Two stars because at one time this Panda was good. Went into the restaurant after a long day at work, watched this young lady as she dished up the food, very small portions. I was thinking to myself, why isn’t she giving them a decent amount of food? Well, the person in front of me, read my mind. The young lady began to fix his plate and he said, Is that all? She said sorry, he turned and walked out. It was my turn and I asked her, why are you not serving decent amounts anymore, her reply, my manager said not to. I asked for the manager and of course, they’re not there. She and her coworker were laughing at the last gentlemen and I guess my question warranted a chuckle from her also. I politely told her never mind, now that’s two lost orders. The family in back of me, decided to also go elsewhere. This particular Panda has remodeled, raised prices and decreased servings. Yep, this sounds like a Panda I will no longer visit.

Even though yhe food is alreat The drive through is a joke, the wait was crazy, about 40min. On top of everything my plate was half filled compared to all other panda exp I’ve been too. If I was the owner I would be a lil worried. The good thing about this panda is that there are lots of other spots to choose from if your disappointed with the crew management here like I was.

I visited this locationfor the first time last week. It was very busy inside, but it was 5pm, what did I expect? Well, they moved as quickly as they could. The food was hot. They were out of the cheese ragoons and the lady was nice enough to make some more for me. She said 2 minutes and she wasn’t kidding. The food was the normal tasty Panda Express Food. I was impressed with how they moved the line along in a very organized manner. My order was for take out, do I don’t remember anything exceptional about the dining area except that the place was very crowded. I will be back, it’s a very convenient location for me.

This Panda Express certainly has a convenience to it, the shop being on the road to Oakland International Airport. It is no different than a typical Panda Express, however it does have In-N-Out right next to it, along with several other places in a shopping center. The food is typical American-Chinese fare with all kinds of meat dishes, appetizers, rice and chow mein. Plenty of seating is to be found inside and outside. Of course, since we are talking about a place in the San Francisco Bay Area, there is much better at that price. But when I went there and I had the three-item plate including mushroom chicken, orange chicken and crab meat wontons, it was good. It has it’s place and the food is especially good with addressing our caveman sensibilities for salt and sugar. The orange chicken was good, the other two were average. The only reason I went here and not In-N-Out was that In-N-Out was closed for Easter Sunday. This is about as middle of the road as it gets.

This definitely ISNT worth $ 10, when did this chain restaurant get so cheap just because you go through the drive through. I’m not happy with this amount of food.

I’m going to try to be fair in so much as to say that while we sat in the line to order in the drive thru, we burned 25 min + gas before we hit the order box, menu. Then another 20 min + gas to get to the actual window, which is the distance of 3 medium sized cars ahead of order board. The food was hot, and pretty tasty from this trip, but yet again, another trade off to endure for selecting to eat here tonight, was the staff’s lackadaisical attitude toward the amount of time each customer experiences just to patron the chain. What made this particular thing something to especially note, is sprinkle in far to casual of speech which borders on broken ebonics. Having this greet you, snatch the payment, toss the food bag at you to slam the window shut, is beyond insulting, rude & unacceptable. I realize that the location is by the Oakland Colousium, Oracle Area, but there is a level of professionalism that every service chain to strive to provide that transcends location and stamps your experience of going there with a brand association feeling they strove hard to build in the 1st place. This place needs to train more, get better at managing the menu items volume more sustinctly to the time of day and amount of customers in line. I would have rated higher but I can’t in good conscience as I place higher standard on Customer Service… and fast food employees want to be paid more an hour. Provide the customer service deserving a higher wage and I bet it wouldn’t be much of a continuous demand being passed to consumers.

Worst drive thru. I spent over 30 minutes waiting. So just prepare, those of you who only have 30 minute lunch breaks won’t make it.

The food was pretty standard but the white rice tasted like it was scrapped off the bottom of the bowl. It was very crispy. Trash cans were over flowing.

Unsanitary. I should have left. Right as I was about to order, I saw a worker dumping food scraps from a to-go plate back into the food trays. Where these scraps came from I don’t know(it looked like her unfinished lunch). The only food that should be filling those trays SHOULDONLYCOMEFROMTHEKITCHEN, and NOT from a back room somewhere. Now I had to eat steam rice instead of fried rice because I refused to eat someone else’s crumbs and scraps. Just for that, I should call you guys out for a health code violation. I brought it up to another worker and he just apologized. Not his fault. Nevertheless, I hope management reads this review and I hope they know they just lost more customers.

