Big Love! We ordered cupcakes and cookies for my son, Emmet’s first Birthday party. He is allergic to eggs so we needed to find a somewhere that could do vegan baked goods. Soo happy we found Fat Bottom! The cookies were delicious and the cupcakes were super moist and spongey… sooo good! Emmet loved his very first cupcake experience :) and I was actually secretly happy to have a few left over to take home! Also, they were very friendly and flexible. Emmet had gotten sick the weekend we were supposed to have his party so we had to move weekends and the ladies at Fat Bottom were so helpful and understanding. I will definitely be going back for future sweet treat needs!

Holy Sh*t. Just purchased and scarfed a chocolate dipped chocolate chip cookie from the Hella Vegan Eats Pop Up. How do they get their vegan cookies to turn out like this?! It’s truly amazing. Best. Cookie. Ever!

Fat Bottom Bakery just recently prepared the cupcakes and cake for my wedding and they were AMAZING to work with!!! Right from the beginning, they were nothing but professional, organized and warm! The cakes were FANTASTIC and all of our guests kept coming up to us and telling how delicious the cakes were. They delivered and set everything up, so it was totally stress-free for us! Thank you for being so wonderful and making our wedding day delicious! ;)

Fat Bottom Bakery darlings deliver(often by bike!) amazing baked goods to my tiny tea shop throughout the week. They delight my customers one shortbread/cookie/scone at a time and that makes me super happy. The savory cashew scallion scone is how I first fell in love(and still a favorite), but they continue to impress. Grateful to them for their amazing baked goods and proud to serve on my menu!

So let me first point out that I haven’t had anything other than cupcakes… but you have to know I order them annually for a reception held on my college campus. We announce they are vegan, people wrinkle their noses, and then try it. Within 15 minutes, the trays of cupcakes I have purchased are CLEANEDOUT! These cupcakes are flavorful, delicious, and always a hit. Yup, ordering a few more dozen in April, once again!

Fat Bottom Bakery provided a cupcake tower for our wedding in June, complete with a 6-inch cake on top for our cake topper and for us to cut. It looked fantastic! Everyone at our wedding commented on how great it looked, and it was hard to keep the kids away from the cupcakes before it was cake time. All of our guests also commented on how yummy the cupcakes were, and they didn’t even know they were vegan until we told them! Ashley and Carolynn were great, and the Bay Area is lucky to have them as vegan option!

Fat Bottom Bakery purveys vegan baked goods, including cupcakes. since i was already half-baked by the day’s events, i wasn’t in the mood for cakes… no problem. LEMONADE! locale: oakland art murmur(6⁄1) drink: lemonade(2) –refreshing, natural, no sugar added., fresh squeezed? no doubt. will try their deliz cupcakes some other time.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for these yummies for a while now and since I’ve been ogling google images of cupcakes and morning buns for the last half hour I’m going to write a review rather than trying to make croissant dough at 9pm on a work night;) I had the good fortune of trying these cupcakes at a Thanksgiving dinner and was hooked. Imagine my shock when I discovered they were vegan! I subsist primarily on dairy products and I was floored when I found out that my beloved butter and cream were nowhere to be found. I though about those cupcakes for weeks after eating them so when my sweetheart’s birthday came around I jumped at the chance to splurge on a dozen. The lovely bakers were super accommodating with my tight pick-up window and the cupcakes were a total hit., beautiful and delicious. Even though I’m getting to an age where I am beginning to fear birthdays, I’m looking forward to my next one so I’ll have an excuse to buy another dozen:)

I tried their cupcakes at a little co-op in San Francisco and they were pretty good, so we hired them for our daughter’s bday. The cupcakes we got then were really dry and the kids didn’t like them. It was a bit of a pain to return the cupcake pedestal we rented from them. Kind of a bummer.

These cupcakes are amazing. The lovely owners of this business are amazing. When you bring 3 dozen cupcakes to a birthday party and everyone loves you forever, well, that’s amazing too. I know they sell these cupcakes at a few locations, but I SO wish they had a storefront so I could swing by to add some more amazing to my life. sigh.

