This truck has never disappointed me yet and I’ve been coming here for almost 5 years. If you come early before 11 you can get a nice breakfast burrito but if you come after 11 you might have to wait a few minutes 10 to 15 because there’s usually a few truckers waiting to grab a bite as well.

If u like piping hot delicious burritos, this is your spot! Weekdays from 7:30 to 4:30 on the corner of 3rd and market. I have tried there Chicken, Carnitas & Pastor, I would recommend any of those over any burrito I have tried in Oakland.

So far, pretty good, just took a job near here. Had a simple chicken burritto, I am a major mexican food snob, offical mexican-american. They had a wide array of meats and torta’s too.

I don’t know what they do to their veggie burritos, but they are fucking delicious. I don’t know… I really couldn’t tell you why– I suspect it’s that the rice is perfect and flavorful. But for some reason their burritos are infinitely better than other burritos in the area(disclaimer: I am a vegan so I haven’t tried anything but veggie).

The Restaurant /The Truck This truck is always there on 3rd and Market from 7:30 to 4 Monday through Friday. Serves a lot of regulars. Beware that this truck is super busy in the morning and at noon as a lot of truckers. Service Fast, Friendly & Courteous. The Menu My favorite is Breakfast Burrito #2 with Chorizo and hash browns. I also have had their tacos and burritos for lunch. It’s all tasty. Recommendation Come by 3rd and Market and look for the taco truck in picture #2. You wont regret it.

Finally a place that makes breakfast burritos into the afternoon. I miss San Diego where every Mexican stand makes breakfast 24⁄7.

When I went to early morning meetings nearby, I would stop and have a taco or two for breakfast. This truck has been in the back of mind for several years, so I made a trek to Oakland to see if the tacos were as good has I remembered, I was sure they were the tastiest tacos around. They are good, the onions, cilantro, salsa and meat juice were delicious and the asada was good, but not quite as good as the tacos I have been dreaming about.

This truck is generally parked on 3rd street, across from Myrtle in Oakland. It’s a tough spot to get to, as there are loads of trucks and crazy drivers pulling U’s to grab some chow. I know I’m a pansy in this regard, but generally, I’m not a fan of eating out of trucks. Call me crazy, but I just have wayyyy too many images of a vat of loose meat sitting in a driveway overnight & being reheated the next day. That being said, I will almost always order a quesadilla & never really get to experience the full boat of offerings. This truck dishes up: — Quesadillas — Buritos the size of a small warm puppy — Some dangerous hot sauce — Breakfast buritos that seem bite back the eater While you’re waiting for your food, enjoy the signs. There are typos on most every item, which are pretty funny!

The good ol’ trusty stand-by, out by where i work. The chicken they make is some of the best i’ve had, brick n mortar places included. never have had the shits and/or farts from here. great breakfast burritos too! I definitely trust this truck! oh yeah, the rpices are pretty good — $ 4.50 for a regular burrito w/meat, that fills you up everytime. they’ve only raised their prices once since i’ve been goin there throughout the years.

Holy snaps. This place has some of the best tacos outside of Mexico. Thanks to Tracy T. and Unilocal event I was able to have a carne asada and al pastor taco. The meat had a spicy seasoning and had a lot of cilantro in it which I loved. Major props to the taco girl taking orders and keeping her cool after taking a 100 orders from all the Unilocalers and not going off this chick that thought she was the shit because she was«elite.»

its so hard to find a good carne asada taco these days. however, i had a couple of these the other day, and was more than impressed. i really liked how it was slightly crispy on the edges. the flavor of the carne asada was really great and it was really juicy. it was exactly what you want to come out of a roach coach. i was at the Unilocal crucible event when i had these and was pleased to find out that it was located within 10 minutes of my house and in a slightly less dodgy part of town than Tacos Sinaloa or El Grullo. i plan to come here tacos again in the near future.

The 2 free tacos(asada and pastor) I enjoyed at the Fire Arts Festival were both very yummy … maybe cause it was free … maybe cause I had to wait 20 minutes to place an order … maybe because I was hungry … probably all of the above. I generally try to stay away from taco trucks because it’s an addiction I can’t afford myself. But if I stumble upon this truck again, I might just indulge in another taco or 7.

