path it’s local is one of the most secuded, but not the art. To me the pieces shown here have a high degree of human scale and serene works. Support arts and own something special today.

Cool place to explore new art! Nice digs hidden on 25th street. You should go take a look.

Ummm, okay. The artist was standing like a human statue in her own exhibition. Can I ask her questions or should I just toss some nickels into a hat? Oakopolis can be reached after walking down a long dark alleyway. After the doors you then have to walk down a long white hallway. The gallery space isn’t so big, but I liked the lively artwork: a collection of re-fabricated clothing and collages.

I LOVE Oakland. Between Telegraph and Broadway — This place is gorgeous! And, surprisingly for that scene, not pretentious, and truly creative. You must check it out! The best time to go is during the Oakland Art Murmur, which occurs every 1st Friday of each month: This place works in conjunction with«The Moon» gallery space: Check out their calendar: and upcoming WORKSHOPS: SUPPORTLOCALART!
