If I could I’d give it 0 stars I would! I placed my order at 2:27pm because me and my sister were hungry for some Chinese, it said the order would be here at 4:30 — 4:45 which seemed like a while but we gave them the benefit of the doubt but once it hit 5:20 we decided to call, I called the restaurant and I told the lady my concern and she said«it’s probably traffic or something ok he’ll be there» And hung up so I waited some more and I ended up waiting until 6:00 and I called and she refused a refund. Moral of the story they’re food is great but not great enough for a 4 hour wait

Really poor customer service. Awful! They called to tell me something was wrong with my order placed online. The woman was impolite and screaming as though we were at a noisy fish market. No hello or introduction of who she was. Her exact words were and it was said repeatedly louder and louder(You order food? Something wrong!). It was painful listening to her scream obnoxiously. Not to mention she had no decency to take me off speakerphone. My ears are still ringing. I will never order from them ever again. I don’t care how good or cheap the food might be. Awful!

Best Chinese food EVER!!! Various of choices and the food taste wonderful! It became my best choice while I’m too lazy to cook food at home. And I found they are serving sushi now!!! It’s really delicious! I am soooooooo happy to have one place that can serve both Chinese food and Japanese food!!! You MUST try it!!!

We ordered to-go party trays for our church and food was beyond expectations! The owners are very nice and the delivery was on time. I don’t really understand why the rating for this place is so low. We order their food twice a month for our church since everyone loved it and it’s super affordable =)

Great restaurant with great prices, I’ve been looking for a place in the Oakland area that has some great Chinese food, price, and taste. The place is a simple location, nothing fancy, but has everything you need and would want, including the taste. Ordered there Wonton Soup and was impressed, going to try their Mongolian Beef lunch special next! Definitely my new go-to place for Chinese food.

One of the best Chinese food in this area! Taste is very good for its price and owner treats ever customer like they are VIPs. I order To-go food a lot and this is easily one of my favorites. Flavor is right on the money(not too salty).

My friend introduced me to this place because they offered us a discount. The owner is friendly and very nice. Food tasted good and the price is very affordable with large portions. Overall, I would come back again and recommend them to other people.

Pretty sure they gave us real beef when we ordered imitation beef. Like 97% sure. Sinewy like real meat. I would be quite happy to be wrong right now. The other food was OK.

They deliver to Treasure Island in San Francisco and it’s great out-of-the-box Chinese delivery. Can’t ask for more.

Although their food is good, i just love their double mushroom chicken and spicy garlic sauce beef and chicken. Their service has gone WAYWAYWAY down. I have tried 3 times to order by phone and who ever that is just does not speak or understands English.(they really should, having a business downtown, lots of English speaking customers) well once I understood that they had no to go containers and they just hung up on me. Other time left me on hold and forgot about the call and that they left me on hold. But then i go down there, hey good they are busy. .or so I thought, no she was in the back talking away and no customers. I just walked out, they lost my business I’ll just take the free suttle to Chinatown and get my Chinese food from now on.

Conveniently located near downtown Oakland, and just minutes From 12th. St. BART Station. Their honey walnut prawns and scrambled eggs with tomatoes were greatly prepared, and tasted very good. Friendly and courteous service.

The chicken and egg rolls were so mushy. I only ate half. They delivered in 35 minutes though so that was cool.

Sadly, I have to give this place a low rating. I’ve ordered take out and delivery several times, and the consistency of the qualify of food is just not there. About the only thing I like from there is the soup. Plus, all the to go and delivery items spill all over the place(the non-soup items). They really need to package the items better. When you say no onions or no seafood, they will l put it in your food anyway, even if you have allergies, which is very important for me they not do, so be careful. I’ve messaged management about this and have not gotten a response. On the plus side, they are not very expensive.

I have had delivery 3 – 4 times, and they always arrive earlier than stated time. Food is solid, great dumplings and Mu Shu. Forget to stop at the store on the way home from work and nothing in the fridge? Give them a call.