About standard fare for a taco truck. I had two tacos: a chicken and a carnitas. The meat could have been seasoned more and they were very messy to eat due to excess meat juice. Tasty enough though.

Like many others, I had the two free tacos at the Fire Arts preview for the Unilocal Elite. I got two cabeza tacos and it sure was tasty. The lady in front of me was giving a fit because they didn’t give her a fork for her tacos. Like wtf, it’s free! Plus it’s street food, use your hands! Joykill… I’ll have to try the burritos next time

OMG heaven… HEAVEN!!! Fast service and they recently included jamaica in their menu. The workers here are always so sweeeeet!!! Sometimes if you don’t have enough for something they let you slide. By far the best Tacos and Tortas ive ever had. I highly recommend the Lengua Tacos with a lot of lemon on them, on one tortilla. A lot of my friends love their burritos, which are just the best combination of ingredients. Definitely check this place out.

Holy mother of huge burritos! I got the Super with carnitas. When the paper bag was handed to me, I thought for sure the burrito was on a pile of chips. No, it was just extending 5 inches out of the top of the bag all on it’s own. 13 inches long in total!!! :-O Yes, I measured it. I wish I could use as many exclamation points in describing the rest of the burrito. It was OK. I’m not sure what, other than the size, made this«Super». No cheese. No guac. A smattering of sour cream. They should just call it «Big @ss Burrito» to eliminate any confusion or unmet expectations. It was mostly rice. So-so amount of meat(what was there was pretty decent, though I like my carnitas crispier). Standard refried beans. The aforementioned sour cream and. .. lettuce?!? Maybe it’s just me, but I hate lettuce in a burrito. The heat of the other ingredients turns it wilty and stringy. Bleh. Luckily there wasn’t too much of it. Also, didn’t find any tomatos/salsa as another reviewer mentions. Maybe all the good stuff is in the 1⁄3 of the burrito I couldn’t finish. I need to do a forensic analysis. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t memorable. That said, I’ll probably be back and try some tacos(al pastor, of course), but won’t be going for another burrito anytime soon. That’s for sure.

burritos(4.50) tacos(1.25) ques(4.00) supers(7.00)& torta(4.00) are the main draw here. ordered a steak burrito with everything. it was average sized with some sour cream providing most of the flavor and juice. the main ingredients was the rice and beans. the steak was minicubed, mostly tender with a gristle here and there. radish, carrots, and jalepenos came with the burrito, but no sauce. the burrito was slightly above average in taste. nothing special. the patrons are mostly from nearby worksites.

This is the cleanest lunch wagon I have ever seen! Their burritos are the best! The burritos are so big, I could eat half and have the other half the next day. And it’s really closer to Market than Filbert. Check out the pic. It’s Huge!

THEBESTTACOTRUCKINOAKLANDBYFAR. Maybe because its my mommy’s food but still so good. FYI this stand has been open for eight years, my mom has always cooked all the food, and recently she bought the truck from her boss so its no longer Aceves Taco truck its the FASTBURRITO remember that name. haha but the wonderful food won’t change because its still being made by her. So please give her some love and drop by she puts a lot love into her food so you can enjoy it. :)

THEBESTBURRITOSINOAKLAND I have had their lengua, pollo and vegetarian burritos, and tacos. They grill the tortillas(not steam). They serve frijoles refritos — normale. They add fresh cilantro if you like, lots of rice, sour cream, lettuce, tomatoes and salsa. I usually eat the vegetarian burrito, but their meats are delicious. All of the ingredients are packed into the burrito so every bite is an even mouthful of pleasure. On the side, you get jalapeño peppers, radishes, and salsa. They are friendly, efficient, and sometimes silly. It is a nice lilt to the day, especially if it’s stress season, i.e. tax time. Right off the 880, I stand there and finish off a burrito with the truckers and their semis. I wish sometimes I had a camera to film the quiet lunch scene here — right after I’ve finished THEBESTBURRITOINOAKLAND! — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — update 03÷08÷07: still the BESTBURRITOINOAKLAND!