Scrumdidliumptious cupcakes! These are among the best cupcakes I’ve ever had. That they’re vegan only provides the icing(ha). You kinda feel good about eating them you know? Minimal guilt. I definitely don’t get that heavy, slightly sick feeling I get after consuming other cupcakes. Actually, I feel pretty darn good, even after eating two or three in an hour. I ordered their pumpkin, carrot, chai, red velvet, chocolate mint and lemon vanilla for The Rentacular Spectacular( event). Carolyn and Ashley are super nice and easy to work with for large orders. They custom colored frostings to match the color of our logo and were flexible with the pick up time. All 200+ cupcakes were perfectly packed and survived a trip to Golden Gate Park. I wish I could say I got to try all of them but they were snatched up pretty quick. I’ll just have to make a trip out to Oakland to get my chai cupcake fix… Pumpkin cupcake dossier: — incredibly moist — cake: frosting ratio is just right — not overly sugary I wish they left us with cards or had stickers on their boxes, because people kept asking where the cupcakes came from. People couldn’t believe they were vegan. Note, cash or check only at this point, no credit cards.

I am lactose-intolerant and because of that tend to stay away from icing. Imagine my surprise at finding a dairy-free(Vegan) cupcake that is actually moist and delicious! Are you imagining it? It was pretty flippin sweet(pun intended).

Finding a good vegan cuppie is difficult and few folks do it well. HUGEUPS to Fat Bottom for being 100% vegan and 100% delicious. I had a chocolate cuppie at the YEE event and I will be making a trip from Santa Cruz up to «The Town»

It looks like as of the day after my review, FBB posted a menu/pricing on their blog(thanks to Andrew C. for messaging me to tell me). I’m hoping it doesn’t get lost in the shuffle as other blog posts are added on top of it, because it very clearly gives all pertinent information that one would need to place an order — perfect! I may have to place an order for the upcoming 1st birthday of He-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed…mmmmmm…cupcakes!!!

I ordered a dozen Red Velvet cupcakes for Valentine’s Day ’11. They were very helpful to my custom icing requests. These gals know their business. Very professional and spunky. No need to look anywhere else for your cupcake needs. They only deal with cash or check so be prepared to order and pay at time of pick up, which can be tough for some folks to handle.

MYBOYFRIENDBOUGHTMECUPCAKESDAYBEFOREBIRTHDAYANDASHLEY(???) DELIVERED! CANYOUSAYMOIST!!! I had no idea… security calls my desk and tells me the bakery’s here with my order. I’m confused, but I go downstairs anyway, and it’s a box of 24 tiny cupcakes! Let’s just say I’m a cupcake fanatic, and I like these like I like CupKates(yes, the ones from the mobile cupcake truck). Did I mention they’re moist?

Ran into Fat Bottom Bakery at the Eat Real Fest @ Jack London Square the weekend of Aug 28th/29th. Can you say, OMG? Say it again? OMG! I purchased the mini red velvet cupcakes and just about died with OMG as my last words. Not only are these bite sized treat delish, they are like pure buttery heaven in one or two bites. I want me some more! Will contact them and special order a few for myself :-)

At the Eat Real Festival this weekend in Oakland I seen a girl eating a TINY Red Velvet cupcake and I knew I had to have one. I nudged my boyfriend and said«You see that cupcake, I want one.» And he nudged me back and said«Look to your right.» And there it was — Fat Bottom Bakery with the TINY Red Velvet cupcakes. It was a two bite cupcake and I let the boyfriend eat the other bite(only because he bought it.) We were both surprised at how moist this TINY cupcake was and how delicious it was. Did I mention it was TINY?! It was so cute :)

My husband loves sweets, for his 30th bday I thought something baked by the FBB would be the perfect gift! I ordered their amazing raspberry bars. They were all gone the next day :)