The food is standard. Pretty good, nothing special. The prices are a little high for what you get. $ 11 for a medium drink and a 2 entrée plate. I did opt for shrimp so they added $ 1.25 but still not worth it.

This location has the slowest drive thru in America. Make sure your gas is on fleek before your car dies out while waiting for your food.

My spot. Food is almost always fresh. Always somewhere to have a seat. The staff are nice. If they ran out of a certain item they will make it quick for you. They got the cooks hustling so thats a plus. Plenty of parking space. This spot is by far better then the one in Marina Square.

Cheap ladies give tiny portions, food has been sitting. Also, make sure you lock your car before you leave it in the parking lot. Filth of oakland.

I have come here at least 5 different times, before 10pm and they’re out of half of the things on the menu. Specifically the meat entrees. I’m giving up on this location.

Is it just me that gets home with the panda express from the drive thru and the plate is so limp and soggy… Reminds me of someone i once dated… The only thing that makes me forget it is that amazing orange chicken and walnut shrimp! I love this panda express as long as it’s not around noon. The line is always backed up around lunch time making you wonder why you didn’t pick in and out burger for as long as it took… The string bean chicken is pretty good too. I switch it up with the half chow me in half rice and they never leave me hanging on portion size. I don’t ever go in cause its in the hood but from what I see, it looks cleans from the outside looking in.

This is the best Panda Express I’ve ever been to. Not only is the atmosphere of the place great, the staff is incredibly nice. Someone came by as we were eating and asked if we needed anything else as if it was a full service restaurant, even delivering a glass of water! I believe his name was Ron or Bön?(Sorry) As for the food, it is a Panda Express so don’t expect much. However, I don’t usually like Panda, but this is pretty good. If you’re looking for a quick and delightful meal, I highly recommend this location.

I knew it! I should have checked Unilocal before coming here. This place is only 2.5 stars and it shows! Slow service, the food is mediocre at best and it’s not that cheap. The Walmart next door attracts that«Je Né Sais Quoi» that makes you never want to come back. We came here because in-n-out line was out the door… the line at this panda was empty… that says something. Should have gone with our first instinct.

We ended up ordering here on Easter Sunday because In n Out was closed… We ordered the family meal for 30 bucks, rice and noodles, and we got eggrolls, eggplant tofu, beans n chicken and steak n mushrooms for an extra charge, oh yeah, they have brown rice too… Our takeout was calculated to about 45 bucks out the door, it was ok… Once in awhile, even us Chinese crave Chinese fast food… lol

Ok, fine. Call me a hypocrite. For all of my ranting about how Panda Express is NOT Chinese food and my picking on my husband for having been excited about one opening in his hometown in Texas some years ago… I finally tried a Panda Express for the first time in my life 3 years ago while at a Six Flags and didn’t totally hate it. In fact, I’ve actually come here on purpose. Twice. Thing is, though. It ISN’T Chinese food. And that ISN’T what you come here for.(My American husband says that telling an American that Panda Express isn’t Chinese food is like telling a kid that Santa isn’t real. He’s cray cray.) You come here for fast food that is superior to its mystery meat-serving competition. You come here because it is a fast food establishment that has a drive-thru and RICE, something I can’t go more than 4 days without unless I’m in the middle of another one of my carb-eliminating intensive diets due to my ever-expanding Unilocal belleh. You come here for the Walnut Shrimp(3.5÷5), the Shanghai Angus Beef(3.25÷5 — tender the first time I tried it but has been chewy the last few times I ordered it), and maaaaaaaaaaybe the Orange Chicken(2.5÷5). The Orange Chicken is actually really tiny pieces of overbreaded chicken doused in a flavorful sauce that masks the fact that you’re eating mostly crap. And it’s almost inedible if you wait over 1 hour to consume it. But still, when rating a fast food establishment, you can’t compare it to a Michelin or proper restaurant. You can’t even compare it to the Mom & Pop’s who are personally invested into their customers’ satisfaction. You compare this to McDonald’s, KFC, and Pizza Huts. And this, folks, is an A-OK alternative.