This place is off the beaten path, the atmosphere isn’t much to speak of, when we looked inside, there were only one table of customers beings served. The staff wasn’t very attentive, English spoken was very minimal, but enough to get our orders in correctly. I tried inquiring what spices or ingredients are in one of their listed chef specialty dishes. I could ascertain that it was a little spicy. I went ahead to order that, but requested that it not be spicy. The woman pointed to some photos of their dishes right by their entrance, when I spotted a pork belly dish, so I changed my order to that. But she returned indicating that was not available, so I switched back to their braised whole fish under chef specialties, item # 8, USD11.95. She informed me to allow 20 minutes. I was fine with that. Another dish, under chow mein/fun/mi fun catagory, item # 6, Singapore style chow mi fun, USD8.95 arrived, was quite a large plate, enough of a light meal for two just by itself, flavorful without being spicy. The braised whole fish arrived, it was flavorful. They also offered seven dessert items listed, but we passed on that. The qualtiy of their food we tasted was fine rated 3 out of 5, but lacking in atmosphere, sticky tables, and minimal, not very good service along with very limited spoken English warranted my rating. Their menu stated free parking with USD20 minimum, but when we inquired, that wasn’t the case. No free wi-fi. Credit cards accepted.

Ordered from GrubHub. Food came within a half hour, delivery guy came to my door & was very polite. Tonkotsu ramen: It’s those packaged instant ramen kits you get from the fridge in an Asian market, with an egg added in. Fried wontons: I expected«wontons», but got deep fried wonton wrappers. Just big squares of grease. General Tso’s Chicken, Med: Bland & not spicy at all but okay with sriracha. Need fast hangover food? Go for it! It’s not the worst, but it’s not great Chinese food either. I might order again in a pinch but overall it’s just okay.

They used to deliver to my area(North Berkeley), but it appears they no longer do :( The food here is pretty good. I’ve only ordered delivery/takeout so I’m not sure what the actual restaurant is like, but I’d say the food is of medium quality aka it’s not as greasy/salty/cheap-tasting as some others I’ve tried, yet the prices remain pretty minimal. Definitely check out the lunch menu; you can get the same dishes from the dinner selection for a couple bucks cheaper(11am-3pm, I think). I love their hot & sour soup – nothing particularly special, just standard and, inherently delicious. The ma po tofu is great, and I’d love to try their dim sum sometime because they have a huge selection. I’d give the food a full 4 stars, but I’m docking 2 for customer service… yes, if you’re a restaurant owner, be advised: customer service DOES matter that much! The online ordering system is pretty painless, as is ordering delivery via phone. However, if you order in advance(setting a specific delivery time), they will sometimes ignore it completely, often coming 15 minutes earlier or 15 minutes late. This wouldn’t matter if I’d ordered on the spot, but when I want something delivered at 3 o’ clock, it’s an enormous inconvenience when the driver arrives at 2:45 when I myself have just gotten home and am getting undressed! The driver(same guy each time) is also pretty scary… the first time I ordered, I paid with my card so I assumed I could add a tip when the delivery arrived. The driver grunted«Tip?» holding out his hand, and I told him I’d add it to the receipt. «No, you need to pay with cash,» he demanded. That got me really suspicious and I told him I didn’t have any cash. He gave me the dirtiest look and just turned around to leave, without saying«enjoy your meal» or «goodbye» or even«OK.» Was he really holding a grudge because I couldn’t pay a tip with cash??? The look he gave me was also startling; I scurried back upstairs to my apartment with my food, praying I hadn’t included the apartment # in my order, and deadbolted the door when I got back inside. Lol

One star for online ordering and the friendly staff. But the food is pretty bad. The potstickers are deep fried either before or after their pan frying, which makes the tops of them hard like plastic. The stuffing is mushy and flavorless. Beef with Ginger and Scallions should be called Celery with Ginger and Scallions. It’s not terrible. Could be a lot better. Dumplings of all sorts were bland, flavorless, and thick-skinned. Hopefully the next owners will get better training on the dishes before they take over. «Not bad for the price» is not a $ 1,000 review.
