disorganization I can deal with, but charging me for a service that I did not receive or give permission to charge my credit card for… completely unacceptable. I think it’s called STEALING, right? I’ve been trying to call them for a week to straighten it out and they aren’t even answering the phone… Well, I won’t be calling them back. And I’ve been robbed.

Today was the first time I had a maid service come to my house and I was very skeptical first. After the first cleaning with Maid Brigade of Oakland, CA I couldn’t be any happier. My home shines and the service was great… actually, it was fantastic. Adriana was very helpful and attentive and the girls not only look nice, but they were also very fast and thorough with their work. I read the other reviews and I didn’t have those same experiences, fortunately. I hope I can continue to have excellent service!

Ok, I continue to be vigilant about this… recently I had a cleaning and I have to say it wasn’t close to the last review (noted below). Some things were not cleaned at all or the minimum was done. However, as I mentioned to Adriana, I continue working with them because at the end of the day, she will do the right thing. She offered to send someone back out, but I’d already cleaned what wasn’t done. The next scheduled I need to be there and supervise which is a bit frustrating for me because I work quite a bit during the week (I think the term ‘workaholic’ is fitting here). But she’s sending a supervisor out with her team to ensure the job is done right. For that I commend her and hope I can change the rating back to the high marks it once was.

For those of you who read my previous review, you may’ve realized that I completely changed my tune. Why? Well, I decided to give Maid Brigade a 2^nd chance. After speaking with the owner, I said that if the team did the cleaning job that I knew they could, I would re-​do my review. And man did they clean up!
Honestly, it was like the 1^st time I went to them. EVERYTHING was spotless. When Adriana asked me which team I wanted to use to clean, I told her to pick the team she felt would do the best job. She picked an ace team! I was blown away! I will absolutely use them again, and have even recommended them to a few friends.
Adriana, thanks for doing the stellar job I knew your team could do. Keep up the good work and I look forward to using your team again!

We chose Maid Brigade because they use green products, but the office is the most disorganized business I’ve ever dealt wtih — they change their prices even though the cleaning is the same, they change appt times, charged my card without my permission, etc etc. Today they tried to charge me for extra rooms, insisting they had been cleaned. I’m not sure if the maids lied on the report, but most likely, the office just didn’t have their sh*t together and it was easier to make something up, than find out what actually happened. I would strongly recommend finding a different service. And the cleaning quality is inconsistent. It would be less of a hassle to do all the cleaning yourself, which is what I plan to do from now on.
