Barry Levitan and his crew are «top-​notched.» My wife and I had experienced severe water damage in our kitchen that resulted in wall, cabinet, and floor damages. Barry provided us with a clear scope of the work required and detailed estimated costs. With Mike leading the work, every detail was of the highest quality. Everything (plumbing, flooring, tiling, and cabinet finishing) was truly exceptional. We have an amazing kitchen. Thank you, Barry.

I am way overdue in writing this review — but the fact that I still cared enough to write it should tell you something! Barry is probably not the cheapest contractor in Oakland — but do you actually want the cheapest contractor? Think about it! You will get what you pay for. What was most important to me was to find someone who was reliable, honest, who could take my job in a relatively short period of time and do it well, on time and on budget. Barry met all of these criteria and his pricing was very fair. He and his team installed new kitchen counters for me. Barry was very honest and helpful and actually came with me to select the materials. It was finished on time, on budget and it looks great. He is very experienced — and I repeat — very reliable! I would work with him again in a heartbeat!

Since, I bought my house 8 years ago, Barry has been my go to contractor for plumbing or electrical repairs and all my construction renovations and upgrades. He even cleared a bunch of outstanding permits from the previous owner. Fast, courteous, fair prices and willing to work around my schedule.

Barry is a fabulous and experienced contractor (30+ yrs)! We needed a fast and reliable contractor to help us with renovations due to water damage. Thankfully, we made the right decision in hiring Barry Levitan Construction! He and his great crew got right to work and our kitchen turned out better than we hoped for! He and his crew do everything in house… meaning no subcontractors needed! His crew was able to do all the dry wall, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry and even fabricated the granite countertops! Who knew that doing business with a contractor could actually be a pleasure!

Great contractor! I’m an interior designer and have worked with Barry on several projects. He offers the perfect combination of honestly, communication and hard work. His bids are accurate and fair, and there will be no surprises at the end. He and his great, friendly crew are prompt and respectful, this is the easiest work relationship I’ve ever had with a contractor. He always answers the phone or gets back to you immediately.
