This store in located in a plaza that looks sketch. First of, the parking lot is filled with randoms just chillin’ When you walk in you are greeted almost immediately. They have a huge selection of clothes & shoes(boots galore) I noticed that every 15 – 20 mins for the first hour we were there they would have a check in where someone would go over the intercom to make sure everything was okay with the cashiers. It instantly made me really nervous as I would assume they do this because there have been robberies in the past –_– Their clearance sections were clearly marked so per usual, I went straight for it. Their sales are actual sales. 20 dollar items became 5 dollars, they even had Levi items! Great deals! Since it was almost fall season when I was shopping here, they had summer sandals on sale for crazy cheap. Like 4 dollar sandals! Love their selection of boots. They even had boots to fit wide feet. A-MAZ-ING! In order to access the dressing room, you have to let one of the associates know. Okay, so to explain the picture: WHENLOOKINGATTHEDRESSINGROOMS, THEONEALLTHEWAYTOTHELEFTISTHEONEWHERETHECAMERAFACESTHEMIRRORINTHEDRESSINGROOM. SOIT’S POINTEDATTHEMIRRORANDYOUCANBESEENUNDRESSING. I didn’t realize this until my friend point it out. I was horrified –_– Come to find out the security camera footage can be seen from the corner tv by the front. Wandering into the accessory section, we noticed they had plus-size jewelry! I have never heard of that so I was quite impressed. They also had some security tags on more things than I think necessary but I believe there is a method to their madness. Getting cashed out wasn’t long & I wouldn’t hang out in the parking lot too long. Just sayin’ Will I be back? Meh, probably not.

This is my spot. I find a lot of super cheap cute stuff here. The workers are cool. My only complaint is that it’s hard to find someone on the floor to open fitting rooms

If you like Applebottom jeans and the boots with the FUUUUUUR… come here! Lots of womens, kids, mens, and boys clothing. I found a few cute dresses but didn’t buy them. The register was down at the time and the 20 black ladies waiting in line all looked like they were going to riot so I left the store. I will return – good place to get something to wear once for a little event you have going on.

Citi Trends is not a thrift store, I don’t know where Unilocal got such an idea. That said, this is a good local spot to pick up brand-name(and not so brand-name) clothing for discount prices. The people who work here aren’t always the friendliest, but they offer clothing for people of all shapes and sizes from brands like Baby Phat, House of Dereon, and more — and the price points are hard to beat. The styles are similar to what you’d find at places like Rainbow next door, but it’s a good place to find basics, and they have clothing for all members of the family.

First off Citi Trends is not THIRFTSTORE! I kept hearing about this place and finally decided to check them out. They carry name brand clothes, along with non name brands. You can shop for the whole family here. Carry infants, childrens(boys & girls) Junior, Young Mens, Mens(Big Men’s Clothes) Women’s and Plus Sizes. You can find purses, books, perfume and shoes too. They also have layaway. Also they are right in the shopping plaza next door to rainbow, so you shouldnt have a hard time finding them. Place is clean and people are friendly. Accessible by bus(88 Market and 13⁄14) and a 10 – 15 min walk from Bart(12th St or West Oakland). I found some great baragins there and I know you will like it too.

citi trends seems to be a clothing outlet that serves the inner city and/or budget minded shoppers. this one occupies a former korean market. they carry shoes, slacks, jackets and, tops, for men and women. music:hip hop, soul scored some supersized faded denims(12.99) that i couldn’t find at macy’s, sears etc. for the same price. yes, it’s chinese made, and the material is thinner… security is pretty tight in the store. they even check how many garments you are going to try on. the dressing rooms are also locked. never had any troubles here. but i never come here at night either.
