I love Quiznos. I became a fan about 5 years ago. I hate Togo’s and love Subway. Anyhoo, this particular Quiznos was in an unexpected place off Edgewater Dr. I was trying to find a new place to go to lunch, looked off to the side and saw Quiznos in a very small nook plaza. It’s right next to a pizza place that offers everything from Burgers to Calzones. But if you want a slightly cheaper place to go to for lunch — Quiznos will be the spot. It wasn’t too crowded but during lunch times, employees from all around Edgewater come here and it can get busy. Very small parking lot because of the small plaza center in general. The employees are nice, clean and efficient. Prices and menu are clear. There are seats inside if your eating there or to-go if you like. Limited seating though. So not too good for big groups trying to eat lunch together. If your a shade person, the way the plaza is sitting — it gets all the sun when it’s out and limited shade if you try to eat in your car. So if you don’t have on sunscreen, take it inside or — to go. Of course Edgewater is an area with lot of warehouses. So a lot of traffic and trucks going by as you come in and out of the plaza. And it’s located right by the Hwy. Look both ways! Nobody wants an accident! I’ll be back…

Food quality was good BUT they should toast the sandwich a little bit more. I have been here eight times and the sandwiches still come out warm instead of toasted. I personally like the sound of a crunchy sandwich more than a non crunchy sandwich fyi. The service was okay I just wish they smiled before asking what I wanted to order.

Its no secret there aren’t many of these locations left and after today I see WHY! Poor customer service. Broke pieces on the drink machine. Causing me to be unable yo get the drink I wanted. Sloppy. They didn’t add a fork in my bag for my salad and forks aren’t available out side of the food prep area. Then when I open my bag I see the sauce lid wasn’t put on so my sauce was all over my bag! Wow Sauce wasn’t available or ready in the lobby as usual either! this is why they had to pour me a cup and it spilled.

Stingy with napkins. If you can’t operate a business without telling customers«I already gave you napkins» or «they are in the bag» you need to reconsider doing business. They have not a single napkin dispenser in the store! Cheap owners!

Sometimes I forget to bring my lunch and my sister and I have to decide on what to eat. So twice we have been to this Quiznos when we are not craving burgers or burritos lol. Since I came in the morning at 10am there’s never any people and i get in and out in about ten minutes. Luckily I don’t have to wait around in huge lines since I have to be back to work quickly.

This place was stupid insane when I was there yesterday. A long line had formed so with all these people waiting to place their orders you literally couldn’t slip past them without bumping in to them to get to the end of the line. There are 2 tables that seat two people each, 4 tables that each seat a single person and one round table that barely seats 2. Get the picture not much room. I placed my order and then after waiting for a long period of time and I saw there would be no place to sit in this small a$$ place I meander right on outta this place. …and hey Quizno’s, what happen to that black & blue salad you use to offer and why did you take it off the menu. For being an establishment in a large shopping center where there is a WALMART you folks need a bigger place so customers actually have options for seating. …and while your at it can you please tell your employees to quite yelling crap out to their friends in Spanish cuz they think no one can understand them. HELLO, Spanish is the number two language of our nation. I don’t care about the speaking Spanish, heck I’m Chicana. What I don’t like is the crap talk whether its in English, Spanish, Russian, Chinese or any other ease. So cut it out and hush up!

I’m giving it 2 stars based on customer service and pricing. It’s absolutely terrible! I’m not a quiznos regular so maybe that’s the reason I’m so shocked but I seriously think that charging 8 bucks for a regular sandwich, which is the equivalent to a 6″ at subway, is just way too much. Not only that but they charge you EXTRA for friggin tomatoes! Last time I checked, tomatoes are as common on sandwiches as lettuce! It’s absolutely ridiculous!

Haven’t been to this Quizno’s in several months. Today when ordering my sandwich, they wanted to charge me extra for tomatoes. TOMATOES. When did this type of vegetable become an extra? Is this all Quizno’s or just this one? I will go to the deli counter at Safeway or to Subway next time. Otherwise my sandwich is tasty.

Typical Quizno’s. The sandwiches are solid and the service was semi-quick and not overly friendly. My office is moving to the hood so I might become a regular.

Stopped here for lunch yesterday after doing some shopping at Hockey Xsport. Left a jacket with a wallet in the pocket hanging on the chair. Didn’t realize it was gone until we were in Emeryville on our way home. When we got back, the employees had taken it in back and held it for us. Everything was still there. I believe one of the employees was named Rubio. Both of them were our heroes! I wish we could have afforded to give them both a reward, they deserved it.

I know some people don’t like this Quiznos but let me tell you a little secret… THEREISNOHEALTHYFOODINEASTOAKLANDBUTQUIZNOS! I’ve counted. On the way to Quiznos I drive past: 2 McDonalds 1 Burger King 1 A&W 1 Taco Bell It’s a health-nut NIGHTMARE! Thank GOD! IEven though I have to endure the 10 minute drive-10 minute sandwich acquisition-10 minute drive back while eating sandwich in car ordeal in order to make it back from lunch on time, if it weren’t for them I honestly don’t know what I would eat if I didnt bring a lunch to work. Yes they are slow and its gets really crowded and slow during peak lunch times, but you CAN call in your sandwich and they will do it. I like them because they remember my special-only pickles-only olives-foot long tuna melt when they see me, since I order the same sandwich every single time. They’re not perfect but I don’t see other options in the area. As a good friend of mine says«What can do?»

This is store #6116 This Quiznos is in a strip mall off Edgewater across the parking lot from the large Wal-Mart near the Oakland Airport. In this liitle strip mall, it is very Oakland. You have your choice of Quiznos, The Oakland Raider’s store, or Wing-Stop chicken. Well, Jamba Juice is moving from the Burbs into the inner cities, since they are here, too. No Nation’s Burgers or Church’s Chicken here, though. Call it the gentrification of Hegenberger road! The place was pretty busy, as there was about a 10 person line. It moved pretty quickly, though. There were about 4 tables to eat at. Right now, Quiznos is in a locked horn competition, head to head. Quiznos has a special $ 5 foot long(on white only bread) special going. Subway has a similar deal, $ 5 for a footlong sandwhich. They are about the same, depending on your preferences. Q runs your sandwich(meat, cheese and bread only) through the toaster, to crisp up the bread. S can do this too, but I don’t think they offer that for the $ 5 foot long special. But you can get wheat bread as well as white for that special.

This place is horrible. Its so small and gets crowded easily. They do not weigh their meat so I have often gotten sandwiches with hardly any meat, or even with meat on only one half! $ 5-$ 7 sandwich should come with ½ lb of meat, as per most delis’. They don’t speak english well, so communication is hard. And in general the employees lack luster and make sloppy, messy sandwiches. It’s really a disgrace.

Are you ready to ring out? Are you ready to ring out? Are you ready to ring out? Ummm…didn’t I say no the first two times? I was the only one in this place, and the sandwich maker guy was totally sweet, but the chick was just ready for me to leave. I’ll come to the counter princess, when I am ready to ring out.

I love Quiznos. Really. C’mon… TOASTY. YUM! But when I came here that ONE time a few months ago, it was awful. Horribly awful. So awful, that if it were my first time at a Quiznos, I would never go back. I got my favorite Classic Italian sub. And my favorite part, that it was *toasty*… well, it just wasn’t. Toasted, that is. OK, it was toasted, but I seriously think that their oven was broken or something because my sub was COLD. *Toasty* my ass…
