Eight Orchids

First off, let me say that I rent in this building. Secondly, it’s actually an incredible spot. I love the layout of the apartments. I love the location. I love the leasing company (Pacific Sales & Management is a real pleasure to work with — great employees — reliable service). I love Rafael, the super, who works harder than any man on Earth. That being said, everything in the building is always broken. They Mahjong Room has been «closed for renovations» since I moved here 6 months ago. The garage door is wonky and fails to open all the way sometimes (making for a very tight squeeze getting your car in and out). The main elevator is out of service LITERALLY HALF THE TIME. That’s not a big deal for me and wifey, we can walk around back, but there are many seniors in the building, and it must really inconvenience them. The front buzzer is broken often as well, forcing you to key yourself in the front door (which is not easy). If things were not always broken, this 2 star review would be a 5 star review 100%.

Extremely beautiful building. The upkeep is consistant and it’s always clean. The condo I live in is gorgeous and spacious. The only complaint I have is because it’s close to the Salvation Army there tends to be a lot of garbage in the back area where the dumpster is. Also there are a lot of homeless in eye’s view from the overpass. I wish they allowed access to the 9^th floor roof too.
