Great experience with Cabinets To Go. I checked out several places prior to purchasing their cabinets and none seemed to offer both quality and reasonable pricing. I love the Victorian white cabinets and got a great deal! Jamar was also very helpful with my design which made the experience enjoyable. I will definitely recommend cabinets to go to my friends.

Sales staff is great. The only problem is i have been having to send multiple items back due to defects in the wood such as nots with cracks threw tge board. The other thing that is not to costomer friendly is every time i have to return one of the defected parts it takes 2 weeks for it to come in. Then i have to drive back to oakland to get them. Its becomming a head ace.

Wish there is zero star that i can choose. Stay away from this company. Yes. their cabinets might be a little bit cheaper than others. BUT you have to deal with mistakes after mistakes after mistakes
…it just like nightmare that never end. And it’s nothing they can or will do. Very poor inventory control. There’s no guarantee that when your order will arrive at the same time, and the condition of the items (it is VERY usual for them that your order got damaged while shipping or not available after you complete your order).

I will never use Cabinets to Go for another home flip of mine. It has been a stressful nightmare! I thought I’d give them a try, and it’s been one mistake after another on the order.
You would think that when there’s been a mistake or something they did, they would expedite the shipment so your renovation could move forward as soon as possible. Well that is not the case with Cabinets to Go. Each time it takes at least two weeks, or more, and usually more, to get the items that are wrong or damaged, replaced.
I first ordered my cabinets on July 29^th at the Bolingbrook, Illinois store and I thought my nightmare was finally over today September 21^st when I called the store (and I always have to call them) and they said the 2 cabinets I needed to complete my kitchen were in their warehouse. I picked them up, brought them to the house and opened up the box with the upper cabinet, and the door is cracked the back of the cabinet is missing the hardware, and there is other damage. The upper cabinet is totally unusable. I am exhausted, frustrated and at my wits end with Cabinets to Go. Never again, will I do business with them! (I really don’t think they care anyway.) I can’t wait to be done doing business with them!!!
I will do business with Home Depot, they have just as nice of cabinets and their pricing is very competitive and they really do care if the order gets messed up in anyway. They are very prompt about fixing any problems, unlike Cabinets to Go.
My advise, if you want a smooth renovation with your kitchen cabinets, stay away from Cabinets to Go.

I had nothing but a wonderful experience at the Oakland Cabinets To Go. Mary Ann took great care in making sure that everything was perfect. My kitchen looks amazing.

Having price out cabinets at a number places, I decided to try Cabnets-​To-​Go for one of my lower end renovations, being assured of the high quality of the cabinets and ease of assembly. When we began to assemble the cabinets, it became regrettably obvious that I had made a very expensive mistake! The directions were marginal at best, but more relevant was the quality of the material. Boards were severely warped; the fasteners were marginal at best, and assembly was not easy! We were promised assistance — which never happened! We were promised credit for the warped material, which also never happened! This whole experience was a nightmare! If yhe end product was great, it would have been worth the grief, but sadly IT WAS NOT WORTH IT! Go anywhere else!

