Fran Donohue

Fran helped us buy our lakeside apartment as our first foray as homeowners, then helped us sell it 3 years later when we outgrew it! We love Fran. She is down to earth, practical, absolutely respected our budget when we were buying, showed us everything we wanted to see, and worked hard to get us top dollar when we sold. When we were buying it was during a tough market full of short sales and bidding wars. We wrote a few offers and Fran was there to talk us through the process nearly ²⁴⁄₇! When we realized that we needed to shift gears from single family homes to apartments or townhouses, Fran was supportive and never tried to talk us into anything or pressured us in any way. Fran also totally got our taste and was completely on the same page with us, which was really great too. Because we sold during a peak time, the sale time was short, but Fran’s resources – staging company, window washers, photographers, etc. – were invaluable. We got offers WAY above asking and even our expectations. We decided to wait to buy again, but we will definitely work with Fran again!

This was our second time working with Fran. She helped us buy the house in 2010 and when we decided to sell to move closer to family she was the first and only person we contacted to sell in 2013. Her local knowledge was key in getting the most possible for our house upon selling. She gave us advice on staging, accenting the homes best features, and general touchup. We took all of her suggestions to heart and made the suggested changes. We were amazed at the traffic she was able to drive to our house through her connections with other area realtors and ad placement. We ended up with multiple strong offers well above asking. This is long overdue. I closed escrow in February 2011. Fran was very helpful with purchasing my condo. She is very patient and always giving service with a smile, even when I was very frustrated with the whole process. She is also very accommodating, willing to meet up later into the night to fit my work schedule. She gave me plenty of warning and what to expect about being a first time home buyer, so I would not get caught off guard. Fran, being a former loan officer, gave me different scenarios and cost estimates that were almost dead on, so I can budget carefully. She made my first time home buying experience a pleasant one. Even after the purchase, she continues to help me out for any questions or concerns that I have.
