When we bought our home the landscaping was a nightmare. The house was a total fixer upper and the yard looked like Sanford and Son had battled the Beverly Hillbillies. It was a huge job and we had no idea where to begin. Heather totally saved us, and thanks to her there is now a beautiful, low-water Japanese inspired garden where a suburban eyesore once stood. I am more than happy to recommend Hey Nice Garden, and of course, our neighbors love them too.

Heather has designed a number of gardens my company has installed for people over the years. She is 100% professional — an excellent listener who puts her clients’ priorities first. Her designs are beautiful, and her plant selections are thoughtful. Throughout the design and construction process, she communicates clearly with the clients and the contractor, managing expectations, helping to resolve unexpected problems or challenges in installation, and generally making sure the clients get the garden they want. All of these things lead to the well deserved trust people put in Heather. It’s why her projects move smoothly and finish on time, and it’s why we enjoy working with her whenever we can.

The picture Heather’s got on the Hey Nice Garden profile is of my yard. She knows what the hell she is doing from a number of different angles that make a difference: 1. Plants to her are like motorcycles to me. She knows all of them. Their strengths, their weaknesses. 2. She’s hilarious and a genuinely excellent human being. You’re probably going to want to be her friend after she designs a killer garden/yard for you. 3. The woman listens to you. Even if all you have are half-formed poorly articulated notions — she somehow transforms them into a coherent and lovely plan for your space. Alchemy, really. Hire her. You won’t regret it.