Like so many other reviews, mine is really no different. Went in and ordered the cabinets, did my own design… so I didn’t need their «Design» services. Was told at time of order that it would be 3 weeks till I can pick up kitchen cabinets. We are now at 6 weeks. I finally have all cabinets. However the bank of drawers came with NO drawers. Still have no idea when those are coming. 1 of 2 Lazy Susan’s was Extremely Damaged. And for that they want to open up a «Claims Process» it was delivered damaged! See pictures! Everywhere on the USA you take a product back to the store if you open something and find it damaged. That’s a California Law. Mandatory 1 year warranty. Now they want to try and contest it? No it doesn’t work hat way. So we go down today with their hours clearly posted open at 11am on Sunday only to find a note on the door that says closed today! What kind of crap company is this? You call them, they say «We will call you back in 10min» 2 days later still no call. You send emails… No response… You go to the store when they are supposed to be open and they are closed with a hand written note on the door. There are many other cabinet companies out there that you can deal with. This one is by far the worst yet. They are completely incompetent, and have zero communication skills. You could liken this company to a bunch of those sleazy used car salesman, they use the «used car salesman tactics» then after they get your money, that’s when you find out who you’re really dealing with. We ordered a bathroom vanity from Cabinets to Go in late November and were told that it wouldn’t be available until mid-​January. Since we were going to have house guests over the holidays, this was fine. However, when I called in January to check on our order, I was told that the shipment had been delayed. I agreed to wait another several weeks; we liked the looks of this vanity, and there isn’t much choice for ones that are 42 inches wide. Finally, on a Monday in early April, we were told that our vanity was due in, and we’d get a call when it was ready for pickup later in the week. Of course, no one called. The following Monday I called and found out that it was ready, so we went to pick it up. We needed to remove the vanity from its packaging in order to put it into the back of our Subaru, and we were helped by a nice and helpful employee named (I think) Scott (or Sean?) – the one bright spot in that disappointing day. It was a lot of work to unpack the vanity and get it into the car, and we didn’t want to delay our helper too long by examining every inch of it. However, once the vanity was inside our bathroom, it was clear that the finish was much darker than the one that was pictured online – so dark that the «dark cherry» finish was almost black. I called the store and was told that since we took the vanity out of its packaging and took it home, there was no possibility of a return. Period. My husband ended up stripping the vanity cabinet, only to discover that it is poorly constructed (one mortise-​and-​tenon joint doesn’t even fit into the slot; it was glued in place OUT of the slot). Also, the vanity cabinet was made out of a combination of soft wood and particle board veneered with hardwood. The black granite top is extremely thin and looks like low-​grade granite (no visible grain). The one thing I’ll say is that the vanity was relatively inexpensive, which just proves that you get what you pay for.

I’m not sure if my expectations were higher or my disappointed was must worst. The showroom is pretty mediocre and small. There was the receptionist who helped us with creating the layout, but she just wasn’t insistent enough to make me want to purchase cabinets. My sister and I redoing my mother’s kitchen and while the cabinets are beautiful, the pricing is through the roof. The quote they gave us was $ 6,000. You might think, that is not so bad, but that was just for the cabinets. Oh and they have the nerve to charge you for the hinges to the cabinets. Seriously? Imagine every hinge for the cabinets you are getting, you have to pay for. The handles are also not included and you have to assemble them yourself. RIP OFF. The 40% off than most stores does not seem to apply here. Even Home Depot is a lot cheaper!
I was completely turned off on their overpricing of cabinets. The only good thing is that they do provide you a free layout. Safe to say we went elsewhere and got a steal for great quality cabinets at Granite Expo!

My husband and I went in on ³⁄₂₂ to design our kitchen and get a quote. At first, it seemed like a very easy and straightforward process. We gave the measurements and how we would like the kitchen designed. We were told that we would receive the mockup of our kitchen along with an estimate within 24 – 48 hours. It has now ⁴⁄₂ and we still have nothing from them. I’ve called twice, and never got a call back. I have emailed them from an email I found on their website and was finally just told that there were 2 customers with the same last name, so there was a mixup. Which is a lie because they asked me to resend them everything so they could get us the mockup and measurements, meaning they lost everything from when we came in. If it is this much of an ordeal just to get a quote, I can’t imagine how it would be to actually do business with them. Steer clear!

If you want fine cabinetry for just right price, then cabinets to go is the place you want to look. I ordered the beautiful west minister glazed toffee and had it installed in my summer home in Lake Tahoe. I am pleased to say that Adrian did a fine job in helping me design my dream kitchen and even gave us detailed instructions in how to build the cabinets. Way less confusing then ikea cabinetry. Overall Very impressive costumer service (:

Ordered the Roberto Fiore cabinets. Beware!!! The cabinets are not finished on the sides. They come in basic light maple pressed wood. You have to order panels to cover them up. Ordered in June, still waiting for some cabinets and all of the door, drawer fronts and panels are on back order until who knows when. Called mulitple times to get them to send the 2 remaing cabinets from my order that they have gotten in. No luck. They’re holding them back. Unfortunately the are base cabinets and have my kitchen remodel in limbo because i can’t get my countertop and sink in until I receive the cabinets. Never again!!!

