Get Goes Mobile Cafe

Really great coffee that’s a life saver when waiting for the ferry! It’s drip coffee and they sweeten it up just how I like it. There is coffee on the ferry too but this is way better.

I have been boasting about the drip coffee from Get Goes (Jeff & Zeva) since I had my first couple cups. Their coffee is irrefutably the best in the Bay area. I usually pick up one or two cups before getting on the Alameda Main St. ferry, but there have been times where I stop there on days when I’m not even riding the ferry.
You can also text your order ahead of time, in case you’re running tight on time for the boat. And a bonus… Zeva and Jeff may just be too of the nicest people you’ll ever meet.

I found Jeff& Zeva at the Main St ferry terminal and very glad I did. I was purchasing the horrible ferry coffee for a while out of convenience. Finally made myself wait to try their brew and I will never look back. Absolutely delicious coffee and great snacks. Thursdays are the best with their egg fritatas. Very kind people and great service/​food/​coffee!!!

The people are SO NICE. The truck is super convenient, all parked at the ferry like they are. It’s just too bad that I keep forgetting that I hate their coffee. It’s clearly just me — but it is always way too bitter and burnt tasting for me. Maybe I should try the pour over instead of the espresso drinks? And maybe I’m just a glutton for punishment.. .

Get Goes provides my morning caffeine fix at Main Street Ferry Terminal. Jeff and Zeva are very nice, and they make awesome drip coffees and cappuccinos.

GetGoes Mobile provided coffee service at our wedding in a redwood forest in the Oakland hills. They provided a unique and special touch and elicious beverages. Jeff and Zeva are wonderful, warm people who are a joy to work with!

They come around the office where I work regularly and their drinks are always tasty. I highly recommend the mocha shake (I add peppermint and it’s pretty awesome).

I tried the jasmine tea shake when they were at First Friday, and it was so so delicious. When picking out my beverage Zeva descrlibed it as a «sensual» experience, and boy was she right. Cute truck and super sweet people!

Phenomenal coffee! This van comes outside our office once a week, and myself and several co-​workers never miss it. The quality is excellent, and the baristas (Owners Jeff & Zeva) put so much love into making their drinks. Our favorites are the hot chocolate (big yummy marshmallows!) and all their espresso drinks. *so smooth and creamy!*
We find ourselves sitting on the edge of our seats on Wednesday mornings, waiting for their email to say they’ve arrived. They’ve got a very special product, and wonderful customer service.
If you get on their email list, they’re easy to find.

This is one of those things you daydream about. You’re lying in bed thinking «Man, I wish someone would deliver coffee to me.»
Cut to Jeff and Zeva parked and making delicious pour-​over one block from my house. Track pants: check! Money/​Card: check! Pleasant conversation with J & Z and neighbors: check!

After your run or walk around the lake if there’s no coffee house around this little red van can be your best friend. Me and my friend park right behind it as I almost didn’t look up to take it as a regular vehicle glad I did.
It a great convience there’s no line maybe 4 – 5 at most but man the coffee is just as strong as well known brands. I got me a latte was piping hot to the touch my friend who can’t have any caffine try hot chocolate. Both were delicious and hot I bet Get Goes will be a favorite during winter months. I will never overlook a red van when ever I’m near lake merritt again.

Every Friday I get up excited and run out the door to wait for Jeff and Zeva and their Get Goes Mobile Café. And boy is it worth it! Cause I get the best Mocha n town served with an extra heaping helping of Love, from Jeff and Zeva. These two, are just the nicest folk and their coffee is the bomb!!!

I love Get Goes! Seeing Jeff and Zeva at Lake Merritt on my way to the Farmer’s Market is my favourite way to start my Saturday. Everything they make is delicious, they’re happy to whip you up a custom drink when possible, and I can’t say enough good things about their mocha shakes!

I found this lovely couple at Stonestown Sunday Farmers Market. I’m a bit of a coffee snob and only decent coffee in my area is Peets. So wonderful to find a non chain — locally owned business that makes a wonderful latte while picking up my local organic produce. They are an adorable couple and they make a scrummy latte! Please try them out. you won’t be disappointed!

What a great concept! They have a van that is 100% self-​contained (that means it supplies its own power, refrigeration, freezer, clean water, and storage of waste water). Inside they can whip up any coffee drink you can think of. Everything comes with a Soy option (which is a huge plus for me). Jeff & Zeva are amazingly friendly people. They have great customer service and their coffee rocks! So here’s the challenge, Zeva asked me what I’d like… Since I’m a huge Starbucks Fan (there has never been a coffee drink that satisfies me more than a Caramel Macchiatos), I asked her to make me a Caramel Macchiato, without hesitation Jeff started brewing my drink while Zeva kept me company with a nice chat! The drink was ready in no time. Results: I’m impressed! Not only did it taste just like my favorite drink at Starbucks, its got a really fresh aroma to it and the foam on top… really put me over the top! I’m addicted to this Mobile Café! The next drink I want to try is the Mocha Shake, which I heard has Ice Cream in it! Get Goes Mobile Café would go perfectly with outdoor Weddings and Events; I highly Recommend it!

Had the caramel latte here and now I’m addicted!!! Wonderful latte and service and just by the lake!

Second visit to them today and I brought along the hubby. I tried the Latte this time and it was super creamy-​yummy. Hit the spot! We learned about their super chocolate cookies that is more chocolate than cookie and I had to get one for Lawrence. He is a coffee and chocolate connoisseur. The cookie review = fudgolicious!

Walking the Lake is usually a pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon. Get Goes Mobile makes it all the more enjoyable, especially on an afternoon when the milk supply at home has gone dry. My café au’ lait was hot, creamy, bold and bright, just right!
This is their second weekend at the Lake, east side along Lakeshore Ave. Nice folks, great coffee, super convenient.

Spotted a red van parked near the Lake Merritt Farmer’s Market. Inside was a friendly and eager pair excited to share their espresso. It was their second day open! «We’re not third wave,» they claimed. «We’re going for a more old school Italian flavor» (paraphrased). Their espresso was respectable. I bought a single espresso for 2 $ (who else sells single shots?). There was enough liquid there for a double (definitely not getting Ristretto’s here), but I didn’t catch any noticeable flaws. Even and low key like they said. No pretense involved.
They don’t have an official address and didn’t disclose their bean source or roaster. They mentioned that they serve espresso shakes. Sounds good. There was no gelato in the van, but I requested affogato’s. We’ll see if they come through on that one. But they assured me that it’s all local. Look for the red van at events around Oakland.
