Black & Brown Comedy Get Down at Oracle Arena

BIG BIG SHOUTOUT… To Groupon! I swear I find some AMAZING deals on the site!
I had seen tickets for a comedy show and wasted NO time to buy them! $ 45 from originally $ 90 to see Cedric the Entertainer, Eddie Griffin, DL Hughley and Charlie Murphy?! Say what? Man, count me in!
The show happened on Friday August 28^th at 8pm. I was hesitant to go to my first comedy show by myself but I put my big girl pants on and said, «two tears in a bucket…» I arrived late (like always) and the show hadn’t started yet (thank goodness).
FOOD:
Was expensive as hell! 10 dollars for some nacho chips! OMG! BUT. BUT…They did have a great selection of food and those lines were LONG!
SEATING:
Seating was amazing! I was not close up but I was close enough! I even was able to get closer than my actual seating arrangement because after an hour in I made my way closer to the front! HAHA!
DID I LAUGH?
Of course I did! Louder than expected HAHA I was rollin! It was SO damn funny. My stomach still hurts from the show!
Cedric the Entertainer: I have watched him tons of times and especially in the Barbershop!
Eddie Griffin: He was hilarious in Undercover Brother.
D.L. Hughley: Watched him in The Original Kings of Comedy, Hughley was the also the first host of BET’s Comicview
George Lopez: I didn’t really know him but he was VERY funny!
Charlie Murphy: I know him as a cast member in the Chappelle’s Show
If they ever come back to Oakland or anywhere close I definitely plan to buy another ticket! I truly enjoyed myself and truly happy I put my big girl pants on and came!