We used the Plano, Texas Cabinets to Go store. We had seen a friend’s kitchen who had used Cabinets to Go. They seemed like quality cabinets. When we ordered our cabinets they were on sale and we got 0% interest for two years. We worked with Tom. He was very helpful in planning the design for our kitchen. We had some modifications and he didn’t seem upset in changing the plan. We did not use some of the cabinets ordered because we opened up our kitchen making an island. When we cancelled these cabinets we were charged a 20% restocking fee. This will be on the contract you sign with Cabinets to Go.
When we placed our order we were given a May 1,2014 date as our delivery date. Our cabinets were all in and ready to pick up on May 24,2014. We felt that this wasn’t too bad. I felt at times that the staff (especially Rob) was irritated when I would call and inquire when our cabinets would be in. I was told that many cabinets had been out of stock since Christmas. That didn’t exactly make me feel better. They said they were having trouble with their supplier. I would say that when you place an order, expect there to be some delay before everything arrives.
Now, the good part. We love our cabinets! We ordered the Victoria Ivy. They are so beautiful — solid wood. I was a little intimidated when I looked at the stack of boxes. I thought it would take FOREVER to put them all together. Well, I was wrong. Some I had together in 5 minutes. After they are together you have to add very small «L» brackets with tiny screws. This step took longer than assembly. I did have to ask help from a knowledgable friend to set the first drawer rails. After that it was a snap! Understand that I love the challenge of putting things together. I’m sure the price is more reasonable because you do your own assembly.
Overall this was a good experience with Cabinets to Go. I think customer service suffered a bit because the staff was frustrated with their supplier. Just keep calling and ask about your cabinets. Overall we didn’t feel that 3 weeks was an unreasonable time to wait. I would recommend Cabinets to Go in Plano, Texas.

I would give 8 stars but I can’t and it’s all because of the service from ADRIAN.
This review is long overdue as I’ve used them in my kitchen remodel back in September 2013. Before visiting this showroom I called the 1800 number to see the store hours (The automated message said they close at 6pm). I got there at 4:10pm with my family in tow. The gate was locked and the hours on the door said 4pm. I was pissed because we drove all this frikin way. We were getting back in the car. Adrian comes out and I open up my window and tell him his message for store hours was wrong and he said that that message was meant for the east coast. He then tells me to come on in anyways and he could help me out really fast as they are closed.
Adrian helped me and my noisy family til 8:30pm. He took my design and revamped it for his cabinets. Helped me customize better in relation to how we cook, what cabinets were needed and their proper location. He also provided great advice that I still get from him to this very day that has to do with my kitchen and my future bathroom remodel. He even gave me a discount on the discount. He went well above and beyond his customer service for the company and his customers. The world needs more people like him.
If you are an avid DIY like me, like All Wood cabinetry, don’t mind assembling stuff like IKEA, and have a very strong dislike for MDF or particle board, then Cabinets To GO is a place TO GO.

One word sums up this business! OVERPRICED! I wanted only 4 small cabinets and the cost was $ 1,200.00, are you kidding me? So, I went a got a quote from other cabinet retailers and 1 cabinet maker. I quoted $ 600.00, and the cabinet maker quoted $ 354.00. What a difference?!
On the plus side the manager and his assistant were both very polite and professional!

Wow was I impressed with the vanity I bought here. Tim really understood the what I was looking for, and my niece enjoyed the coloring books and candy they have in the store. Highly recommend going here– you cant beat the quality and service.
I just wish it was in a better location, but five stars for everything else!

