It’s around the corner where I live. I like the CHAPINPAN. I recommended it to you guys. Fresh bread. And delicious…

The bread didn’t convince me that much. I do like the fact that they have lots of products from Guatemala.

Chapinlandia Bakery isn’t visible on a drive by. no hanging signs. noticed them when i walked by the storefront. other reviews mention this is a guatemalan bakery not a mexican one. goods: chocolates, can goods behind counter, breads, pastries in enclosed shelves baked goods 3/1.30 –semisweet pastries tasted day old at first bite. by 2nd bite, it was all good –ness. –cheaper than mexican bakeries. pour: coffee(1) «ambiance»? brand –smooth, tad of acidity, not so bold crumbs: — –cheap eats, coffee, –fast, courteous service

You could smell the bread baking blocks away. Being Guatemex myself I miss Guatemalan spots I use to frequent often in LA. Luckily this little cozy bakery has a few hard to find Guatemalan items and brands. Many choices of freshly made bread ranging from conchas, empanadas de pina y queso y vanilla, cuernitos, pan de coco, and much more. The bread will not be all hard the next day either! Many pictures on the wall of beautiful Guatemala, friendly customer service, and a very clean little spot. The bread is not overly sweet, and it’s fluffy as can be. Great with a warm cup of Incasa coffee or a freshly made Atole with marimba soundtracking the experience.

Great Guatemalan bakery. The best empanadas de queso and quesadilla. The other breads are good too.
