About 5 months ago my husband and decided to buy a house. We went to different open houses and we were lucky enough to have met Kevin; so we started working with him a couple of weeks after.
As inexperienced buyers, my husband and I had a lot of questions and concerns about the buying process. Kevin was really patient explaining us how the whole process works; he answered all of our questions and made sure we were comfortable during the whole process. He provided us written materials explaining as well for our reference.
He responded incredibly fast to all of our inquiries and was readily available to show us properties that we wanted to see.
When we finally found the right house, he worked with us and with the seller’s agent in a very courteous yet aggressive way, understanding that when a potential buyer wants to bid on a property, timing is very important. His way of dealing with the negotiations and submitting our offer was ultimately what got us the house.
My husband and I fell in love with our the house and we did not even want to negotiate down for fear of the seller not entertaining our offer. Kevin, as the expert he is, intervened and advised us the right way; to negotiate some of the things that needed to be fixed and also to offer a fair price on the property, not necessarily what the seller wanted to get.
I found that incredibly honest of him, since most real estate agents would let you offer as much as you can pay because their commission is based on the purchase price of the property. That made me realize even more that he really is interested in offering a good service and the best advise he can to his clients.
So if you are looking to buy/​sell a property, I definitely recommend to work with Kevin. I promise you won’t regret having him as your agent!

There are a lot of real estate agents in Oakland but it will be hard to find someone who is as engaged and helpful as Kevin. I struggled to find the right real estate agent to sell my house in Upper Rockridge in Oakland and hiring Kevin was one of the best decisions I ever made. From the moment we met I knew I was in good hands with him. My house needed some obvious repairs and improvements after living there with 3 kids for 10 years and I knew some work needed to be done to get a good price. But I was completely overwhelmed with the whole process, trying to hire the right contractor, trying to figure out what was the most important things to do and where to start. Kevin was recommended to me by a co-​worker and after I called him he showed up the same day, fully prepared and then he just started to work. He guided me through every step and kept me informed, but took over all the running around. He made a master plan and started to coordinate all the activities, he recommended and contacted the contractors, met with them, supervised them, and even did some of the little (and medium) repairs by himself to save me money. He had clear ideas what should be done and what didn’t need to be done and the end result was a beautiful house that looked better than it had ever looked. Together with his wife Kevin showed my house on two Open Houses and we immediately received multiple offers and the house was sold far above the asking price and beyond the price suggested by other agents.
I recommend Kevin highly to anyone who is in need of a superb Realtor and I am confident everyone will be just as happy as I was.
