It’s finally time I did a review of the place I live. I’m going to skimp a bit on details, just for security reasons, and because I don’t need to comment on the other residents. However, the place is pretty awesome — it’s a 1960s building, although with various 1980s or new updates depending upon the unit. Mine has the original 1960s oven, which still works great. Most of the units have underground parking, and many have a large storage area too(some have a small one), where I put much of my windsurfing gear. Some of the units have a rather awesome view of the bay — I can just see the Richmond bridge from my balcony, and the view isn’t too bad, although a bit cool to sit out on much of the year. There’s a bus stop right across the street, which includes the trans-bay express, and Bart is about 12 minutes walk. There’s awesome walks to be had through upper Rockridge, including to the local supermarket, which is about 10 minutes. Not somewhere I want to stay for ever, but pretty nice.
