Dr. Tim is a careful, thorough, bright no-​nonsense physician who asks a series of pertinent questions before making a medical determination. She doesn’t hesitate to make necessary referrals to specialists, or for x-​rays and lab work, and does so quickly and efficiently. After the appointment, I am given a sheet summarizing the visit, along with any needed referrals. Results from lab work are sent to me as soon as they are available, along with a letter from her explaining out-​of-​range outcomes. Dr. Tim also responds quickly to email messages I send – even after work hours. Great doctor!

This office houses several gpreat mds. And one of them is Dr Tim. Busy office. Wait time is maybe 30 min or less. But i am alwaysprepared.
Not to violate HIPPA rules. Went in. Got taken care of. She listens. Sharp cookie. And on my way with a rx.

If there were a 6^th star possible on Unilocal,I’d give it to Dr. Tim. My experience with her has been nothing but positive.
I have been impressed with her ability to quickly get to the root of my medical complaints. She won’t spend a lot of time shooting the breeze with you, but she will get to the root of your medical problems and will tell you how to solve them. I have been also impressed by Dr. Tim’s reputation among her colleagues. She was initially recommended to me by an internationally-​recognized anesthesiologist at UCSF — someone I trust completely. When I ended up in the ER once, the consulting physician expressed awe at Dr. Tim’s skill, saying she is a «doctor’s doctor» and that I am fortunate to be on her patient roster as she’s quite popular.
I agree with Rena Y’s assessment of Dr. Tim as being totally trustworthy and discrete about personal and very delicate familial medical issues.
I find Dr. Tim to be available whenever I need her, despite her full schedule of patients. She has responded to occasional urgent medical concerns by email late in the evening (through her office’s messaging service). She also works with highly skilled physician’s assistants who can take on the more mundane issues (i.e., recurring sinus infections that just need a quick check and prescription) so I am always quickly able to see someone with the right level of knowledge for my particular complaint, and get immediate treatment when it’s called for.
I shop for medical insurance solely on the basis of whether or not the insurance will keep me covered with Dr. Tim. She’s wonderful.

Straight forward and to the point doctor, which I love. I dont think anyone would want a doctor who beats around the bush when they have news regarding your health. Also, seeing her as a young adult helped a lot – she made me feel like information was confidential and that there’s probably nothing I can tell her that she hasnt heard of. She’ll ask you personal questions as if they were questions you get asked everyday like «how are you?» It was a little uncomfortable for me in the beginning, but once you understand that she’s just trying to get information to help you the best way possible, it becomes a better dialogue.
She uses a lot of the new technology in medicine as well. She’s available online and started using computer technology for a while now. Very well informed doctor and was able to answer a lot of my concerns especially when it came to new medicine.
Great (and popular) doctor. Its a little hard to get an appointment with her when its not an emergency and if you dont want to wait a month to see her. I havent had much of a problem with this yet though.
