Fikir sold ethiopian food. looked like a family operation or a close gathering of acquaintances.
locale: laurel street fair (⁸⁄₁₁)
menu: samosas, strawberry lemonade, sigar tibs, (chicken) tibs, wot (lentil-5)
eats: sigar tibs (7) marinated strip loins wtth garlic, bell peppers, .in an injera (ethiopian flat bread). fascinating flavors. veggies not visible, must be dissolved into the meat. injera was fun to eat, like a spongy pita bread.

foodnotes:
–service very slow, food took 15 minutes? (inexperience no doubt) apologies given.
–just paper flyer on tent, type written menu hard to read.
–samosa samples bland.
–maybe i would wait in line again (if i had a book).
