Do you know what ‘dohma’ means in vietnamese? If you don’t, this is probably not the spot for you… If you want a lil’ taste of Hanoi in Oakland, this IS the place (and I’m not talking about the touristy places). At Mong Hoang, you can smoke inside, shoot pool with no pockets, and drink Vietnamese coffees like its meth. By the way, if you’re not Vietnamese and don’t speak it, you best be sure they’ll be talkin’ some mad shi-​take while you’re there… Enjoy!