We also had a similar BAD experience with Cabinets 2 Go. Again, customer service is absolutely awful. The price/​quality is pretty good, but that wont do you much good while you sort out the problems with your order for 4 months. They nearly ruined our remodel project.
We went into the store to look at the cabinets in person, and liked what we saw. We weren’t ready to order, but we got talked into putting down a deposit in order to lock in a 10% discount. We then went home to really start planning the project. After they had our money, getting a hold of anyone was near impossible. We typically had to call/​e-​mail 4 times to get 1 response. We probably would have given up at this point if we hadn’t already paid. After an unnecessarily tedious planning phase, I asked for them to e-​mail me a copy of the order so I could approve it. They said no problem, and then never sent anything.
When I called back to remind them to send me the order, they said they already placed it but assured me if anything was wrong they have 100% return policy and can order replacements in 2 weeks. They also said my order would take 2 weeks and that they would send me a copy of the invoice. THEY DIDN’T. 2 weeks later I called back, and they said cabinets will arrive next week and that they would send me a copy of the receipt. This routine of telling me the cabinets would arrive next week, and then not sending me an invoice continued for 3 MONTHS.
We had contractors all lined up for flooring, granite, etc. Eventually we just told them to forget about it until our cabinet people get their act together. 4 months later they called me (first time they ever were proactive about anything) to let me know my cabinets have arrived. We drove down to pick them up, and guess what… the order was all wrong. After, dealing with the bad attitudes of the salespeople for 4 months we weren’t to excited about working with these morons again. We simply wanted to return them given the absolutely awful level of service.
THEY REFUSED TO HONOR THE RETURN POLICY. This speaks volumes about the level of professionalism you can expect. I ended up having to dispute the charge on my CC. Luckily they forced Cabinets 2 Go to honor their contract and refund the money for cabinets that arrived 4 months late and incorrect.

I’m now in the prosses of a second order for another kitchen and the prices and serves simply can’t be beat… I’m a electrician, I trusted these people with my kitchen and just recommended them to my client. Again rock star pricing and solid help and design assistance.

I am not a big Unilocaler — I’ve only reviewed twiced before because of positive experiences. However, I feel it is my obligation to help people steer clear of this place. I would really give this NO stars, but that’s not an option. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY. I have shoveled out thousands of dollars and have received damaged good and THE WORST customer service I have ever experienced. Here are just a few examples of what we’ve had to deal with:
1. After planning out our kitchen through their design software, our order was automatically placed based on our design. HOWEVER, for some reason not all of the cabinets were ordered, and then WE were blamed for not ordering it. If it’s on the drawing, and it’s automated, how is that our fault?
2. Once missing cabinets were re-​ordered, we called back 2 weeks later to see if they were in stock yet — one of them had been in stock the whole time, and the other was never ordered for us.
3. Received broken cabinets and drawer pieces. Drove back to the place to pick up the replacements (a 45 minute drive one way for us), got home, and the replacements were broken.
4. After complaining about the service, the missing pieces and broken components, we asked them to ship it to us so we didn’t have to go up there for a third time. They said we needed to pay for shipping. HELLO — customer service 101… are you nuts???
I despise this company and the people who work there, and I am still dealing with the mess. Buyers beware — if you’re looking for a quality product and reasonable service, don’t bother coming here.

First let me say that I was a bit worried about driving to Richmond as a single young female. But it’s right off the freeway in an industrial area near Point Richmond, so the area was fine.
I came into the store with nothing more than some measurements and a can do attitude. I was immediately greeted by Tim, I think he’s the manager. He showed me all the cabinets and options available. I got a little side tracked by all the beautiful bathroom vanities (the bathrooms next)! I was really impressed by how sturdy the cabinets were. I’d gone to Ikea and Home Depot and was turned off from the shoddy construction, not to mention the price tag. So between the nice selection, solid cabinetry, awesome price, and the no pressure yet helpful service I was sold. I threw some cabinets in the back of my truck and took them home. A friend of mine who’s good with construction came over last weekend to help me install them. No joke, these cabinets took us an average of 5 minutes to put together. We got all the cabinets installed in a day! I’m gonna have to wait longer for my counter top to arrive then I did for my cabinets.
