Horrible. Just horrible. I can barely talk about what they did to my grandmother here without getting a knot in my stomach. I don’t want to go into details but we had to buy her a jacket to cover up the fluids that had leaked all out on to her beautiful blouse… and then at the service you could see liquids running out of her mouth and the make up job was HORRIBLE… This was definitely NOT the final image I wanted in my mind of my grandmother. I will never go back here again… and would never recommend it.

What a disrespectful place! I just called to ask about services for Brandy Martell, and Lisa, the mortuary staffer, refused to refer to Brandy as anything but Milton, her birth name, and only reluctantly conceded that they were the same person. Unsympathetic, officious, barely polite and clearly unwelcoming –and unable to deal with GLBT people appropriately– as a minister in the area I will actively discourage anyone from using their services.

Very professional Old School of Cool staff!
I can’t say I wanna go back but it seems like every year I visit the place.
Its the «No Ho zone» on East 14th cuz it seems like no one wants to walk by the place fearing that they’ll be a guest.
I like the little garden on the side.
I kinda hope not to go back too soon though.

So there is nothing better than paying your last respects and seeing plastic deer, Gnomes, and the rest of the disney characters outside. In the larger portion of CP Bannon, you can look outside and see these plastic mythical creatures in the east oakland forrest. WIth that being said, I have nothing bad to say about this place. Looking for a Mortuary call CP BANNON!

The services provided by the staff at CP Bannon were outstanding. Both my parents and several other relatives remains have been left in the care of this mortuary. They are efficient, helpful and understanding during your hours of sadness. I still cant believe the remains require underwear !! LOL
